I stopped at this jeweler to look at their collection. Upon ringing the buzzer I was let in to be greeted by an empty store and an employee sitting on a stool. He turned to a gentleman in the back to come out to help me. The gentleman proceed to tell me they were closing soon. I said no problem I don’t have a lot of time to linger but I wanted to see if their is a ring that stands out to me. I asked for him to show me a ring, he did. Best family owned jewelry store in the city. They care and take care of your needs. While I was visiting I felt like family. Purchased a tennis bracelet, 2 pairs of diamond hoop earrings, 2 diamond necklace and a diamond ring. All handcrafted jewelry. Eddie, can’t say enough about him! I bought a second-hand watch here and it’s good, but the leather band they sold me to my old watch didn’t hold the watch for even a minute when wearing it!!
It just fell straight down from my wrist on the hard floor and I‘m glad it didn’t break or get any scratches because of this!
When I called they told me there isn’t anyone that can help me with that on a Saturday, only Monday. Well I won’t be in New York anymore by then. I expected much better from such a high quality jeweler.

Found this Jewelers by chance after walking past and seeing the New York Pendants in the window. A beautiful souvenir that I wear a lot and hasn't seen anything like during my visit in 2019 or 2018. The lady who served me was nice and I have recommended this shop on a UK Newyork Facebook page as a lot people were asking where I got my Pendant. Absolutely love this jeweler. We went in looking to update my engagement ring and gave the guy our price range and he made sure to stay in that range and still found me the most beautiful one of a kind ring. Every single employee there was extremely helpful and kind but not overbearing. We had our two young kids with us and they were absolutely great with them, they even gave them candy! This store catches your eyes right from the moment you see it. It's in such a convenient location in manhattan. The store is full of beautiful pieces of jewelry. I came here to find wedding bands for my husband and I. The sales people are super nice and helpful. They aren't pushy and let you take as much time as you need to decide. They recommended many pieces in our price range. We bought our rings there and are very happy. We made the best decision choosing our forever rings here.

Any reputable dealer will tell you what they will pay for it and that's although there may be some back and forth, they do not ask you what you want for an item.
So here's what happened. We brought in a watch to sell and they told us "You will tell us what you want for the watch and based on that we will either say yes or no and that is the end of the transaction. There will be no offers.
In another words if you go too low on your price, they will acccept of course

Yesterday (Saturday August 12) my friend and I* went into LMJ after I had raved about a beautiful estate bracelet. I have been there many times before, alone and with my family, and the service is always great; from the ladies at the payment counter to the sales people my favorite being Ed. But yesterday when I entered there was absolutely no customer service - no "hello" upon entry. As I showed my friend the bracelet the only sales person, Meline, stood at the other side of the store with her arms crossed and silently glared at us. Stayed in New York at Christmas and then Just after New Year - I went past the window and saw a watch i liked - not that expensive just liked the style On entering the shop I was served by avery polite courteous mature lady I suspected the business was a family business which i like. anyhow the lady looked after us all and I purchased the watch.

I purchased a graduation present for my son a beautiful new watch while we were traveling in New York. Unfortunately a few months later the watch appeared to be malfunctioning it turned out it was only a dead battery. I shipped the watch to them with their account and they promptly replaced the batter it and ship it back to me what a great family run business

I walked in off the street after seeing some deals in the window. I was looking at a gift for my wife but they instantly went into high pressure sales tactics with 20 secs of holding an items asking me if I am buying this or do I want to see something else. It was very off putting. I ended up leaving to grab a coffee and think. Glad I read these reviews as it confirms my decision not to buy from them.

If you're in the market for a used / second-hand watch, this place may not be for you. They have a nice collection but the prices compared to market are outrageous, the sales staff is below par in terms of attitude and they are extremely pushy in selling you something immediately even before you get a chance to get additional details on the item you're interested in, much less getting the price on the item.

When I walked in at 11am, they asked that I come back after 4pm to pick up the battery. Although the store wasn't busy and it takes 3 minutes to change, I didn't mind. Came back at 4:15pm, put my wallet and phone on the counter and the woman says, "what would you do if you didn't have your phone for a minute?" I mean clearly I would sob uncontrollably to myself in the corner and whisper that life isn't worth living anymore, but seriously, lady?! I could have done without the snarky comment
