IKKO Japanese Sushi & Steak House

Made a reservation for 6 people for New Year’s Eve, the place was PACKED, the staff sat us within 15 min. The food was excellent, hostess and waitress very nice, hilarious hibachi chef, great drinks and great service!! Very impressed for how busy it was. Best sushi I’ve had in the area. Highly recommend.

To go is awful. Not only did I stand in the lobby for 10 minutes without ever being acknowledged, despite the manager walking by several times. But 10 minutes later after being acknowledged, I’m given my food and an entire menu item isn’t even on the receipt slip. It then takes another 5-7 minutes to be acknowledged to fix that ‘random’ mistake. At the very least, the manager did get the problem fixed, and still, the food tastes good. The taste has to be the only reason I ever go back.

Place was inviting and delicious. Entertainment was fun and memorable. Bartender on new year's was very friendly and handled the situations perfectly

I enjoyed my Sushi, it’s hard to find great sushi around New England, but this is a great place to start. I wasn’t able to finish the rest of the food (food was very filling, but it works well for left overs).

The girl who was in charge of waitressing our table was very polite and respectful. She did her job very skillfully and punctually.

I went here today for dinner and the food was alright but the wait time for the sushi was absolutely horrible! The pad Thai came after 15 or 20 minutes but the sushi took about an hour to come. We only ordered 2 maki As and when it came, it looked like this (photo below). There was barely any rice on the sushi and it was so sloppily made. I think Ikko’s dover branch is much better and at least it won’t take an hour for the sushi to come out there.

Great food and atmosphere! Cook was a delight. Some of my fiancées meat looked a little raw.. so he just didn’t eat it. The drinks are a little expensive, and the bill was $100 for two meals and two drinks. The waitress barely checked up on us, i ended up ordering sushi after the meal cause we only ordered drinks and the meal, she gave the drinks to us then never saw her again. So it’s definitely expensive but I’d say it somewhat worth the trip. I’m only giving it 4 stars due to the fact that the cook was such a funny guy! And the meal was delicious!

This place is really tasty! We got some sushi and a couple appetizers and some martinis. It was all really good. We really like the scorpion king roll.
