We are proud to say that Ambrose Funeral Homes is currently one of the few family-owned and operated funeral homes regularly servicing Arbutus, Lansdowne and the surrounding communities. Our funeral home was founded by Joseph T. Ambrose, Jr. and his mother Stella Mae Ambrose in 1936. The business began at Cross and Dexter Street in the "Pig Town" section of South Baltimore.
Today, more people are recognizing that planning a funeral in advance of need demonstrates love and consideration toward their family members. It is a thoughtful decision that reduces the stress of indecision and uncertainty when death occurs. If you choose to prepay for your funeral your prepaid funeral account will be protected by the Maryland State Board of Morticians and Funeral Director's Family Security Trust Fund.
