BLAINE! He’s the best, I moved to multiple apartments but never seen like him, very kind! Very professional! Very nice! Very very quick to respond! He knows what he doing! Fantastic property manager! Very easy process! Very friendly! Avenue 5 are lucky to have him! Just honest review. I wish i could give him more than 5 stars. Thank you!

Generally clean, quiet, and well kept. Staffing and COVID have made some things a bit of a headache since moving in but nothing that isn’t pretty understandable. The building maintenance team keeps things around the building tidy as much as possible which is probably a feat given the location. Staff are always courteous if sometime hard to come across. Expecting that to level out as we enter 2022. We’ve gotten about exactly what we expected in a supremely convenient location.

After living at Sky3 for some time I noticed that my packages, as well as others, were missing. We would call the leasing office as well as stop by to check in and they would always be gone. At one point I saw the manager I believe, Tyler open a couple of packages and take them back upstairs! He’s a thief! That was the last straw and decided to move. The office staff was great, the main issue was the manager. He does not care about anyone but himself! Horrible attitude. Do not rent here! Stay away from this place!

While waiting to tour I witnessed a current resident that was very upset with the Manager, I believe his name was Taylor or Tyler and the way he handled the conversation was very unsettling, he lashed out on the resident and her son instead of calming her down. I immediately walked out and did not tour because if I start living at Sky3 I don't want to be treated the same way. Very dismissive and no compassion. I was only there for 5mins and Would not recommend to anyone.

Love Sky3 and everything it has to offer. I’ve been here since March and everyone has been so kind. Special shout-out to maintenance and Brian for always being on top of repairs. He always gets back to me within a day and actually lives here as well so we see each other in the halls often. Keep up the great work

Just wanted to leave a quick review. Personally I find the staff to be great and helpful. The neighborhood has suffered due to the pandemic and poor city handling, but obviously that isn’t the fault of Sky 3. I have had a few maintenance requests that were pretty large and I found Brian to be quick to respond and get my repairs started in a timely manner. He and Jacob worked around my schedule and were pleasant and fast which I appreciate. They both take time to say hello and pat my dog (which he loves) when I run into them in the building. As for management, past and present, I have always found

I've submitted a few too many work orders in the last month than I'd like to admit but the maintenance guys, Brian and Jacob, have responded timely to each of them. They've made sure to address all my questions and resolve the issue at hand. All the staff have been friendly and accommodating, which makes living here that much better!

I recently moved out of these apartments after over a year of living there. I will start out with the positive. They hired a new maintenance person, Bryan, towards the end of 2020 who truly does a wonderful job and is working to turn the property around. He fixed our dryer that had been broken for nearly a year under the previous maintenance staff and was always quick and prompt at responding to requests. I would give Bryan five stars because he works tirelessly and does a fantastic job. Other reviews complain about the maintenance in the building, but that issue has been resolved and now requests

I've lived at Sky3 since the building opened in 2017, and I see the Sky3 that I know in all the comments, positive and negative (except the one about the "scary" management). I'm posting today to compliment the maintenance staff. I just had two separate, unrelated service calls this week. Maintenance supervisor Brian and his assistant, George, did a great job on both. They arrived within an hour or two of each call and handled them perfectly. While they were here, I bugged them about a couple of other little things, which they took care of immediately, cheerfully, and effectively

The sky3 made the move in process extremely easy. Everything from touring the apartment to getting moved in, The team was extremely helpful in walking me through the process. Enrique did a wonderful job of showing me apartments that fit my budget and making sure I got an apartment that fit my lifestyle as well.
Sky3 is switching into new management so expect some great changes to come! The maintenance manager did a great job of getting the apartment ready to go before I moved in.
I absolutely love the neighborhood because you have the art museum right down the street

We had to purchase a dead bolt for our apartment because we were SCARED of the management here. Do yourself a favor and look up "Avenue 5" on the better business bureau's website.
Your packages got stolen? Well, your fault for not shipping them to an Amazon locker (even if your package was not from amazon......). Bike got stolen? Well, you chose to leave

I just moved into Sky3 this month, and wanted to post because of the negative reviews. First, you are living in downtown PDX and yah, we have a lot of homeless and drug users. It's a CITY. If you don't want to see or interact with the houseless or people that have life addictions, then don't live in the CITY! I've lived in Portland since 1995. It is what it is! By the way, addicts and the homeless are human beings so it won't hurt to say hi once in a while and give a dollar and a paper mask and a smile to our brothers and sisters of the earth. Don't be judgmental!

This place is a logistical nightmare. Moving in/out is basically impossible. The loading dock is shared with and Amazon drop off area and isn't available until 12:30 pm daily, and then people "reserve" it for the afternoon. So if you are planning on moving in with anything besides yourself, look elsewhere. The staff is completely unwilling to offer any solutions to this problem. The building was obviously really poorly planned.

Our main issue has to do with parking. When we were getting ready to rent this unit, we were told that parking was unavailable, but that the expectation was 1-2 months before a parking spot would become available.
Upon signing lease documents, we asked for clarification regarding the parking availability timeline. We were informed that we were #10 on the waiting list for parking and the wait would be many months. This was a shock to us as we had been told different. We were told that we could back out of the lease if we weren't happy about the parking situation...obviously not an option

On a recent trip to Portland, my husband and I looked at multiple apartments trying to find him a home away from home. Sky3 was the last placed we stopped and we were greatly surprised. It had everything we were looking for in one spot. They are located within walking distance to many shops and restaurants, have amazing views and are new. When walking into the lobby you feel like you are walking into a luxury hotel. We cant wait to call Sky3 home.
