Our beachfront pool area is sunny and inviting, with umbrella tables, lounge chairs, barbecue grills and a hot tub. The pool overlooks an area of sand dunes and the ocean just beyond. Here you'll enjoy swimming and relaxation by day and the tranquil sounds of the surf by night. Hot Tub Spa Notice: Due to raised safety concerns regarding children and babies in water above 98 degrees Fahrenheit.
We have Ocean Front rooms located in the main house. These rooms offer sweeping ocean views with private or common decks, or side ocean views and decks. For your additional convenience, these also have their own refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Of course they have individually controlled heat, air conditioning (not that we need it here on the ocean in Maine), wireless high speed Internet, HBO, and deck chairs.
The kitchenette is the best value at the Sea Cliff House Motel. Although you will not have an ocean view from a kitchenette, you are only steps away from our beautiful beach. We offer 1st and 2nd floor units and our guests share the deck areas. There are comfortable chairs on the deck area to catch a few rays of sunshine or enjoy your morning coffee.
Our 4 whirlpool tub Rooms are located nearest the beach and adjacent to the pool and hot tub. These rooms all offer private decks and ocean views. 3 of these rooms (#2, 3 & 4) have a queen bed. These 3 rooms can accommodate 4 guests. All of these rooms feature individually controlled heat, air conditioning, wireless high speed Internet, Cable TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, bathroom with a shower, and deck chairs.
Our Honeymoon Suite is located on the 3rd floor of our main house building and offers one bedroom with a king size bed. There is a queen sleeper in the living area, along with a gas fireplace, full kitchen and full bath. The Honeymoon Suite can accommodate 4 guests comfortably. This fully appointed suite offers a direct ocean view and 2 private balconies.

BUYER BEWARE- this place is a drug haven for locals - openly smoking pot outside. Despite this, every other place was booked so we had to stay for one night. The staff has some major issues! The girl at the desk told me I could park in a specific spot and the next morning the owner had me "evicted" because I parked there. I am not kidding you - they made me leave at 7 am after Alex woke me and my kids up banging on the door and being ultra aggressive. Other people were woken up and I was told by locals this is normal for him!?! Definitely some substance abuse issues there mixed with " my daddy

We Called and made a reservation everything was going fine payments were put on hold, when we arrived the lady was nothing but rude! Giving us dirty looks, long story short she denied us the room after driving 2 hours to enjoy a nice relaxing night, not once were we disrespectfully in any way. There was no reason to deny us I’m assuming its because we are young adults (23) Terrible place to support “. Thats what the deposits are for if you dont trust your customers, Maybe you shouldnt rent rooms!!!!!

We’ve been there last year and coming back this year as well. Very pleasant place, location couldn’t be better- walking distance from all attractions yet far enough to enjoy quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Beach is practically on site. Hotel itself is clean with all you may need. Kitchenette is basically equipped. I do recommend

My wife and I made a reservation in July 2020 for 4 nights during the July fourth holiday in 2021. In November 2020 we received an email informing us that our reservation would not be honored. The reason given was that our reservation had been made with off season rates, and if we wanted to keep the dates, we would pay nearly three times the rate. We made the reservations using a popular online booking site, at given rates that obviously had been approved and set by the owners / management of the Sea Cliff House. I have been coming to Seacliff house and motel for as long as I can remember and I am now 30 years old. My boyfriend and I wanted to take a trip and bragged how I wanted to come to OOB and stay the weekend at Sea Cliff. I explained how it's be awesome to go back to where I had so many amazing times with my family and hope to make it a tradition with him in hopes he'd love it just as much as me. I booked through booking.com under my boyfriends name. We live two hours and upon arrival my boyfriend couldn't find his ID. We made sure they didn't charge his card, cancelled the reservation

The best option is location ,steps away from the beach,very beautiful location.About 20 mins by foot to the pier or 5 mins by car but your going to have pay to park at least 15.00 .
Beds are hard ,futon also very hard if you are a group of 4 adults either rent or bring an air mattress.House keeping is excellent went out for breakfast , room was done when we got back. Pretty quiet at night. Far enough away but close enough to be in the center of everything.

My family has been going to Old Orchard for 50+ years. However of the past weekend it will be hard for me to return back. The reason for this being because the manager at the sea cliff was extremely racist towards my friends. I am ashamed to say I used to stay at this place every summer and ashamed that this place ruined a place so special for me.

My husband and I with 2 children , 5 and 10, stayed for a week. The pool area was great and water was excellent. The beach was right there, short walking distance which was wonderful. The Pier is a little bit of a walk but worth staying somewhere more quiet and away from crowds. I felt the room was clean on arrival and one could have daily housekeeping if needed. We would consider staying there again. I would bring my own broom in future as it is tile in main living space but I prefer the tile floor over carpet in bedroom. Just beware wifi is not always accessible and not to rely on it.

Enjoyed our stay even though room was a bit dirty. but the hotel is keeping our $100 deposit and gave me the reason that we got wine on one of their towels, which is true. I spilled some wine on the table and a washcloth was right there so I wiped it up. Hardly see how that would cost $100. Will never do business with these crooks again.

Sea Cliff House and Motel wasn't the worst, but it certainly wasn't the best place I've stayed at before. I'm leaning more towards 2 1/2 stars. My husband, newborn, and I stayed one night at the Sea Cliff House and Motel. It got the job done, but the room wasn't the most comfortable room we've stayed in before. We hung out mostly in the bedroom because that was the only area that had an AC unit, otherwise it was a little warm in the front living room / kitchen area. The futon in the living room wasn't that comfy to sit on, so we just used it to hold our bags

Room #14 had this annoying banging noise(watch video) in the bed room it continued all day and night, I thought I could tolerate it but I woke up at 4am from the noise and barely got any sleep, we requested to change room after checking in for a few minutes and got room #21 (queen size bed), but once I stepped foot in there I knew I didn't want that room, room #21 was eerie and extremely out dated, and had these weird patterns on the wall that seems scary to me, like scratch marks.
Back to room #14, it was cozy with a king size bed, small kicheb

This place was right off the beach. It's a little further down from the pier and shops but it's still close to the beach and that's what matters. The hotel is very clean and is pretty spacious. You get your own parking space which is a plus. The staff was also very nice. The wi-fi didn't work that great though on the iPad so that's why I took off a star.
