We stayed here for my 40th birthday. They had a nice corner table saved for us to eat at the restaurant which was amazing. The food was PERFECT both dinner and breakfast. The concierge left us a bottle of Prosecco along with a nice note and a bag of birthday popcorn in our room while we ate. The made us feel so special and welcome. Will definitely be staying there again, as well as eating at the restaurant. I’ve stayed in some very high end hotels and have never been treated this well. Highly recommend this place.

We'll be back! We spent our Thanksgiving at Hotel Teatro. The staff was helpful, friendly, professional, and competent. They went over and beyond to ensure we were enjoying our stay. The rooms were clean, orderless, comfortable, and fancy. The attention to the details was obvious. The decorations in the lobby and cafe/study area were breathless! Check it out if you are locally (like we are) or planning to visit Denver.

Great views and a fun atmosphere, there was a wedding so we didn't get to try the restaurant but breakfast was tasty! Soaking tub is a really nice touch and the bed was very cozy. The best part is they are very pet friendly (even with my not so friendly dog which is greatly appreciated)

Pros:
Location is prime, the hotel is charming with unique furniture and the staff was welcoming. Casey made the check-in process fun and had us laughing all the way up to the room. The bed was comfortable enough to get good rest.
Cons:
The restaurant was closed when we checked out and we were unable to get coffee/snack, the duvet cover was on upside down so buttons were in our face when we got into bed and our room only had one robe and when we called down for another they seemed a little off-put and didn’t have another. First world problems, I know.
Overall would stay again!

Overall very below average hotel. Service was sub par-- staff was not trained to be helpful or have a proactive "how can I help" good attitude. The valet was good natured, however. Overall did not feel like welcomed guests.

Rooms are tiny! Smaller than a cruise ship.

It's just a mediocre experience. Nothing stood out.

And our room had no windows, but we did have industrial air conditioning units right outside which produced a lovely high pitch whistling that prevents any hope of sleep. Of course I am writing this at 5am with no sleep! (And by whistling I mean turbine jet engine

By far our favorite Hotel in Denver! This was our third time staying and each time has been equally amazing. Matthew and the rest of the staff are some of the most kind people you will ever meet. The rooms are beautiful, and truly make you feel right at home. All of that plus an amazing location make this place easily our first choice. Thanks again Hotel Teatro!!

I visited Hotel Teatro to study in The Study--a tastefully decorated and quiet nook to get some work done. The hotel staff treated me like a paying guest, checking in on me and offering me complimentary bottled water. This will be the first hotel I look to stay in if I come back to Denver! Thanks guys!

I hated my room. I didn't realize/understand that it was RIGHT next to the industrial kitchen fan. The room I was initially given (room 213) had frosted glass windows RIGHT next to what essentially was a turbine engine that runs 24 hours a day. It was so incredibly noisy. I went back to the front desk and asked for another room (something I have NEVER done in my life). I offered to pay for an upgraded room - realizing that I had picked the cheapest room when booking (my bad). I was then told there were no other rooms available (not factual! - the hotel's site showed they DID have additional rooms

Disclaimer, i didn't stay at Hotel Teatro, but i spent an evening there with a friend in from out of town. Matthew the manager was fantastic. He has a great sense of humor and was super willing to assist with any questions we had. I live locally in Colo, and just came to the city to have dinner with a friend. The hotel location is great, very close to tons of walkable restaurants, and fun nightlife. The hotel itself is very neatly decorated, i have no idea what the price per night is, but I'm sure you're getting a great deal. This absolutely seems like a premium hotel, in a premium location, and

Our group of 10 spent the night here on our way to a mountain resort stay. We all loved it - great location, and very nice rooms, but the service really was pretty extraordinary. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. I mentioned to the group sales office that it was a birthday trip for me, and absolutely everyone on the staff I encountered wished me a happy birthday - unexpected and very sweet!

I love this little quaint hotel! The bathtub was fantastic, the beds comfortable. Was here during Covid, so tons of stuff closed. I would like to go back when things are open. The only problem I had was securing a soda late at night.

We loved our stay here! Situated right downtown across from Four Seasons close to the 16th street mall. Stayed in the top floor with the balcony rooms. The balconies are tiny, no seating. And it's not private. The room has a coffee maker and a fridge. The cafe was good. The food was limited due to covid but the burger was AWESOME. All staff were very pleasant. And the hotel is walking distance to like 3 different 7-11s lol.

I was really torn on what rating to give. On one hand I wanted to rate the room a 4, but on the other hand some things were a 3... I'm not sure if I should just blame it on COVID. The challenges were the limitations on the restaurant hours. It was pretty much closed the entire time. Also there was no housekeeping and the sink in my room was clogged, but the room it self was super duper cute and the guest service agents were nice. I think I would stay here again post COVID to determine if those things are rectified. The hotel is also centrally located to everything that's everything

Wonderful staycation at Hotel Teatro!! I can imagine this being a great spot for tourists. The service was wonderful from start to finish and the guy from the front desk never failed to make us laugh with the jokes and made something as trivial as asking for toothpastes to be delivered to our room a fun time! Very positive and welcoming service.

They even helped us with getting us seated at The Nickel since no one was helping us there!

The room itself was very nice. My friend really enjoyed the bathtub and I thought the shower was refreshing. Everything seemed so clean and spacious. Great experience

Dear hopeful traveler,
We are locals who stayed here for a New Years field trip. This hotel is stunning! If we hadn't been determined to explore downtown (safely, masks on always I promise) I would have spent all day reading in the lobby.
The location of Hotel Teatro is prime for anyone hoping to be a tourist downtown. It's a short walk to Larimer and 16th street which allowed us to take advantage of the free mall ride-making exploring even easier/faster/less cold.
The room was beautiful and cozy. We had hoped to have a movie night in the room and there is no way to access any of your

My stay in this hotel ended up being more significant than I ever imagined. Please take the time to read this if you are unsure of Hotel Teatro...

My boyfriend and I were planning to take a road trip to Denver from Dallas and decided to book through Hotwire. We specifically searched for pet friendly hotels as we were taking our 9 y/o dog Rio with us. We ended up booking a hot rate deal and got the Brown Palace Hotel for four nights. On their website, they mention "The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa is pleased to be one of the most welcoming pet friendly hotels Denver offers. Please note that

For those of you fortunate enough to have read my reviews, you'll know that I love bringing Wonder Wife to Denver every once in a while for a getaway weekend.

With Valentine's Day falling on a Friday this year, it was the perfect opportunity to indulge in a romantic weekend, so I started looking around for a hotel.

Normally, we stay at one of the larger nice chains like the Grand Hyatt, but Hotel Teatro caught my eye on a travel site. I went to the hotel site directly and found a great rate on a King Suite and decided to take a chance.

I'm glad I did.

The hotel is conveniently

We came here for a little staycation and had a wonderful time. Hotel Teatro is located in such a convenient location and made it easy for us to enjoy the Performing Arts Complex and all of Larimer Square.

Also, I loved that this is a historic building that has maintained aspects of that but the rooms have been renovated and still have all the modern amenities expected in a hotel room.

Cute hotel and love the industrial, rustic type of design. All rooms look differently and the sizes of the bathrooms differ. I was lucky enough to have a whole bathtub separate from my shower which I definitely took advantage of! The desk and mini fridge was a little tight being on the side of the bed, but it was nice to have. There were many outlets near the bed which is always helpful. The lights could've been brighter, but it still served its purpose. There are no "do not disturb" signs but there is a tassel, I guess works the same way. They also have bathrobes in the closet which

Hotel Teatro saves the day! My fiancé and I were in Denver and needing a comfy spot to stay after a LONG day at a festival (and tour for him). We no longer live in the city and the closest place for us to sleep is an hour and a half away, so having a spot right in downtown Denver sounded more than a-okay. I will note that I won a giveaway for one night's stay (!) so our room was complimentary for the night, but I'm one hundred million percent sold and will be booking a stay here again ASAP.

I was pretty familiar with Hotel Teatro from their dreamy study/bar/restaurant downstairs but
