Poseidon Greek Restaurant & Outdoor Lounge has made his new home in South Beach and now hungry diners who crave the fabulous flavors of Greek, Mediterranean and seafood cuisine can check out this new eatery. At Poseidon, the chefs follow Hippocrates recommendation that "food be thy medicine", by crafting healthy dishes rather than making popsicles from cough syrup.
They sprinkle their recipes with krocus kozanis, a golden Greek spice, and infuses meals with oregano, rosemary, and thyme culled from the Taygetos Mountain of Kalamata. They also import fresh fish from the Aegean Sea before brushing salmon with extra virgin olive oil and tossing pasta with a medley of shellfish.

I regret not eating here sooner. I've lived on the beach for more than a decade and always had the impression that this place was some sort of tourist trap. I had never been more wrong about a restaurant.

The food was good, but the service was a different story. We had a group of 8 go, and the waiter aggressively tried to upsell each person individually, even though we all had already picked our food out. They brought us the wrong bottle of wine (wine was good, but wrong bottle) and also brought the wrong cocktail to one of us after convincing her to try this amazing cocktail. The waiter was fairly inattentive, and the person bringing out the food brought the wrong orders to the table twice only to take them back. We will not be going back.

The perfect place to be! The quality of the food is excellent and there are may dishes to choose!!! and the prices reasonable.!!! The people who works there very friendly and the environment elegant.

Came here with friends and enjoyed every bit of this restaurant, from the friendly service to the delicious food. Everything taste fresh, the fried octopus was my favorite, and it was my frist time having it and did not dissapoint , just make sure to paired it with a nice white wine to make it just right. This was definitely a spot to enjoy with good company. The atmosphere was chill and welcoming. We will definitely be back again soon.

I went here pre workout and had the Florida Grouper and a shrimp appetizer that had cotton candy on the top of it. I haven't had cotton candy in double digit years. Anyway the food was good. The 19% added to the check doesn't leave much incentive to do good service. I had to walk to the waiter and get my full order in instead of the reverse. He got the initial appetizer. Anyway the restaurant looks nice and the food is good. I do recommend
