Lock up your valuables. Have stayed at the hotel for many years, even with its scratchy towels and zero water pressure. After our most recent stay we left something behind in the room after we checked out. Called the hotel first thing the next morning. Hotel manager said they would ask housekeeping. Long story short, I had to call the hotel about 4 or 5 times to get a response because no one ever called me back. Manager said they did not find the item. We know for a fact we left it and where exactly we left it. Manager was indifferent and basically could care less. So our conclusion is that whoever

What a fantastic stay and a lovely place!
We had a bedroom, a living room with fully outfitted kitchen, and an adjoining balcony. Everything was absolutely spic and span, not just us but the entire inn.
Sea Crest has modern concrete construction, unlike other hotels and inns there built from wood, so it’s easier to keep pristine. The layout is friendly and inviting, four stories high in an L shape around a central pool. Our balcony had an unobstructed Southern view overlooking the pool and facing the ocean, beautiful day and night. The atmosphere was quiet.

We were secretly charged an extra $113 dollar on our card after we already checked out and were on our way back home. When I called them their explanation was that we had a baby in our room and failed to tell them that. As new parents, we didn't know we had to list our 10 month old since she was not using a bed. We weren't trying to save any money or pull a fast one, we just didn't know. Instead of being professional and explaining this to us, the staff and Sea Crest Inn just didn't tell us anything and waited until we were in another state to charge us. Very bad business. We were there 4 nights

At the front desk ...Faith & Julianne could not be more incredible....they were beyond courteous, professional....and they saw our one son is a Marine ...I explained to them both we wanted to stay overnight before he left ...they both gave us a wonderful deal my husband and I which I wasn't expecting beach front and our 3 boys had their own room. These girls deserve extra acknowledgement....because from a mom that's already missing her son terribly and he's not leaving for a few more days...thank you both for giving me and my husband special quality time and beautiful memories....we will DEFINITELY

We stayed at Sea Crest Inn three times now and they never disappoint. It’s family owned and that shows and a has nice friendly relaxing feel to it. Always clean, great amenities, very nice rooms and location is perfect. Appears to attracts a little older crowd of vacationers. Need to mention in our last stay we screwed up and reserved one day less then we intended, so on our way to breakfast the SC checked with us on moving out that day. We were completely surprised and would still need somewhere to stay and the SC was completely booked. So Ken the building manager and super all-around caring

My husband and I began our love affair with Cape May in 1996. The first place we ever stayed was the Sea Crest and I can't recommend it more highly! The elder owners took such pride in their lovely property...beautiful gardens, spacious rooms, and views to die for. I have referred family members who return every year. We actually bought a bungalow and later a home and were resident for 16 years. After we relocated, we now return to the Sea Crest, where we started. The original owners passed on but their son and family have continued the tradition. It is a wonderful place to visit..

We stayed a king size room. It was a nice size. We had a ocean front room. The third floor. Nice view of the ocean and for people watching. The bed was a little firm and the lighting for night time is slightly inadequate.
Everything was clean. The common areas, and our room. I am very picky and see everything. Nothing to see here folks. Spic and span. Spotless.
I can overlook pretty much anything for that cleanliness and the view.

This hotel would be a solid 5 in my opinion...rooms are super clean...staff super friendly...pool and location are amazing! Bathrooms are sooo nice! It's a very quiet senior vibe too which I love even though I'm only in my 40's!
My only negative is the smoking...I'm sorry I'm not a smoker...and detest the smell & habit...especially while laying poolside and the smell from the hotel guests puffing away on their balcony's starts to blanket you...yuck...Also waking up abruptly to the cigarette cloud/nasty smell coming in our room due to our hotel neighbor thinking

Very rude and unfriendly staff. We stayed here for a wedding and they stalked my sister down trying to figure out what rooms her kids were staying in. They approached her mother in law, without notifying us, and scolded them about having the kids stay in their room, which they weren't even staying there. I ordered delivery food, and they wouldn't let the delivery guy to the door, we had to walk down and retrieve it. They continuously ran out of towels at the pool. We were part of a wedding block and at 2:00 our hotel room wasn't cleaned, I asked them to clean it because the shuttle

My friend and I checked in the day before the 4th of July. We promptly were give. The keys to our room and checked in. The receptionist names Jill was our hero throughout our visit. We had some requests while we were there And Jill came through for us on several occasions! The room was clean and spacious and the pool cool and inviting. I would definitely stay there again! Special shout out to Jill who made our stay memorable!

We always stay at the Sea Crest Inn and have never had a bad time! Love the front desk staff....always going above board to see we are comfortable and happy. We stumbled upon this hotel after staying at many throughout the years in Cape May. Now, we won't stay anywhere else. They updated/upgraded the kitchens and bathrooms. Rooms are large and, most importantly, very clean. Plus, their rates are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the Inn on October 1-2, 2017. Great location right on the quiet end of Beach Avenue, with in walking distance of spectacular sunsets.
We reserved a room the week before and initially was hoping to snag an ace an front room but they were booked. However, they set us up in a room that still had great views of the ocean and walkway.

Best motel ever! Cleanliness - 5 stars! Friendliness - 5 stars! Great views, perfect beach access, helpful staff, hot tub and pool are clean and ready for those after-beach times. Reasonably priced for superb services. Not a rowdy drinking establishment. Yes we recommend it to couples and adults. Best motel ever on Cape May!

A very old hotel / Inn. The room A/C units are window units installed in the wall. The room smelled musty when we first walked in. The positive was the fact the room was extremely clean. Our room faced the main road so with the slider open, it was very noisy. Just an okay Inn. For the price you would expect something nicer.
