Nice little hidden gem. Tiny bar indoor an outdoor seating. Wonderful bartender very friendly. Food is good. Tried a few different things. Could more sauce on the mussels and linguine and also more BBQ on the ribs. Flavor is there cooked perfect sauce is delicious just next time I'm order an extra side of sauce for it.

I'm Legit afraid to review this bc I don't want anyone else to come haha This food is the best I've had in a long time. Just walked in and had to give it props. The seafood tasted like it jumped outta the ocean into my mouth. The ribs are the best ribs I think I've ever had. The drinks were tall and tasty. The waitress was perfection. Kind, funny, not fake or overly polite just so thoughtful and available. I could not have had a better dining experience.

Big yes. This sandwich is delicious. And the company while waiting there was awesome too. Went on a whim. Will be back.
P.s. Paula I was telling my neighbor about you and the nice way you handled the other customer that came through while I was there, and turns out he knows you from when he was younger, and had good things to say about you as well! Cheers to you👍

Haven’t been to this restaurant in about two years when I lived in Cherry Hill I went there just about every other weekend I know the owners great people great environment always clean but what I love about this restaurant is I am Italian and this is an Italian restaurant and the way they prepare their food it’s just like my grandmother used to do it.

Craving Italian food for lunch. Ordered for delivery since it's COVID19 still around. They were fast and food was surprisingly delicious. The lunch menu was very reasonable and big portion too. Had the linguini clam with white sauce, hubby had the chicken parmigiana and girlfriend enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich.
Only missing is Parmesan cheese packet which they forgot to put in our order.

Small, intimate bar/restaurant. The staff makes me feel like family and I have only went a few times. The best mix of quality BBQ and quality Italian food! I love the BBQ Ribs and Chicken, also love the Chicken Marsala and Eggplant Parm. They have tasty sandwiches and salads if you want to eat lite. The music on the week days isn't the best but I go there for the food, not the music. The food makes it all worth it.

Stopped in. Saturday afternoon. Clean nice place. Food excellent. Had gnocchi and meatballs. Good bread. Excellent service. My waitress Linda was awesome. About to have coffee. Would highly recommend. I will definitely stop back again.
Only thing the waitress was honest sometimes at night it's a bit crowded. However with food this good I can understand that and wait some

Want to feel like you are eating Sunday dinner at Grandma's house , well this is it. From the moment you walk in the door you feel like family. The restaurant is small and cozy and the sauce was home made. My sausage rigatoni was some of the best Italian food I ever had. The drinks were strong and superb. For dessert we had the homemade rice pudding which was creamy and delicious and melted in your mouth. Dessert was enough to share.

I had prize-winning ribs, which were indeed very tasty, falling-off-the-bone tender, and very nicely flavored - neither too spicy nor too bland, neither too sweet nor too acid. The crowd was very compatible with us - we did not feel like the oldest people in the room (nor the youngest), the waitress was homey and cute in her own way, and even the specially brewed beer was quite to our taste. The Eggplant Bruschetta starter was toasted crisply and flavored fully, Linda enjoyed her somewhat spicy crab cakes, and we saved enough for lunch (or possibly dinner) today, leaving room for dessert, which

This place is kind of a hoot. It is a classic South Philly neighborhood bar/restaurant. Right out of central casting! Interesting mish mash of menu items; ribs, muscles, chicken parm., etc. That keeps it interesting.
Had the chicken parm for take out. It was solidly good. Nice tangy red sauce, good bite to the cheese.
Would be fun to eat in though and absorb the atmosphere that only a place like this can offer! Give it a go.

My boyfriend told me about Bomb Bomb in late February and we've already been back 3 times. I'm not really one to go back to the same place multiple times, especially within the same month.
Every time we've gone has been better and better. We've only gotten the same two things. I get the full rack of ribs and he gets the chicken parm. We share. The ribs slide off the bone and melt in your mouth. The sauce (both the gravy and the bbq) is incredible. I wish I had pictures but without fail, I forget all about digital technology when that rack comes out ;)

3 star rating shouldn't really be construed negatively in this case. The place is a blast and is fun to visit (quite crowded though), with a small bar when you first enter, and then most tables in the next room over. I mainly recommend you come here for the seafood (especially mussels, but other seafood items are good too) and ribs. Otherwise, the Italian food is OK, but nothing exceptional by South Philly standards. Best items are probably chicken or eggplant parm from the Italian side.
Service is friendly, but seems a bit harried and servers are rushing around. I have heard good things

This place was quite the trip, I'll tell ya. Before coming here, I heard some opinions on the place. One person told me, "Food is great, service is terrible." Another person said, "It's red sauce slop and everyone calls you 'hun'." So I wasn't surprised when we walked into this tiny corner joint on a Saturday night (with an 8:00 reservation, mind you), and weren't seated until after 8:30. Right off the bat, I should've realized what it was gonna be like when me and my 2 guests entered through the bar and stood, very tightly and awkwardly

Stopped in here after reading rib reviews and I gotta tell you I was skeptical, but I left with an appreciation for this place! Small bar area, at first I thought I walked into someone's living room. Definitely South Philly through and through inside from the convo's the customers and the bartender. All very nice people! Now to the important part, the half rack of ribs were fall off the bone, great meat to bone ratio, charred just right and the house BBQ sauce was perfect with the meat. Not sure about the rest of the menu, but you CANNOT go wrong with the ribs from this place!

Came here because of the "crab spaghetti" article on philly mag and honestly wasn't that impressed. the crab spaghetti wasn't flavorful at all; the sauce was very bland, there wasn't that much crab meat and the noodles were overcooked.
the star dish here is definitely the ribs, they were really well cooked and full of flavor. the service here was also very good, our apps almost came out right away and our waitress was very kind. it's definitely a casual dining experience and not that big of a dining area.
one complaint that i had was that the women's bathroom

We decided to stop in and try this place out before a show at the Wells Fargo center.
Reservations were easy and the place was close enough for a quick cab ride.
The restaurant is small and cozy.
We ordered bruschetta as an appetizer and it was very tasty. Loved it.
My friend ordered the spaghetti and crabcake. It's not a usual combination but she said it was very good.
I ordered the BBQ chicken and rib special. I was expecting chicken breast and ribs... It was dark meat. I was disappointed but when I read the menu it never said breast so my fault. I just never had dark meat

Came here for dinner with my best friend before heading out for a comedy show. Original plan was for a place we usually go to, but he said he had heard some great things about Bomb Bomb and when I called from the road, staff said come on in!
I wasn't feeling for BBQ, but they also have some bangin' seafood and Italian dishes. We started off with some roasted red peppers, sharp provolone and prosciutto. This was gone very quickly because it was so good. For entrees, my friend had the crab gravy with spaghetti, and I went with the Chioppino - Scallops, shrimp, mussels, and clams.
