Services
It's animals helping people and people helping animals. We know that some kids, some adults will tell an animal something before they will tell an adult in a traditional office environment. Ten years ago, we set out to rescue, rehabilitate and provide animal sanctuary for the worst-of-the-worst farm animal abuse and neglect cases.
With our one-of-a-kind PTSD treatment program, we are able to help facilitate healing for both humans and animals who have suffered trauma. We serve a very specific clientele that has not responded to traditional counseling services. The combination of counseling facilitated by Licensed Professional Counselors or LPC interns along with the nurturing of our sanctuary animals helps lead the client to healing.
Bob's House of Hope is the first non-profit safe house in the country for male survivors of commercial sexual exploitation, also known as sex trafficking. We serve young men ages 18+, and are the only residential facility to include Ranch Hands Rescue's innovative Equine and Animal Assisted Counseling intervention.
Bob Williams is the Founder and CEO of Ranch Hands Rescue. After suffering a stroke in 2007, Bob decided to retire from Motorola. After a year of rehabilitation, he decided to start a not-for-profit organization that would save animals and help people. Landon graduated from the University of North Texas with a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a focus on trauma and crisis intervention.
We are so thankful for our sponsors and partners. Our mission to help abused animals and people heal has resonated with a diverse group of donors from all corners of the community, and their support is a part of our lifeline. We know the work we do is important, but sometimes the real heros are the ones that show up with a truckful of feed or a helping hand, and we are unendingly grateful.
