My wife and I attended class today with our daughter for the first time and we where very impressed with the blend of athleticism, self discipline and emphasis on learning.
Our kids have been in his school for the past 10 yrs. He does a great job teaching martial arts, coping skills, and respect for others. Our youngest 2 just started last year. He has an open year for parental concerns about there child and tailors the class to help each individual child grow at their own pace.

Columbia TKD is an excellent, family-focused martial arts studio. There have been so many benefits for both me and my family, that I am sad that I didn't start before.
For starters, as an adult, it has been a great experience to meet great people, and get back in shape. Very happy with my progress under the Masters, and think that they are some of the most well-rounded in the area.
The best part, however, is seeing my 7 year old go from being very shy and apprehensive, to more confident and focused than she ever has been. Her growth from this experience has been irreplaceable. Not only is

While searching for an after school activity for my daughter, I was hitting road blocks as far as what I could afford, and schedule. My daughter received an invitation from a classmate to visit Columbia Tae Kwon Do. She said friends from school go here and asked if she could check it out. Conveniently located on 9&20 in East Greenbush. Different class times to work with your schedule. Cost so far is $40 for uniform and 4 weeks of classes.
Master Yun is very good with kids, and will take the time to make sure even my lil white belt understands what to do. Teaches kids in a positive manner,

After our child took classes through their introductory package, we booked his birthday party there. Our little guy was very excited to celebrate his birthday there since he'd gone to a friend's party there and loved it. He also enjoyed the classes there.
We paid the deposit and called to confirm the party a few days beforehand. Unfortunately, they stood us up and we were left outside the locked studio with melting cupcakes, bewildered guests and- worst of all- a sobbing six year old.
Worse still, the owner of the studio did not handle things as I would expect after such a mix
