SLUM LORDS very rude my son and his 1yr old daughter go without heat for 5 plus hrs cause they have 6 apt wired to one breaker box and it is in the basement that is locked so no one has access then they act like it is a hassle to come flip the breaker because they have it locked up. This happens all the time and they will not wire the house correctly he can't even cook without throwing a breaker. They are very rude about it DO NOT RENT FROM THESE SLUM LORDS THE ONLY GOOD REVIEWS THEY HAVE THEY MADE THIR SELF THESE ARE SLUM LORDS DO NOT RENT FROM THEM

I would highly highly recommend you to go to a different rental agency. This place is nasty, unprofessional, uncooperative, and their communication is very very poor. (This place does not care about you). They want to get your money and nothing else. You’ll get a junk property, terrible maintenance services, and a atrocious customer experience going here.

I have been renting from DBD for over 3 years. When we moved in, there was trash in the back yard, we had no access to the basement, there was a huge hole in the roof, the refrigerator didn't work, carpets needed replaced, and the plumbing was bad. We were told all these things would be taken care of within 30 days. So far the only thing they have done is give us access to the " newly remodeled basement" that was not remodeled unless you consider putting a 2x4 next to a broken floor brace remodeled. They pulled the refrigerator out and put it on the back porch and said they would be back to bring

Critical: Responsiveness
I just have a simple leak in my basement that hooks up to the washer and dryer. The lady responsible for maintenance, Amanda, will not return any calls and maintenance has not come. Very rude and unprofessional. I bet if I don't pay rent, they'll be calling, and I'm gonna send them straight to voicemail and don't return the call. 😁

My fiancé and I have had maintenance requests in for over a month. Nobody has come out. Even left a voicemail for the person in charge of maintenance and still nothing! Put in a new work order because it’s been taking so long and still NOTHING! If you like living in a functional house, don’t live with DBD. They do not care about you.

DONT DO IT I rented from dbd Bc they were super cheap and VERY willing to rent to me. My lease expires in one month. I just got a notice yesterday saying they will NOT be renewing my lease. My rent has always been paid on time, so I called to see why. The reason? Because ONE time I set a bag of trash outside in the hallway for about 20 minutes while I was cleaning AND the REAL reason?? Because when they wouldn’t fix my electric meter when my electric was out for three days, I said I would call the board of health. So they are Mad that I said I’d call the board of health so are kicking me out

I was trying to wait till my lease was up to talk about my stay in one of their apartments buildings but I could not stay for another month! The building I stayed in smelled terrible and had people walking in and out of it that didn’t even live there. My front room window stayed boarded up from the time I moved in till now. I was told I’d have to wait a couple months till they installed a window which is completely absurd. The maintenance is terrible because they do not permanently fix things and I don’t believe they know what they are doing because things just fall apart days after they
