Check your bill!! Made a reservation in early July and received an email confirmation with a TOTAL. In early October, I received a second email confirmation with a different number that was $98.10 more. I had a lot going on at that time, and did not notice the difference between the two emails, received 3 months apart. When I checked out, they did not provide me with a printed receipt, they just told me we were paid up. They did send an email after check out with a link to a receipt, but we were still traveling, and I didn't cross reference at the time. When we received our credit card bill in

Great place to rest and relax. The front desk team was great as was everyone that I came in contact with. Special shout out to Dave, the maintenance man! He helped us out when our shuttle driver from Bangor canceled on us at the last minute. The rooms are great and the continental breakfast provided hit the spot. Thank you for your hospitality. I hope to return sometime.

Not your average Motel! Rooms were exceptionally clean, friendly staff, fantastic breakfast selection and it backs right up to the park- highly recommend. How could you not have a good time when you’ve got lobster towels?!

We stayed here in October 2021... a great experience. The hotel is on the main drag, but the buildings are well off the road up in the trees on the hill. So it's quiet and very bucolic. Great grab & go breakfast is included, nice rooms and nice staff. We came to Acadia to bike the carriage roads and were pleasantly surprised to learn that the motel had a path to the park at the back of the property. So we left our car at the motel, walked the bikes thru the woods, and were then on the trails. Super easy and convenient! And the motel has a bike garage... locked at night... so our bikes

The entire grounds area is very clean and great for the kids to run around on the playground, swings, corn hole and more. Pool was closed for the season but looks great. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Location is very convenient to Acadia entrance and Bar Harbor down town but far enough away from the busyness of downtown. They have a bus stop right out front, we didn’t take it anywhere but saw it everywhere we went. There is a steak house right next door that has very good steak.

This motel is exactly what’s needed for an area like Bar Harbor. No need to stay indoors when the outdoors are like Bar Harbor. The grounds were clean just like our room. Staff were constantly on the grounds making sure everything was in order. The staff was courteous and helpful. Special shout out to Jack for educating a couple of novice hikers. We’ll be back for sure.

Please note, the 'bus' that reviewer Robert G R is talking about does NOT run until June. I was there in May, with no taxi service ( I kept getting vm about how they were out doing other things) and the girl working in the front desk office at 6:30 am refused to let me in the office to return my key and check out, so those two things (not having a car) were the only downsides of a BEAUTIFUL place.

One of the best rooms I have ever stayed in. Please start offering extended stays because I would like to live there until finding housing. :)

Way better motel than 2star type place as shown on Google maps. Nice spacious rooms. Very clean. Comfy beds. Plenty of pillows. Friendly helpful staff. Well maintained grounds around hotel. Parking right outside your room door. Good location. And great price compared to other locations nearby.

The area was well groomed and the roads were well paved and cleaned. In spite of an employee shortage. The people who worked there were all professional, courteous and very helpful. There was a wedding across the street and the people from that wedding took it upon themselves to congest the motel with parking. Others were observed parking and then taking the free transportation to go into Bar Harbor. In spite of this, the area was very pleasant. The fixtures and lights had a few issues but I have NEVER seen a 4-5 star that didn't either. The food and beverage offering during this COVID drama was

Our family of 4 stayed in the house within this motor court for 5 nights in mid July 2021.

The good: Great location to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Walking and biking distance. There's a bus express to also take you into the park. The house had three bedrooms which is perfect for our family.

The not so good: Their property manager, Vacasa, was MIA during our stay. We had to call into the property owners for 3 straight days asking them to fix the bathroom sink which was almost fully stopped up and for a new shower curtain liner which was nasty. Vacasa never showed up and the property owners had

Quiet cute "motel" with nice green space in the middle. Chairs for sitting outside the room and chairs and table in green space near pool. Breakfast is more than adequate with muffins yogurt cereals fruit bagels juice milk and french toast/waffles and staff are very friendly. Other families were friendly and kids were friendly and pretty well behaved. Bus to town is right out front. Very convenient. Pool isn't huge but clean and 6.5 ft deep end....great for the kids to have a bit of water play.

This spot was great for us. We had a group of 23 and our rooms were excellent. There is a pool, badminton courts, and a hiking trail straight Acadia from the back.

A bus in to town leaves from directly in front of the office and is a 5 minute ride. It leaves every 15 minutes.

Excellent hotel, excellent location, and excellent staff.

We will definitely be back.

Don't let the word "motel" fool you into thinking this isn't an adorable place to stay. The entire place was very clean and covid conscious. There was a good amount of breakfast options (fairly standard continental breakfast) and the beds were comfortable. The motel even called when we forgot about important item in the room and offered to ship it back to us. I'd totally stay here again.

This is a standard motel... Thin walls and 4 suites per pod. It's very covid conscious. Breakfast was all options individually wrapped for you to take back to your family... Muffins, bagels, hard boiled eggs, fruits, coffees, teas, juices, milk, cereal, and either waffles or french toast. Not much in the way of protein... We ended up eating the packets of peanut butter. And fair warning, the French toast was half frozen... It really needs to be put in the toaster or microwave before you leave the lobby because you can't heat it in your room and it's frozen in the middle. The

For a motor lodge, this place exceeds expectations...well, kind of, my expectations were hightened given the price.

Everything about the rooms was great: nice finishings and furniture, comfortable beds. Great housekeeping and friendly front desk. The continental breakfast was balanced (yogurt and eggs, along with piles of carbs) and everything kept well stocked. Keeping the lobby open all day with juice, fruit, and coffee was a nice touch, as was the stacks of board games.

In terms of location, the free bus is a great service, though in shoulder season, it only comes every 30 minutes (compared

I can't imagine how a motel could be more perfect. Where to begin? How about location - minutes from downtown Bar Harbor, by bike, car, or bus; and Acadia National Park literally RIGHT outside your door. Speaking of that (free) bus, it stops RIGHT in front of this motel. And speaking of bikes, this motel provides ample, dry, secure bike storage. Now let's talk room and value - I got not one but two connected rooms, with not one but three beds, for a price I would have expected for one bed in one room. The room had a fridge; and use of the microwave in the lobby dining area gave

The people that run this place probably have OCD, they are that thoughtful. Charcoal grills with all the amenities, spotless bathrooms, great beds, fresh plums and pears in the continental breakfast... I knew I'd have to be really picky to think of any possible improvements but I finally thought of one and I'm going to share it because I know they pay attention. They could have a Bluetooth speaker/ phone charger in the room for us music fans. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels and this is the best value for money hands-down, makes me wish I could add a sixth star. I'm so

We loved this motel! Close enough to Bar Harbor to catch the free island transportation into town, but far enough out that you feel part of nature. The motels are clean and updated. Swimming pool on the grounds and playground equipment for the kids. Free breakfast was on point and the coffee available all day long! The staff is incredible!

A great place for couples or families. You can easily access Acadia carriage road system from the rear of the property. Great location, not too far from town. Incredibly clean and well cared for. Breakfast was better than many continental offerings and again the care and cleanliness in the breakfast area was fabulous. They have a bike shed which is locked up at night. Very convenient if you want to bring you bikes along. Family friendly motel.

I was actually very impressed with this Motel in Bar Harbor. The Motel itself is broken up into separate buildings with about 4-6 rooms in each. The grounds are very well kept and the rooms are extremely clean. The motel also has a walking path that goes directly into Acadia National Park. They also offer a Swimming Pool and breakfast every morning with organic and gluten free options. Overall a great Motel in Bar Harbor.

Absolutely Fantastic Motel!!! This is the nicest motel we have stayed in he the price. The staff is very friendly. The room was very clean. When we entered the room, there was a towel in the shape of a lobster. The complementary breakfast was one of the best. So much to choose from. I really appreciated the choice of fresh fruit: banana, apple, pear and orange (I think). Also they had sugar free syrup! The beds were comfortable. The more has numerous buildings staggered as you drive up a hill. Each building houses 4 rooms. Along the front is a porch with chairs and small tables. Each morning
