This place is amazing. I have extreme anxiety regarding the dentist, and Dr. Chung and her team made every effort to make sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. Dr. Chung is brilliant and thorough - she went over every problem with my teeth, showed me what she was looking at with my x-rays and how she was making her decisions.
Dr. Chung was able to pin point and address underlying issues right away instead of quick fixes of wasted time any money I had for years from other dental offices. We believe there are more factors at play than just gum disease and cavities when diagnosing dental problems. The scope of oral health is not limited to the mouth, it is reflective of the overall health.

I meant to write this review a long time ago, but birdseye dentistry is just really trustworthy. I came in one time a little bit worried I could be pregnant, and they refused to do fillings, in case it could be dangerous, and it turns out I was two weeks pregnant so thank you for being cautious rather than just excepting any appointment! And then another time I had a bunch of fillings that needed to be done, but when they went to do one of them it turned out it actually did not need to be filled anymore, and so they told me on the spot - I could definitely see a shadier dentist just going for it

The best dentist in LA!! I moved here from Missouri and finding new doctors, dentists, etc. when moving to a new city can always be a hassle but when I discovered Birdseye, there was no hassle at all. Everybody is so friendly and they honestly make coming to the dentist enjoyable. I started my Invisalign treatment with Dr.Chung and she's very attentive and nurturing. Been going here for almost 3 years and highly recommend. Dr. Chung is friendly and does really great work. She and her staff go above and beyond to make me (a highly anxious person) feel comfortable and relaxed during each procedure. They have Netflix in each room that you can watch either with subtitles or headphones.
Their dental chairs have a MASSAGE and WARMING feature which really curves anxiety!
Strict COVID protocols, so feels very safe during this crazy pandemic.

DO NOT GO HERE. Scammy charges. Lost $200 All because I had missed an appointment by accident due to unforeseen personal matter with a pet. They will not apply the fee to a future service nor will insurance cover the charge because it's not a service provided. This is how they can pay for millennial branding by scamming people who are on Covered California because they've lost their jobs. People who are desperately trying to make it by. A serious scam and very disappointing considering how well they are rated for their services.

I've been extremely pleased with the services I've had done here at Birdseye Dentistry. I had not been to see a dentist in 10+ years, so I was obviously way past due for dental work. X-rays were taken and I was examined and given a treatment plan with what my insurance plan would cover and what I would be responsible for paying out of pocket. This was all clearly explained, and I was not made to feel embarrassed for neglecting my teeth for so long.
My treatment has been going great and for the most part pain free. Also being able to get a crown done same day has cut down on my visits

I always saw the best dentists in Beverly Hills great experiences and happy with services. Then my financial situation changed, I was not able to see a dentist for several years. I found Dr Chung by chance and she is wonderful.
Her staff, hygenists, everyone is friendly, I get great care and the prices are very resonable. On my first visit one of the front staff told me how to sign up to get a dental savings plan, that has helped me get the care I need.

Not only the greatest dentist, but greatest doctor I’ve known from NY to LA. I have been a patient for 3 years. I’m 42 yrs old. After childhood braces failed because I didn’t wear my retainer, I gave up on my teeth for nearly 20 years. Now my teeth are straight and healthy, and I’m proud of my smile. I just didn’t think it was possible. Dr. Millie Chung and her staff have no equal. I actually look forward to going to the dentist. Now THAT’S saying something! Dr. Chung is the greatest doctor I have ever come across. I have been a patient at Birdseye for over three years. Her staff is excellent. This week I am extremely happy with my teeth. I have completed the Invisalign treatment. I honestly never thought my teeth would look this good again. Half way through the process I had a bad day and I took it out on Dr. Chung, blaming Birdseye for my own mistake of losing a tray. This review is way over due. I have been going to Birdseye for a few years and have nothing negative to say about Dr.Chung and her staff. They are all friendly, warm, & welcoming. The facility is extremely clean and modern. This is the first dentist office I actually looked forward to visiting.
I regularly get my teeth cleaned and had Invisalign. Before making my decision on Invisalign, I was presented with the option of traditional braces. I’ve been going to Birdseye for a year know. I always leave their office happy that I went to the dentist. Which is a miracle, because for forty years I have dreaded every dentist I’ve had. But alas I found Birdseye with gentle and caring dentists who are genuinely concerned with your teeth and well being while you’re in the chair. And speaking of chairs, did I mention they have massage chairs? I mean, you get massaged while wearing headphones and watching your favorite Netflix show. Good service and kind people. I always feel informed and never pressured. I’ve been going for cleanings for the past year. I also did zoom whitening and was really happy with that as well. I just got a small chip on my front tooth fixed, too, and it looks so good. And now during COVID, they are taking many precautions to keep their staff and patients safe. I def recommend.

The facility is modern and clean. Front desk is very nice. They do have strict COVID protocols, so that's good. It seemed like they spent more time taking x-rays and pictures than cleaning. The cleaning was fine. I did receive recommendations that my previous dentist of 5 years never recommended, so I see where the negative reviews are coming from about over diagnosing. However, I didn't feel pressured to complete their recommended services. Dr. Chung is everything and more!! Firstly, this is a woman of color run business and everyone who works here are people of color. As a person of color I always feel cared for. Even before the pandemic they would wear PPE and now with the pandemic they have made sure to make patients safe. When you arrive for your appointment they have you wait in our car or outside. This place is a sleek variation on the classic dental take-down: bring you in with an inexpensive cleaning special, take a few x-rays and probe your pockets, then recommend a hideously expensive treatment plan for a bunch of procedures you probably don't need. Great Dentistry! From the moment you walk in the door you are greated with a big 'Welcome' and a smile. They are very efficient, nice, and helpful. I have had the pleasure of being assisted by Dr.Castillo, Alejandra, Martha, Jose, Ivan and Dr.Chung but the whole staff is a delight. I feel safe, secure, and taken care of.
I have came a few times now and they have never dissapointed me. Plus, they have Bluetooth headphones and Netflix that they let you watch while they work on your teeth. Will keep coming back and definitely recommend!

Really happy with my overall experience at Birdseye Dentistry! This was my first visit and I received a full dental examination, x-rays and a cleaning.
The staff was very friendly, and the technician helping was thorough with everything that she was doing. She gave me the option to watch Netflix, asked if I needed a blanket and also gave me the chair control that gave heat and a massage (since when are dental chairs this fancy???) . The sign painted on the window says holistic but they do not practice Holistic dentistry which left me feeling disgruntled and deceived. I didn't want to spend my time, or hers just to leave with the problem in my tooth that I went there to emergency save.
I'd had two other quotes for extraction, bone graft and post for SIGNIFICANTLY less then theirs.
The male receptionist said something ridiculous that deemed them holistic. Like a thing they use in their practise is recycled, therefore they are leaning toward a holistic endeavor. With that one product .. misrepresenation. Insults

Everyone there was kind, professional and their customer service was amazing!
Dr.Chung (Beautiful Millie) is intelligent, funny, patient, caring, beautiful, and she's super helpful. She took her time to explain the issues I'm having with my teeth. From explaining the x-rays to deep cleaning my teeth she made it her top priority to make sure I knew the issue and knew I could count on her to resolve them. She even had a whole step by step plan

Best dentist I've ever been to. I just got home from getting four fillings done. My mouth is still numb but I really wanted to express my gratitude for finding such an amazing compassionate dentist. I normally… have a lot of dental anxiety and in the past novocaine didn't work on me. With my previous dentists I had a lot of pain I just had to deal with. Not anymore! Dr. Chung did an amazing job. This has not changed for me - but Dr Chung is so gentle and so caring and sweet.… Hugo holds my hand a lot during my dental appointments and that really makes a big difference. Martha is always so friendly and kind. If you have to go to the dentist - this is where you want to go. I don't see myself avoiding my dental appointments anymore because at least I know with this team - I am being well cared for and not belittled because I have a difficult time dealing

My experience at Dr. Chung's office was just amazing from the time I walked in to the time I left. Martha and Hugo have the most amazing friendly smiles and were so helpful. Where do I even begin with Dr. Chung? She is the epitome of what a dentist should be: thorough, informative, skilled, and empathetic. The state of the art technology and the importance she places on keeping the patient informed about every little step of the process--the whats, whys, and hows of everything that is happening--make a usually… terrifying event (who doesn't hate going to the dentist?) feel absolutely safe and comfortable.
