I temporarily moved into a furnished apartment, and one week into my stay, I found out that the smoke detector did not have any battery installed!!! I might give them slack if it was a dead battery, but it was just empty. My employer overpaid for this apartment. The water pressure is low, and the air conditioning temperature is not adjustable. The aesthetics are nice, and the residents are friendly. Pool is a bonus, but check the basic stuff in the apartment before renting.

Did you leave something outside your door for a day? Get a $50 fine.
Did you throw cardboard in the dumpster? Get a $50 fine.
Does your blinds have a single dent? Replace them for $50.
Were you given two sets of keys? Guess what, you're charged $100 as if you were given three sets.
I was charged $1,300 to replace the entire carpet because of a 4 sq in patch of carpet.
If you like being charged boat loads of money, live here.
Update: they claim that the carpet couldn't be patched because of "80% urine contamination". Not sure that's possible after I cleaned up

I lived at Legacy for about 1.5 years and if I could give it zero stars I would. DO NOT MOVE HERE! Management has a terrible attitude, does not care about residents, and fails to pick up the phone...especially if they know your number. To go beyond, once management knows you’re moving out they will not answer at all. Post-move out they even said over a phone call that they take a shift lunch from 12-3 and yet no one could seem to pick up the phone. While I lived there, I did not feel safe at all and for good reason. There were drug deals from residents in the neighborhood going on outside my

This place has grown to be Home to me, seeing young and older folks coming together, from talking about the weather and events, to helping each other move! I have met wonderful people here and I always feel safe and welcomed! Beautiful landscapes and trustworthy staff that always delivers! Would recommend to anyone looking to start anew! ☺💕

Incredibly safe environment! We love everything about our place; HOWEVER, unfortunately, the washers and dryers in the Laundry Facility NEVER work. Currently, there is an “out of order” sign on 3 out of 8 washers/dryers, and it has been like that for almost a month. At $1.75 per load in each (washer & dryer), we expect the amenities to work. We love how modern and spacious our apartment is, but because of the poor maintenance with our Laundry Facilities, we are sorely disappointed.

The office staff is inexperienced with no concept of customer service. The grounds are not kept up. There is one trash compactor for 400 units. Trash is always piled up at the dumpster site because of being to full. The cost of rent is outrageous for an apartment that is not even close to their advertised luxury apartments. The management company,… Blue Ridge, does not seem to really care about how the place is being maintained. There were multiple complaints about bushes being overgrown and blocking the entrance ways. Great, safe apartment complex. The security system in every apartment makes it easier to sleep at night. The pool is open year round with a rentable movie theater that is great! I've used the maintenance staff several times and they're always very prompt and respect that I work night shift!! Can't say enough about the staff.
