I wish I could give this company zero stars. Currently dealing with a mold problem in my apartment in which we are being required to vacate our property. Compass has not responded to any calls or emails regarding this problem. The home owner had to come yesterday and she was very surprised as she had not heard anything from compass about this, even though we've been sending emails and calling for the past month. Our neighbor above us is the only one giving us information. The contractors have no way to get into the apartment while we are vacated and Compass has been completely silent during this

I don't usually have good experiences with management companies, but after almost 4 years of renting from Compass PM I have to say I'm really impressed. They are competitively priced, during the worst of Covid they cancelled or reduced late fees, and all my maintenance requests have been handles quickly by great professionals. They're a pleasure to talk to and easy to contact.

I have rented from 5 other landlords/leasing companies, and have never had such a difficult time getting someone to answer. Being their tenant leaves you feeling ignored and unimportant.
Months into our lease, there was a job opportunity that required us to move. As my husband was working long hours, I took lead in inquiring about ending the lease or finding out the process to sublease. I emailed twice and did not receive a reply. This company is very unprofessional and hard to get a hold of. I've lived at one of their rentals for a while, and have talked to prior tenants and they have had the same issue. I've called all the numbers possible and Mario was the only one to get back to me within a weeks time. Tom got back to me once and he's not even my manager. Gina is apparently my manager and I've left her multiple voicemails and emails and have had no response. It's kind of hard to run a business and get paid if you aren't communicating with your tenants. I would not recommend this company, nor Gina as your manager.

I reported a leaking roof and damaged ceiling to them a month ago and there has been no communication about the still unresolved issue in the last two weeks. I had to threaten to withhold rent for habitability issues before they had a contractor call me. I'm trying to be reasonable and if there was any communication explaining why it was taking so long I would understand but they refuse to respond to phone calls, emails, or text messages to the property manager of my rental unit.

I have been renting from Compass the past 7 years. I've personally never had any issues && would recommend Compass to others. My work orders are always completed in a timely manner. Everytime I have an issue or concern, it always gets resolved. I've dealt with many property managements before and Compass is by far the best.

We have been renting from Compass for almost 2 years. Getting ahold of anyone there in nearly impossible, weather it be by phone, email or in person. The latest problem they have chosen to ignore (among many) is the fact that our A/c in our "luxury "apartment has been broken for 3 weeks. I highly recommend going through a different leasing company.

They never answer the phone, always always always goes to voicemail and they respond with an email avoiding your question if it's something they don't want to talk about. I would caution people to stay away from this company based on the experience I had in helping an immigrant family find a rental. The first property they looked at was nice and they were told it was $950 a month. After paying the application fee & deposit they were told it was really $1100 per month even though the 4 of us all heard the agent say $950. Because of the higher amount they decided to look at a larger property and were told it included a garage which they were happy to hear. As an amendment to this, they changed my locks EARLY against our verbal phone agreements, and charged me $300 for "excessive cleaning fee, including appliances," among other miscalculations. Out of a $675 deposit, I got $226 back. I left this place in need of normal cleaning, it was EMPTY, outside of their nasty fridge that they wouldn't repair (AND it had my last remaining belongings inside, as I had communicated that there was one more trip before I was turning the keys in). In fact, the stove, oven, sink, etc were SPOTLESS. Compass Property Management is HIGHWAY ROBBERY at
