I proudly serve home buyers in the south central Wisconsin area, providing the reassurance and protection you need when purchasing or selling a home. I am fully licensed, bonded, and insured and a member of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors. My business is locally owned and operated and I support other local businesses.
The basic home inspection is a thorough visual examination of the structural and operating components of a home from the basement to the roof. Inspections typically take between two to three hours and include a detailed review and a written report. We encourage you to accompany us during the inspection to learn more about the property and to ask questions as they arise.

Matt was thorough and did a great job at a reasonable cost. He fielded questions, gave a couple demonstrations for me, and completed the inspection in reasonable time. Just make sure, if you want radon testing, ask in advance and dedicate 48 hours for the device to test.

Matt is professional and friendly when doing home inspections, but that's all the more I can say about the quality of his work. I relied on Google reviews to choose this company, so I'm paying it forward. I do not recommend
Matt failed to notice 3 major warning signs in my home, all of which had clearly visible signs.
1. Both upstairs bathrooms had pretty significant discoloration of the vinyl flooring around the toilet. This indicated that both toilets were leaking water. Luckily, I learned by calling the previous owners that there was a past leak that had been repaired.
2. We had water in

Matt seemed very professional and thorough during and after the inspection. Among the many things Matt missed was improperly installed electrical work under a deck (screened in porch). A fan that was installed in the porch not using treated lumber. He also missed a deck door that was rotten and the frame is broken (looks like it was broken into). Matt noted one shingle was not sealed down properly and recommend it be glued down. After purchase more shingles blew off. Roofer noted that the shingles were not properly installed and will only last a few more years. It would have been helpful if Matt

Matt was super helpful and answered any and all of my questions about the home we are getting ready to buy. He showed up early as to limit contact because of the pandemic. When we showed up he was super friendly and DANG was he thorough. The report he sent us was highly detailed and even made suggestion notes on what the next steps were needed for certain items.

After two bad experiences with home inspections, I was reluctant to hire another one. Matt has completely restored my belief in the value and importance of hiring a qualified inspector. He was professional from beginning to end. It was obvious that he was very experienced, uncovering several issues with the house we are buying, and having an educated estimate at the cost and hassle factor of repairing work that needs to be done. Matt was referred to me by my realtor when we bought our house and I'm so glad we used him! He did a thorough inspection from top to bottom and the report he gave us was so detailed.
