Everyone was so nice, helpful and friendly! Their accommodations were just what we wanted. Our room was clean and comfortable. We hung a check list on the door to have towels, etc. replenished. The breakfast area was stocked with tasty wrapped items (due to covid). There was a very nice enclosed lanai area to enjoy our food. I was happy to find some cute things to bring back from their small gift shop. I highly recommend Acadia Inn.

We had a great time at your hotel. It was our first time to Bar Harbor. The breakfast was great with lots of varied choices and tables were clean and inviting. Our room was perfect with everything that we needed. Housekeeping was excellent and responded to our request immediately. I also left my favorite pillow in the room after checking out. They promptly notified me and mailed it back to me. If I could give 10 stars I would. We’ll definitely be back.

Rooms are not perfect. Kind of old..but okay. Not recommended for long stay. 2 days is more than enough. Breakfast is good.

Acadia Inn is a great option for a visit to Bar Harbor. It is located just outside the center of town but it’s an easy 15-20 minute walk to the center of town and everywhere you’d want to go with a paved walkway all the there. My husband and I felt very safe walking it after dark. The breakfast was good, the room and whole facility was very clean and the staff was super friendly and very welcoming every time we walked in the door. Great option, great people and a great value, especially when compared to other hotels right next door.

Are you kidding me??! Three night stay no cleaning service offered at all! When asked , we were given clean linens plus toiletries and expected to clean our own rooms and change our sheets and pick up our towels and clean the bathroom.
for 3 nights. STOP USING COVID AS AN EXCUSE FOR LACK OF
PROPER SERVICE.
I’m glad to pay a reduced fee for reduced service!!!!! But of course, your fee is not reduced.
Do not stay here.

Self-serve maid service was not relayed upon booking. 4 days of untidy room is not my cup
Of tea on vacation in a hotel. Replenishing of linens and toiletries was fast and efficient to the door, but changing sheets while on vacation is not a vacation to me. Would have rented an AirB&B had we known.

A quiet place to take refuge when you want to escape the madness of NYC! Small pool, but intimate. Large backyard to run like crazy! A limited pre-paid breakfast option. Their staff were kind and respectful. The environment in general was exceptionally, clean! Their rooms are large! Free parking!
Unfortunately, this darn COVID-19 pandemic has definitely affected their environment! I score them an 8.75 out of 10! I wish that I had went to it in 2019 or prior!

Large comfortable rooms, location close enough to walk into town. A great "grab & go" breakfast. Well maintained property. We have stayed here several times!

I stayed at the Acadia Inn in June of 2021 for three days with my husband.
Pros-
The beds were clean, and comfortable.
Parking is free.
You are close to the park.
Cons-
The pool was cloudy and did not appear to be clean. The water was green hued and did not smell pleasant. It did not appear inviting in any way. At one point while we were staying a maintenance worker was weeding the deck by spraying chemicals on the weeds than digging them up. All I could envision was people tracking the herbicide in the water before swimming.
For the three days we were there, the hot tub never functioned properly

Very cute spot- no bells or whistles. My low rating comes from the very clear mold problem. My husband and I were there for two nights and immediately started experiencing short term exposure mold poisoning. By the time we were home, all clothing we had used in the hotel had some mold spores on it, including a pack of cigarettes my husband had in his pocket- COVERED with black mold. A deep clean and mold removal is absolutely necessary.

My wife and I spent the weekend here on the spur of the moment and turned out to be quite pleased. The hotel was pretty straightforward in its offerings but we were impressed by their COVID procedures and overall cleanliness. The staff was also very pleasant and professional. The grab and go breakfast left a bit to be desired but is not really their fault due to the current pandemic. The location is close to Acadia, downtown and the waterfront. We would definitely stay again.

Overall we had a very nice experience at Acadia Inn. We had a lovely trip to maine, and it was made even more wonderful by an employee named Gerald! He was the kindest and most helpful employee at Acadia Inn! Our kids and family enjoyed his presence and it was nice to see his friendly face around the building. Thank you Acadia Inn (and Gerald) for your warm welcome and wonderful stay!!

This is a solid hotel - nothing super fancy, but it is clean and the service is very good. The breakfast is not going to win any awards, but it is included in the price of the room and there is plenty there to get you fueled up for the day. My kids enjoyed the pool, even if I didn't, and the location was excellent. You can easily walk into town for a meal if you want to - about a mile one way.

What I really enjoyed was that the staff really did seem to want to make you more comfortable. I haven't felt taken care of like that in a long time, even at much "fancier" hotels.

We spent 3 nights here while visiting Acadia. There were cookies in the evening, plenty of room and choices for breakfast, and housekeeping went above and beyond. We came in one afternoon to find my sons stuffed animal on the bed like a Disney cruise. The rooms were very clean and up to date. Great location for Bar Harbor access and Acadia. They hotel was a great value.

Stayed here for two nights in late October. Rooms were clean and the mattresses were comfortable. Wifi was fine.

Breakfast consisted of about two hot items that varied slightly each day. The first morning they had biscuits and gravy and omelettes. The second morning they had sausage links and egg white omelettes. Items that were available every day included bread, bagels, muffins, fruit, cereal, boiled eggs, oatmeal, coffee, juice, tea.

They also served cookies in the afternoon. We got back around 5:30pm one day and there were still some left. They were yummy!

This place was nice and clean with friendly staff and breakfast included. Very short drive to downtown Bar Harbor. I would stay here again and recommend it. The pool was nice with a hot tub and fire pit.

They have a microwave at the breakfast area. If you plan to use the microwave to cook some food before heading out for sunrise, you will need to bring a flashlight with you to locate the microwave.

I wrote an email before booking a room at Acadia Inn asking whether they have a microwave that I can use because I plan to eat before heading out for sunrise.

They sent back an email stating they have a microwave at the breakfast area that I can use at any time. So I booked 2 nights at Acadia Inn. What they didn't say is that the breakfast area will be dark. And if you ask, the receptionist will

Stayed at Acadia Inn when in town for our honeymoon. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and there was a decent amount of parking. We had a corner room which was very quiet and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom was clean. and the free wifi worked well.
The first thing we noticed is that the enter sign out front is actually on the wrong end and we had to go back out on Route 3 to get in the appropriate entrance.
The thing that we were least impressed with was the breakfast. The breakfast was cold cereal, yogurt, oatmeal packets, bread/bagels/pre-packaged muffins

We stayed here only 2 nights in May during the low season. It is not just good, it's good enough. It's clean, comfortable and the staff is friendly. It is a typical mid range, big chain type hotel. To have stayed in a place overlooking the ocean we would have easily spent 3 to 4 times more. I'm happy with my choice.

After researching Bar Harbor hotels, I decided that Acadia Inn best met my needs as a solo traveler. I was looking for a place that was safe, offered breakfast and was close to the entrance of Acadia National Park. Acadia Inn was perfect in every regard. Their front desk is managed 24/7. I called ahead from Portland, ME after my flight arrived to say that I would most likely be a late check in as Portland is 3-4 hour drive from Bar Harbor. The girl that answered the phone was really sweet and informed me that they close the front desk at 11PM, so I should make it in time. Great!

Five stars doesn't mean this is a five star hotel; it means that Acadia Inn serves the market/price point it targets extremely well. Based on our visit last weekend it succeeds. The rooms were standard hotel fare, but clean and neat, as we're the nice common areas and gift shop. The pillows could use an upgrade and/or some variety. But the staff was friendly and helpful, they had courtesy cheese and crackers, and soup, out in the eve. The breakfast was among the better "breakfast included" breakfasts I've seen (e.g., fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs; not just pastries
