My husband and I lived at the Stonemill apartments for 2 1/2 years. We enjoyed living there even though we were initially misled on a few things (told our apartment had a fireplace and extra window it did not). We even had several friends move into the apartments based on our recommendation. We didn’t run into major issues until move out. With our family growing we had to relocate to another state. We moved out about 2 months early with the intention to not resign. BEWARE.. they apparently require a 2 month notice instead of the customary 1 month and will charge you “month to month” automatically

I love living here with my pug and my cat. I am a law student and so my number-one priority is a quiet, safe, and affordable living space. This apartment is up against the woods and is right down the road from two churches. They keep the landscaping and common areas around the complex well kept. Every time I have had any kind of maintenance issue, the maintenance staff do their best to take care of the problem as quickly as possible. The office staff always goes out of their way to make me feel like I am their priority. I've never lived in a better apartment. I would recommend to families and to

The scenery is beautiful. They have done an excellent job with the grounds! Had a load of problems with the a/c not working or leaking down the walls. One of their managers tried to say it was because we were flipping it constantly from heat to cool. This was not the case. Maintenance came several times, and they called a contractor twice. They did get the a/c working in the end. Then it started to leak from the inside unit down the wall. One of the maintenance gentlemen told us the only way they could fix the leak is if they tore out the wall. There was some damage on the wall when we left, but

These are very nice apartments in the Lynchburg community. My son lives here along with his wife. He has lived here for about 2 years now. When we visit we are always impressed by the cleanliness and the way that the landscaping is kept looking good. They always makes a good 1st impression. The apartments are laid out well and very good for a starter family.

Lived here for one year and would’ve stayed longer if it weren’t for transferring to Ohio. Beautiful grounds, fantastic and friendly office staff, spacious apartment (2 bed, 2 bath), nice outdoor space. Noise level/hearing neighbors is what you would expect in an apartment complex. Maintenance is fast and friendly. Definitely recommend this complex to anyone looking - even if you can’t come see it for yourself beforehand (like me when I moved!).

We love the Overlook at Stonemill Apartments and are in the process of renewing for our fourth year. The office staff is extremely professional and accommodating. The maintenance workers are exceptional and immediately remedy any issues that occur. Our daughter loves to wave and say "hi" to them when we saw them around the complex. My husband loves to use the large Weber gas grills (there are four on the property!) throughout the year. There is a small, well-kept playground for our children. The apartments are clean, updated, and well-maintained. We spend our afternoons in the summer at the pool
