Services
Built in 1927 by local owners, the Bergonian (now the Mayflower Park Hotel) was one of Seattle's finest hotels, and now 94 years later, it is still locally owned and is still an important part of our community. When we bought the hotel in 1973, it was not our intention to become as totally involved as we did.
Over the years, the Mayflower Park Hotel has been privileged to be a participant in the major and minor events of people's lives. To our guests, many of whom have returned to us time and time again, we are deeply indebted. A hotel is about people. It has been a privilege to be caretakers of this lovely and very special hotel for the past 46 years.

I liked the hotel, my mains down fall was the heating system would click on and off every 10 minutes and it wasn't quiet and I'm a light sleeper. Didn't get much sleep. My neighbors were loud throughout the night 😩. Enjoyed my meal at Oliver's. I was a bit uneasy with a staffer constantly playing with his mask and rubbing and touching his nose and wearing his mask down. I was ready to walk out. Breakfast was good. Overall the location was great and close to everywhere we wanted to go by foot.

After MANDATORY valet parking, just received cold-like symptoms after staying here. Know why? Because people entering your car standing outside in the rain shouldn't be imposed. This place is hypocritical. It requires a vaccination to eat INSIDE, oh but OUTSIDE any dude who's working valet can get his hands all over your steering wheel and shifter.
Makes no sense. Thanks for the germs Mayflower. Ironic.

Location was great, close to the public transit. I also felt very safe since there was usually a doorman. The room was fine; housekeeping came daily, which I appreciated. Most hotels now want you to “request” for housekeeping, and they only do the minimum.
My only complaints were that the walls were thin. I heard people talking loudly, especially in the hallway. And there’s no microwave for guest to use. The front desk said I could rent one out for $10 per night. That just seemed like a greedy tactic and an unclassy move on Mayflower’s part.

Remember the Heat Dome Hell that descended upon the Pacific NW? Well it felt like the effing center of the sun and I was able to snag one of the last remaining greater Seattle reservations for an air con getaway back on 6/27/21 to 6/29/21. I tried as far north to Lynnwood and Bothell, east to Bellevue, south towards the airport, and west to the Kitsap Peninsula. I'm recalling this as I belatedly post this five months later to the day.
Now why would a local resident want to stay at the Mayflower Park Hotel in downtown Seattle? Well my townhouse gets both AM/PM sun and being well insulated

This was a beautiful and historic hotel. The lobby was majestic. The room was comfortable and SUPER clean. Not only were the beds comfortable, but even the couch and chairs were comfy. The room stayed nice and cool all night, and I slept like a baby. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Seattle!

This was the perfect hotel for our stay. The centrally located hotel is steps away from shopping, restaurants and a few blocks from the Space Needle. It's also located about 800 feet from the light rail, making transfers to/from SeaTac airport super convenient! We had a beautiful room that was really quiet and offered a great seating area which was really comfortable. We came from Michigan and the time change took a lot of adjusting to, so the room was well used. The beds are really comfortable and the temperature in the room was perfect. We traveled with our two adult kids and the room was

Why fix something if it isn't broken? I am all for trying new spots every time I go to a new city. However, I lucked out on finding the perfect accommodation for me. Mayflower is classy, professional, attractive, clean, and everything I hope for in a home away from home. Even if it weren't in the perfect location in Seattle (like it is), I would still give them my business. Being a young traveler, Im often not taken seriously. However, Tim at the counter was nothing but pleasant and professional. An absolute dream this hotel is, highly recommended.

Another hotel expense to escape the harmony hushers that reside beside me at home. I shouldn't be paying rent and for nights away for peace and quiet but that's just how things have been going. Luckily, Mayflower Park Hotel was a great choice for sound rest and relaxation.
Check in was easy breezy, our room was gorgeous and SO spacious! We had a great sitting area with two chairs a table and sofa, wet bar, and more. Had we been traveling with friends or family this room would have been perfect for entertaining or hanging out in if needed.
I will note, this has nothing to do with the

I can't say enough nice things about this amazing hotel. We took an Alaskan cruise from Seattle and my family decided to stay here both at the beginning and end of our trip. The hotel is gorgeous. The rooms were huge both times - queen suite and deluxe queen. Both rooms had two bathrooms which was FANTASTIC for 3 women to share. :) Ladies, you know what I mean! The beds were comfy and the AC worked well. We also had some amazing breakfasts at Andaluca. I highly recommend the turkish waffle and pancakes. So delicious! Taylor kindly offered my sister a round of drinks at their hotel bar Oliver

We found this little gem by chance when we were looking for a hotel in the heart of Seattle. I'm considering cancelling the hotel we have reserved at the end of our vacation just so we can stay here again. The Mayflower is located right by the LINK, making it easy to get to from the airport. It's within walking distance of pretty much anything you would want to do or see in Seattle. You can walk less than a mile and be at the waterfront, Pike's Place, Seattle Center, and more. If you enjoy newer, more impersonal hotels, this probably isn't for you. If you're here

I stayed here at the Mayflower for three nights recently. It was a very good stay and the staff members were all super friendly and helpful. It's an older classy hotel with charm.
The door service was prompt, the ladies and gents at the counter were full of good information, and the hotel, although an older building, was well kept and maintained. My only concern was that I stayed in a non-smoking room but every time I entered, I could get that slight distant sense of smoke, but it would wear off after a while after I got acclimated.
The location is perfect however, being right around

I live in Seattle but during our recent 4 day heat wave, I booked a room at The Mayflower Hotel.
My stay was splendid. All of the staff at the hotel and Oliver's bar were extremely nice and accommodating. Even the valet's working in 105 degree weather still had a smiles on their face.
My room was very cozy and the bed was amazing! Best nights sleep I have had in awhile. Air conditioners worked great in my room and the fitness center.
The food was okay. I felt for the bartender and waitress in the bar, the air conditioner was not working in Oliver's the 1st couple nights and

So we checked in a few days ago and I'm amending to my previous post, Ive extended my stay TWICE! Im in the rumored "haunted" room and I can honestly say nothing super odd has happened. Couple little things but nothing to terrify. The place is beautiful and the antiquity is something to crave. The staff are so amazing and cordial, they even personally signed a card for us. Robert is so knowledgeable about the hotels history and took me back up to the 12th floor stairway where a sign by the old manager from 1939 hung for what I think was the old penthouse. My boo and I stayed at the Mayflower for a quick weekend getaway in Seattle. The location was absolutely perfect. Walking distance to Pike Place and right next door to the monorail and light rail.
Inside the hotel was a restaurant which was open with social distancing in place, but we didn't end up trying it. Our room was nice and had a decent view. It felt very clean and they provided us with hand sanitizer as well.
We had a great stay and would definitely come back again.

This is a nice hotel with very friendly, polite and helpful staff.
It's a 90 year old hotel, which reeks of old tradition, sort of a throwback to a classic era, and seems nostalgic in that way.
The room we had was quite small, no frills nor furniture other than the basics.
It's central to the Westlake downtown area, easily accessible by public transit or short inexpensive ride services to most points of metropolitan Seattle.
