The Union Apartments are a great place to live. I feel safe and the building is secure. The other residents are nice. The unit itself is Comfortable, Modern and Luxurious. I hear minimal noise from neighbors, Which comes only from the hallways, not through the neighboring walls. I don’t hear people above me. The Staff is wonderful and helpful. I love the location, it’s very convenient to local points of interest and the light rail. The water pressure is amazing. Big windows provide a good amount of daylight throughout the day. I definitely recommend checking The Union out to be your new Home

Megan, Allegra and Juan did great with fast turnaround on my maintenance request.

Juan, the primary maintenance technician, is very personable and always goes above and beyond when any repairs are needed.
Thanks Team Union!!

I’ve rented at the Union since March. The location, while central, is honestly pretty… dangerous. The Denny’s a block away has two armed security guards on duty at all times.
To put it in perspective, when I tell people I live in the the Lloyd district, I usually get a nice long cringe-related react.
Now let’s talk about the “pet friendly” aspect. Yes, they allow pets, however, walking your pet in this area past dark is an experience you probably wouldn't want to repeat— even though you will probably have to do this every single day you live here. I’ve asked for a small dog relief

Unfortunately, I don't know what it's like to live here. But as a potential applicant, I greatly appreciated the respect they showed for my time by notifying me that their openings had changed before I invested resources in touring apartments that were no longer available. I wish other apartment buildings were as polite and responsive.

Megan is the best! She makes the experience of living here so comfortable. She is always helpful and interested in the residents. I always feel comfort in my choice of home after every time we talk.

The staff has always been so kind and the people who live here are friendly! I remember when we first moved in last summer and the customer service we received was outstanding. We were brand new to Portland and just learning how to get around. We actually got to Portland the day before we moved in. Our community assistant met us an hour before her shift started and helped us get settled in after signing the lease. Since then, we've had nothing but positive experiences with everyone in the building. Very thankful to have chosen an amazing place to live right after we got out of college at the UO

I love living here, it has been one of the best decisions in my life. I mainly moved here because it is so close to the all MAX + Streetcar. If you chose to not have a car like me, I recommend this place. I also enjoy not living downtown but living across the bridge from downtown. The staff is really nice as well.

Visited a friend here today for the first time this weekend.. I've gone past this place a bunch (as has any Portlander who rides MAX) but now that I've gotten a look around inside it's very nice!
Most people think the location is the only selling point (it gets brought up too much) but even if this place was very far away and had no Transit access, I would still think it was a nice building!

This is a revised review after time elapsed: I am now approaching year 3 here. This complex has gone seriously downhill fast. It is a shame for a more recently built complex in the Lloyd district. I did not tour before I rented (moving from CA) and then, got lazy for year 2 to move. It is advertised as "luxury" which is likely false advertisement because the first floor main entrance is modern and clean; however, enter virtually any side door the first smell you get is urine. Go up further to any level (minus the one walkway they take you on a tour of) and the carpets are absolutely filthy

Been living here for about 3 months and we love it. The staff is great and they keep the building up well. Neighbors are nice and respectful. It is a literal dream come true to have a Starbucks right down stairs! Great rooftop bar right across the street too. Being this close to transit is great and the apartments themselves are lovely--I actually want to keep my apartment clean lol

I moved here in September of 2019. The complex is awesome. Eve, Vlad and Megan are always willing to help! The apartment also just got lockers for packages, so it is super convenient to pick them up on your own time. The facilities are always clean. Also, the building has great security.
I never have any issues with noises as the walls are pretty thick as well. 5/5.

The Union is phenomenal.
Conveniently located almost directly on top of the most commonly traveled MAX lines in the city, it's a commuter's dream. The building is clean, carefully attended, and staffed with some of the most helpful and attentive folks an apartment resident could ask for. At first glance the pricing looks on par for the area, but when you consider the convenience of the location and see the quality of the units, it's almost too good to be true.
I get up every morning, go down three floors to the gym, come back up and watch the sun rise through floor-to-ceiling windows, and walk

I recently moved into this building! Everyone in the leasing office is extremely friendly and helpful! I had a few minor things happen with move in and they were so on top of It and got everything handle within the next day if not the same day. For being a good size building I never hear my neighbors and it's a great central location. I would highly recommend this building.

I have lived and worked in 38 states and leased over 100 Apartments and this Apartment, The Union, is in my Top 5. One of the pluses is the Manager and assistant Manager "Get It". I have left my keys and needed information and always found ways a cheerful staff even after hours. The common room on the 2nd floor has every channel and huge 4K. In just 3 or 4 months the new 14 story Hyatt across the way will open and this area will be quite the entertainment area with a great Train station just 2 blocks from Moda. There will be many new services opening up here and ot far from "

My wife and I have lived at The Union since August 2018. Overall, we're very pleased with our experience here, but there are a few things you should pay attention to if you're looking to rent.

First, the positives. The staff here is uniformly excellent. Megan and her team right a tight (and polite) ship, and cleaning and maintenance personnel keep the apartment in good shape and respond to requests quickly. The Union is a newer apartment, so everything is in great shape. There's a nice variety of floor plans, great locked bike rooms on every floor, a nice (if small) gym, and even

We have lived here since 2016. The apartments have been nothing but wonderful. The staff is courteous and helpful at all times and goes above and beyond always. Most recently they helped with our recent engagement and played a key role in helping my fiancé pull it off! Whenever we need something fixed it's tended to in a timely manner, the common areas are always spotless, and the office always keeps our packages safe! Smiling faces greet us and lots of adorable tails wag as our neighbors all around us enjoy the amenities the building offers. Everyone seems very friendly and there are lots

I have lived at The Union since November 2015. This is a great facility! Great location, reasonable rent, and the leasing office is open seven days per week which isn't too common. I've also gotten to meet quite a few residents over the years via fun resident events in the common room like bingo. Won some free gift cards and got free food!

We have had a very pleasant 2 years at The Union Apts. The staff keeps the facility very clean. It is important to know that The Union is right next to the under construction Hyatt Convention Hotel that will be completed in 2019. They may run a promotion as the noise and congestion from the hotel is severe. Please know you also have to deal with the Tri-met light rail train noise as well. Like everything there are pro's and con's but do not rent without seeing the property to ensure it is a good fit for you.

We moved in a couple weeks ago since they were doing a 2-month-free-rent promotion and the place is great. The appliances are nice and new and the building is very well secured (free bike lock rooms!), and the staff has been quite delightful; Eve has always been very attentive and responds quickly to any questions we have. The workout room is new and no weights are missing (yay!) and the common area is very nice. It's a nice, high quality apartment and worth looking into.

The one problem we have is that there isn't enough parking for the residents; we're currently on a waiting list

Pets:
Pet friendly (assuming your dog isn't massive and is a non aggressive breed). I have a large greyhound (66lbs) and the staff all love seeing him in the hallway. There's even a dog washing station on the first floor that I've used a few times.

Parking:
It's a little expensive but absolutely worth it in a city where breaking into cars is a popular sport. (The lot is in the basement) There's also tandem parking available for 2 car families looking to save a little money.

Apartment:
Came furnished with washer, dryer, dishwasher, stove, fridge, and microwave. Everything

I wanted to share my experience about living at The Union Apartments at 304 NE Multnomah Street. I hope this review helps you to consider this apartment complex especially if you are from out of town and are confused about location and management options. Given the newness of this complex, I wanted to give you a candid opinion to consider.

We have found the management staff to be very responsive and thoughtful. The Community Manager, Megan, is great at following up and taking care of things as soon as you report them. My husband is older and we asked if it was possible to have a secure railing
