My family has been going to Dr Hume for several years with positive results. Starting with a tough to fit crown and a referral from my Grandmother (a tough cookie). He and his team have now worked on my whole family from parents and husband to kids. They are always professional, welcoming, friendly and fun - as much as any dentist office can be. I can’t thank enough Dr. Ted Hume and staff for taking care of me. Super nice, friendly and polite and always accommodating me. His staff always made me feel so comfortable coming in for my treatments.
Dr. Hume has done a few implants and I am extremely happy with the results. Finally I have a good dentist!!!

Dr. Hume and his staff are the best of the best in the DFW area. I had been to 3 different offices in the past 4 years before finding them, and I wish I would have sooner. His front office is kind and welcoming, the dental hygienists are professional and friendly. And above all else, this is not an office that tries to nickel and dime you. Dr. Hume is very conservative in his approach and will only perform procedures necessary vs other offices that are very "cavity happy." I can't thank them enough for the exceptional care and comfort. I 100% recommend them to anyone and love supporting

What can I say, I love Dr. Hume and his staff! A relationship with your dentist is akin to that of a spouse in my opinion. I trust Dr. Hume. Dr. Hume has excellent bedside manner and explains things to me in simplistic terms. I'm currently paying 100% out of pocket because I'm on a DMO plan that they don't accept; however, peace of mind when it comes to my dental health is worth the extra expense. I called Dr. Hume's office about a dental emergency recently and they fit me in right away. This is one of the many examples of why Dr. Hume is my forever dentist.

I've been looking for a dentist. The dentist I had for over 25 years retired, and I've been looking for someone to replace him. I had an appointment this morning, and I was very impressed with the friendly, professional office staff. I can honestly say, "I have found my next dentist!" I've been a patient for about 10 years. Everyone at the office is warm, friendly and professional. The office runs smoothly; my appointments have always started promptly. The hygienists I've had have always done a good job, being gentle and thorough and not rushing or seeming to be stressed. They remember me each time so our conversations pick up where we last left off. Ted is a hoot; a former world-champion chili cook and barbecue aficionado. He likes his patients as people, not just as mouths or sources of revenue. He's a good guy. I'm very happy there. .

Dr Hume and his staff are incredible. After only a couple visits, the receptionist and staff knows us. They're great with kids as well as my wife an I. Overhead TVs provide a good distraction when the hygienist or dentist are working.
Dr Hume legitimately cares about his patients and knows how to make them feel comfortable. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Not sure if anyone uses Yelp for dentists but if you are reading this and need a new dentist, Dr. Hume is your guy. I live in Allen and work in Plano but still drive down to 75 and Walnut Hill to go to him. I have also gotten good feedback from everyone I have referred to him over the years. Unlike most dentists, he does not like hurting people and goes out of his way to make sure there is no unnecessary pain or discomfort when doing procedures (he did a crown for me). His hygienist is also top notch.
