Just stayed there for 5 nights in October. Our 5th visit to the Beachmere.
Had a wonderful time. Service was friendly and attentive. One of the best locations in Ogunquit, about halfway between Perkins Cove, and the main strip in Ogunquit.
The views are stunning from most rooms. Ours overlooked the bay to the north, sandy at low tide, and underwater at high tide. Loved watching the surfers as I drank my morning coffee from our own balcony.
I've stayed in Beachmere South, West, and the Victorian main building. All were lovely, but I prefer the character of the Victorian.

My husband and I got married in May 2021 at the Beachmere and it was absolutely perfect. The rooms were wonderful for us and the guests of our wedding, so much so that some of our guests have booked again to come back! Our coordinator Erika was wonderful and I would recommend her and the Beachmere to anyone looking for a gorgeous waterfront spot for their wedding ceremony and reception.

We were booked for two nights. We stayed one night and received a phone call from home that we had an emergency and had to leave. At first we were told by a young clerk at the desk that unfortunately we were responsible for the second night. My husband asked for a manager. The manager had an attitude and said that's fine. She didn't even say I'm sorry or good luck. So much for Maine hospitality. We will not be going back here!

Had my absolute DREAM WEDDING at the Beachmere!!! Erika was the absolute best planner and helped me every step of the way - navigating through the whole COVID era and multiple dates! Ended up being the absolute wedding of our dreams under the stars and by the ocean. Would not think twice about having a wedding anywhere else in Maine.

I haven't taken a vacation since the outset of Covid and thought I'd roll the dice on a new spot in Maine. My parents had been there and loved the place.
After my three day stay earlier this week, I can easily see why. The hotel encapsulates everything you could possibly want in a Maine getaway.
*Gorgeous seaside vistas.
*Steps from a lovely stroll along the Marginal Way.
*Immaculate grounds decorated with attractive plantings. [the week we were there, they were just rolling out the fall plants]
*Walking distance from both Perkins Cove and Ogunquit.
*Fantastic service.

The location of this hotel is amazing. The views are breathtaking- I loved being able to go onto the balcony and watch the waves and the sunrises. The staff is willing to go over and above to help with whatever you need. The rooms were perfectly clean and the people were very careful to be safe. The rooms could use a bit of updating but we had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. We will definitely return.

My wife and I decided to take a semi-last-minute (less than a week) one night trip to Ogunquit and booked one of the only available rooms at The Beachmere. We were unsure about a ground level floor but upon arriving, we loved it right away. It was so nice to be able to mozy out of the door onto the property’s large lawn and find a gate to the Marginal Way and rocky beaches only a few steps away. The staff was very friendly, the property and location are unbeatable. Very easily accessible from Route 1 and plenty of parking too! Our room was perhaps slightly dated, though very pleasant, clean

We've been to a Ogunquit many times but stayed at the Beechmere this past time for the first. We had a very small room with a view over the Marginal Way and onto the ocean that was stunning. He could watch the sunrise over the ocean each day. Although some may say the rooms are dated, my wife and I loved our experience and will be back.

Literally a beautiful place by the sea! Gorgeous view of Ogunquit beach in the distance and the rolling waves of the sea. The hotel is perfectly situated so every room can have a view of the ocean! Room very clean and spacious and beds very comfortable! Nice to open the porch door and hear the waves as it puts you to sleep
We had lovely breakfast. Everyone is very nice and accommodating! Centrally located in town! Highly recommend this place, you need to book a year in advance! Support your local businesses!

Great place for breakfast on the water. We went on a Sunday around 10. All the places we passed had huge lines, but there was no wait. I had the lobster Benedict and my wife had the Belgian waffle. Both were delicious. The home fries were good, but most of them were way over cooked. Overall it was a great breakfast with an amazing view.

I can't say enough about the massage I got from Carla! She's a pro in the true sense of the word. I drove to Portland from San Diego & developed neck & shoulder pain that was debilitating. Carla really listened to me & applied her lengthy training, experience & knowledge. I must say I get regular massage at home, but have never given a 5 star review. Carla has the rare gift of intuition & expertise. I can't recommend her enough!

On the whole, those things The Beachmere can't take any credit for are very good. Those things the hotel has under its control are not that good.
Above average: views, access to town/shopping, lunch and dinner (but definitely NOT breakfast), large bath, landscaping, Mike (server).
Average: rooms, most hotel staff, daily room cleaning, parking, cleanliness of common areas.
Below average: mattresses, pillows, breakfast--food as well as venue, maintenance (loose floor tiles in room a hazard), carpets, ironing board cover, coffee, some wait staff.
We're not first-timers here. This is

I chose the Beachmere Inn for a quiet weekend of reflection and solitary retreat. The location is exquisite. The staff were very helpful in answering my questions on the phone and allowed me to change my room to the second floor for a better view of the ocean. I enjoyed interacting with the housekeepers and maintenance/snow removal team. The room was very clean, well-furnished, and the bed was super comfortable. The kitchenette was adequately stocked and easy to manage all of my meals while there.

The hotel is nice enough, the staff is good, the interior furnishings good enough. We have stayed here a few times at different times and of the year. My greatest complaint is the walls above/below and next to the adjoining rooms are really thin. You hear everything. If you are on the first floor it always sounds like a herd of elephants above you. The porch/walkway has the same kind of hollow drumming sound. We have taken to brining a loud sound machine with us to drown out the clunking down the porch and from above/below. The newer building was clearly built real cheap. Maybe the next time

My husband and I decided to elope at the Beachmere at the end of April 2018 after a horrific ordeal trying to plan a wedding. Sarah was absolutely amazing from the beginning! She called and walked me through everything I would be getting by choosing the Beachmere. She also helped me make plans for transporting my wedding dress (coming from Texas), getting my husband's suit pressed, making arrangements to get to Ogunquit from Portland, gettingour marriage license, And gave so many amazing food recommendations. She is a God send!

Prime location! Located directly on the marginal way with beautiful views of the ocean. Friendly staff, well kept facilities, and a continental breakfast every morning. Rooms were nice, however it depends where you stay. Over our time there we stayed in two different rooms and although the same priced varied greatly in size. Overall great experience, would love to come back!

I am very fortunate to have had a family home in Ogunquit since I was a little girl and this town will forever hold a special place in my heart. I am so lucky to say my husband and I were married at this beautiful Inn and spent four relaxing days at the Victorian this July. I sincerely cannot say enough about the staff and the attention to detail each and every one of their employees possess. The event staff was exceptional and the head Chef was fantastic! Kind, Honest, Diligent...I wouldn't change a thing! Set back and right along the Marginal Way, do not miss out on this "hidden gem

Within two weeks of our reservation arrival date my husband's brother DIED and they would not even let us out of our reservation contract. I can understand that people might make up excuses but not in our case, sadly. The day after the funeral we drove to the Beachmere anyway so we wouldn't lose our $250 deposit thinking it might be a good time to try to relax and grieve. We stayed our 2 mandatory nights and then left. They couldn't have cared less we'd just had a death in the family. They're just about the money. We'll never stay here again and we were repeat

We loved Beachmere Inn. Our room had beautiful ocean views. The room was a tad out dated, that's why they lost one star, but it was clean and had lots of room. The staff was extremely helpful, giving us recommendations of different restaraunts in the area which we really enjoyed. I also let them know that it was my boyfriends birthday, and when we can home that night they had left a bottle of red wine for us with a happy birthday note. I thought that was really nice. The hot tub was awesome, and they also had a sauna as well, which was small but good that they had it. We liked that. They also

This Inn is pretty great. Most of the rooms have an ocean view which is really spectacular. The smell of the salty air and the sun on an August morning is New England summer perfection. Take a walk on adjacent Marginal Way which is definitely nice to be right near.
When we stayed here two summers ago, our room was very cute. This place is definitely an Inn, nothing corporate about it.
