This is a great place stay. Its older in style and charm but very clean and quiet. The keepers are super friendly and accommodating. The room we had was small but didn't mind since we spent all our time away from the room. Also just less than 5mins walk from the beach and 1min walk from all the action on Main St. Great place to spend a few nights!

I wanted a place to stay just for one night to re-visit one of my favorite places in all of Maine. I stayed before season really started and the inn hotel was just starting up operations. I was checked in by the owner who couldn't have been more welcoming. I had a wonderful room. The place is for sure a great kitschy hotel very near all the things to do in Ogunquit. I can fore sure recommend this place. Directly across the street from the fantastic front porch restaurant, next door to the best shop in the area Spoiled Rotten, and just around the corner from the Marginal Way (the most scenic

My parents live in Wells and I now frequent the area. I've been staying in various spots enjoying some privacy on each visit and this hotel is very clean, cozy and quiet. There is no dramatic view, rather quiet gardens and places to sit and enjoy the shade after a long day at the beach. You have an assigned parking spot, guest spots are available esp in the pre-season time. Everything you need or want is one block away, from antiques to a theater/playhouse to a wonderful path along the oceans edge with every seafood restaurant you can imagine. Bring your shopping side and there are plenty

I have to say this is probably up there for one of the worst places I've ever stayed. I'm giving one star for it's very convenient location and another because the person at the counter was nice at check-in. Other than that, the place is old and outdated and smells the same. I never felt privacy because rather than having any kind of curtains, they had blinds on the window that didn't fully cover them. Walking by, I could see in the room and stayed in the far back corner when changing in it or in the bathroom. The "TV" was smaller than my computer monitor at work. The toilet in the bathroom was

I loved this place! First off the two guys who run it are extremely friendly and helpful as is the young girl who works the front desk when they are both gone. The place is funky and kitschy so know that going in - read the reviews on all websites. You rent a specific room so go on their own website & check it out first to see if it works for you. The location AND included parking cannot be beat. Bread & Roses superb bakery is right around the corner too. Bed was comfy and I almost stole a pillow as they were firm and exactly what I've been looking for lately. Will totally be back

Friendly staff, the price is right, the rooms are clean, the suites can sleep 6. It is kind of like a bed and breakfast Motel. No pool, no hot tub, but comfortable rooms and right smack dab in the center of town. We enjoyed our stay here and will stay again. There are other reviews of this hotel that are incorrect, somehow people are choosing the wrong hotel and writing bad things. There isn't anything wrong with this property other than it might need a good paint job, it is a bit dated, but for the price in this area, it cannot be beat.

I received several recommendations from friends to stay at this location and I am so glad that I listened. Had an awesome Fourth of July getaway here. The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms and common areas were clean. Location wise, you can't beat it. You are in the middle of town with just a quick walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. The price is well worth it. We stayed in Room 23, which was on the second floor, corner unit facing the parking lot. It had a balcony, two full size beds in the main room and two twin beds in the front entry. The beds are not comfortable. We all woke

I've stayed here a few times. I'm here on my fourth return stay now as a matter of fact but this will be my last. While the accommodations have always been simple they were also clean. Sadly there's been a great deterioration. I won't return after this. Housekeeping has become non-existent! Our faux wood floors weren't swept or vacuumed daily (spending every day at the beach you tend to track lots of sand in your room no matter how careful you are) as a result walking barefoot from bed to bathroom in the night was gross and always a chore because you couldn't get

Pretty good place all in all!
Rooms were pretty clean.
Location was great. Five minutes to all that downtown Ogunquit has to offer.
Prices were pretty reasonable while being right in the center of town.
They did have a problem with the reservations being booked on the wrong days.
They assisted in finding a one night reservation, but when we said it was a bit far, they were able to shuffle around a couple other guests to accomodate the original two nights.
Coming from a service industry background, problems will always arise.
It's how you resolve these problems that really measures the quality

Okay, folks, you are staying at a motel on a New England beach. It is not meant to have crazy five-star decor. It is the kind of place that still uses real roomkeys. I love that it isn't all ultra-modern. Parking is free in a private lot and the owners are the nicest and most accomodating people. I can't comment on the breakfast in the morning because I usually am going to Bread & Roses or Egg & I. There's a TV and a fridge, too.

Pros: Location was great. Parking is included. Price isn't too shabby if you're splitting the cost.
Cons: Bed was awful, woke up with a back ache. Shared the room with three spiders. Bathroom needed some repairs to the door, ceiling.
So if you plan to spend a majority of the day at the beach, need one night to crash and can deal with sharing the room with some 8 legged critters (who probably won't fork up some $) then this is a hotel for you.
