Communication was weak (the first 3 times I called I was told they couldn't locate my item!). Finally they posted on website with an expected repair date and the promise of frequent updates, which didn't happen. All that being said, the repair seems well done and they even polished my item, which was badly needed, and included a little (too small) dust bag, so at the end of it all, I'm satisfied and appreciate that it was done.

I sent DRS a 2 month old David Yurman bracelet in for repair/replacement due to the clasp not properly closing. It has been almost one month now since DRS received the item and have no clear status to what is happening. DRS says they are waiting for authorization from David Yurman and Yurman claims they already authorized the repair. Many phone calls to both companies with no progress to repairing/replacing the item. When I look up the online status with DRS it says waiting for approval from Yurman still and hasn't been updated for weeks....so someone is not telling the truth here. Very disappointed

The entire experience of getting my favorite necklace repaired was easy, frictionless and rewarding. The DY team kept me posted on progress with frequent updates so I knew where my repair was every step of the way.
Recommendation: Consider branding your repair emails to deliver a more consistent experience. I was not sure the first email was a legitimate.

I sent a broken spiritual bead bracelet for repair, and told them it could be shortened because I had lost a few beads when it broke. They did a fine job with the repair, but the resulting shortened bracelet was very hard to put on by myself. I mentioned this to the customer service rep, who suggested I could return it for an adjustment. They added 2 more beads back into the bracelet, making it 1/2" longer. What a huge difference that made in the ease of getting it to fasten the clasp. The turn around was quick and the workmanship was excellent. I am very pleased with the final result.

Unfortunately, I have to rate one star. I sent my ring in for repair which I though would be a month at max. Turned out to be over 5 months of waiting for them to inspect my ring and repair it. Also, no sort of customer recovery for the long wait. They definitely need improvement on their intake/servicing process.

I am very pleased with the repair being done for my 8mm wheat chain necklace. The clasp was broken and I was unable to locate a local jeweler who can repair it. Although the whole process took five weeks, I was able to check for status on the website from time to time. I definitely would use them again in the future and highly recommend to anyone who needs such repair work on DY jewelry. One very satisfied customer.

A watched pot never boils”. It took some time for the whole repair process and having the item returned to me but when it came to having my jewelry piece repaired to almost brand new condition it was well worth the wait. DY pieces are an investment and if you want that investment to last long then you cannot rush the repair process DRS Jewelry Repairs offers. Great job. Craftsmanship is impeccable. If you want a jewelry to be rehabilitated and brought back to life --- this is THE place. I do not regret sending an otherwise old classic piece of DAVID YURMAN's that needed some attention and repair. Came back to me like a brand new piece . Initially, I had given this place 5 stars, but when I went to return- I was treated very poorly.
I was thrilled with the results of my initial repair last time, but I was also told that if anything happened within 6 months of my repair I could bring the piece back in to be re-touched.
This was great as I spent a lot on the initial repair. However, when I just called I was told that I would have to mail in my ring ( absolutely not it is a diamond ring that is very important to me, would never consider mailing it)- and that the warranty I was given would not hold up.

What a fantastic experience! I have a David Yerman bracelet that has been repaired and broken twice before. David Yerman referred me to DRS and I could not be happier. I had to ship the bracelet from Los Angeles to New York, and every step of the process was easy and well explained. The repair is OUTSTANDING. This looks like a brand new bracelet. I highly reccomend DRS, and the pricing was excellent.

We had jewelry from our grandmothers estate that was old, damaged and outdated. We sent to DRSNY to see if we should just sell for scrap. Amazingly they restored the pieces, repaired the antique jewelry and gave life back to our jewelry! Amazing, professional and perfect. A pleasure to deal with!!!!
