Great food, friendly and accommodating staff! I came here with friends for a sit down dinner and the staff was accommodating and friendly. Delicious food. I look forward to trying their take-out menu!

Worst experience and will never order again from them. Placed a to go order at noon for a 6:30 pm, available time based on there website. Received a texted at 6:15 pm saying our order would be delayed until 7, ok. Went to pick up the order and was told two hours minimum until our food would be ready. Very poor execution and management.

Second time visiting for us. We had coke up here for some Christmas shopping. Decided that we needed to stop. Red curry soup with chicken as well as BBQ pork with a side of greens. The soup has winter squash and a nice hot kick. Hot tea do both us us to help warm us up from walking around. Perfect!

To those whom have family member's that are very particular about food, you know the type of family members I'm referring to, the uneasily amused, overly critical, who give u the sneering eye glance when your shirt don't match your pants, or is constantly inquiring when your gonna get married and have kids, or "why she has a lip ring and is half your age", "I don't know why she has to wear that really short skirt aunt Linda, but she's spontaneous and fun! Just got back to Long Island from Thailand on Sunday. Came to Portsmouth for the weekend and was eager to find one of my favorite Thai dishes. Started with chicken dumplings and kra-tong thong. The dumplings were complimented with coconut milk brushed on them and were absolutely delicious. The kra-tong thong has delicious veggies and chicken stuffed in a fresh crispy pastry cups. Make sure you put the sour cucumber sauce on the cups, really makes it tasty! Finally my favorite dish, drunken noodles with chicken. Perfect amount of spice, pretty spicy for most but my girlfriend really enjoyed it too

Love us some Thai and this place did not disappoint! They had unique items on the menu from most and we decided to give a couple a try.

Beef noodle soup absolutely 10/10. The beef was huge tender chunks of beef rather than sliced chewy beef you typically get. So delicious I would consider it a treat.

Next we tried Crispy Pad Thai. It came with an entire plate of crispy noodles. I am not sure what we were expecting, but this wasn't quite it. Glad we gave it a try though. If we ordered it again we would ask for half and half as we liked the crispy noodles, but not for the whole plate, it

So so cute! Little hidden Thai spot in Portsmouth! We were doing a New England tour and stopped here by happenstance. They were closing for break between lunch and dinner and were kind enough to seat us and serve us quickly.

Thai iced tea, a little sweet but good
Crunchy or Crispy Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp never had anything like it and the flavor was outstanding!
Pineapple fried rice was a little bland but moist and traditional and went really well with the Crispy Pad Thai

Large seating area, a bar with plenty of options and very clean. Service was great too!

Crispy Duck was perfect. The seafood pat Sha was beautiful and so fresh. Everything was. Definitely a hidden gem.

Best Duck noodle soup in the states. My all time favorite. The broth is just right and the duck is flavorful.

Fresh, fresh, fresh. Great apps, created with the freshest of organics. Yes. The staff is friendly and extremely attentive. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. Shrimp Loves Scallops was especially good. We were surprised there was no soy sauce on the table but enjoyed indulging in the spirits. We will definitely be back to try new items!

This is some of the best Thai food I've had in my life. When I got there the restaurant was closed due to covid but they were taking walk up orders. Within 10 minutes my food was made and I was able to walk out with it. This entire box of noodles was only $10 which is a steal if you ask me. The flavor was amazing it was spicy, but not overpowering. And it was very filling. This is a great place to pick up a quick lunch if you're in the area! I'm so happy I stumbled upon this place.

Food: Not bad, but not great either. Good. Definitely not spicy the way we like. "Extra extra spicy" translated in 3-peppers it seems.
Again, good, but... I had high hopes.

It's been a while since I've left a review, but this place was exceptional. I've never actually been to the restaurant. We got the food delivered to our hotel. The food was really just perfectly delicious. The order and delivery service was friendly and faultless. I definitely recommend 5 Thai Bistro. We had Drunken Noodle, Red Curry, and Thai fried rice. My favorite was the Red Curry, but everything was so good.

Best Thai food in the area! We have been looking for a Thai place. The food here was excellent. I got the Green Curry, which had just the right level of spice for me. My husband had the deluxe Pad Thai and my daughter got the Masaman Curry. All were wonderful!
They have 'soy nuggets' as a protein option for vegetarians. They were delicious! I'll definitely get them again.

The food was 5 stars but the service was slow because they only had 2 server for the whole restaurant and they also had the same 2 servers working the bar, door (hosting) and take out. Seriously, the owners need to stop it and hire more people because you are clearly making a profit. People were just sitting there and waiting to order, wait for appetizers, waiting for their checks ...etc.
The restaurant was full at 7pm on a Monday evening, my guess is that's just the holiday post shopping rush but that's certainly no excuse to only have 2 servers working the whole front of the house

Very happy with this Thai restaurant! This was the closest restaurant to where we were standing in the Halloween Parade so we decided to go for it and it went great. The interior seems to have undergone a renovation according to old photos and I was impressed with the quality wooden tables and booths and the whole bar display, quite nice!

We ordered Tom Yum, Kra-tong Thong Crispy Cups for appetizers and they were delicious and fresh. Happy to see oyster mushroom in the soup and the crispy cups had a beautiful presentation. For entrees were ordered Drunken Noodles and Deluxe Pad Thai, both were
