This company uses contractors that do not properly address maintenance issues as I've had to place multiple maintenance requests for the same issues. Tons of video footage and photos of contractors cutting corners on maintenance tasks throughout the years. Rude and unhelpful staff. I made a work order since 10/04/2021 to have someone come out the fix the problem i had with a breaker tripping the person came out and fixed the breaker and said the microwave was no longer good. I called in and report it to Olivia the same day it was made aware im still sitting here without a microwave and no one have called or said anything to me about what would happen or if or when i was going to get it replaced. So i will do u guys a favor and purchase a microwave and get it install and the balance of the money will be the rent payment. Simply because im paying my rent on time and for stupid

If I could give a -10 rating to this management company I would. Very unprofessional. Very little communication. Putting in a repair order for our refrigerator when it stopped working took me 3 emails and 2 telephone calls just to get someone to come and look at it. Followed by another 3 weeks before they allegedly received the part to fix it. Did I mention that I had to call before I was advised they received the part? I paid deposit of $2895.00 and one month rent $2895 and was told ultimately by manage company that how i paid my balance lead them to believe i can not afford my rent. I changed my move in date from end of July to August 3rd. Today they only gave me a $2000 check and could not receive keys for home. I am left with moving expenses and not moving. This is horrible and I pray this is not a racial issue I was moving to Sienna Plantation. I will keep everyone posted.

I was first hesitant to use Manage Rent Houses due to the initial reviews but I ended up using them anyway due to the competitive property management rate. They managed a single family home for me from 2016 - 2020 and I have NO complaints. They found a GREAT tenant that took wonderful care of my home...which made it easy to sell after they discontinued their lease. They handled everything and went and did inspections when I requested. Would definitely use them again. Not to mention they also found the tenant within a short amount of time.

To break it down, we have been renting out house for a year now. The services provided take forever to receive including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, and any matters dealing with maintenance. It usually takes multiple requests just to get a response. Their only online paying option is Zelle which is ok if your bank uses it but, with no other way's to pay online this is an inconvenience. rentals for two years and I have had nothing but good interactions with him and the owner. I have had several repairs done on the house, and all have been completed in a timely manner. Mr. Kic has even been understanding and reasonable about raising the rent during these difficult times. This company has exceeded my expectations when it comes to rental property management. This is a review for the maintenance crew. Olivia is a hard working individual, very professional, timely and eager to get the job done.
She has helped my family with many issues that truly would of been catastrophic if not handled in a timely manner.

Absolute worst management company! I'm speaking as a tenant. We've been renting a property through them for over 5yrs now. Constant turnover, Barely any communication, Maintenance issues take ages to resolve. They send multiple companies to find the cheapest rate even when it's an urgent repair. The quality of work from the companies they use are subpar. The owner is very unprofessional and and extremely arrogant and rude. I had the unlucky pleasure of speaking to him on the phone about an issue with our property. If we didn't love our neighborhood so much we would have left

I live in a nice property. And yet, I am constantly having to check up on maintenance requests, and often times get a bad attitude from the staff when doing so. Currently, I have been without a dryer for more than a month in a property where I pay in excess of $2000 a month for rent.

Do not rent 2418 HAZARD ST APT B from them. The property is in really poor condition and they will do no maintenance work. When I moved there was a hole under the sink, that I requested in my application, be repaired prior to my move in. It's an entire year later and it's still there. The neighbors in the building are awful. The downstairs guy is a psychopath, he screamed at me for wearing a mask, and for being too loud at 9 pm on a Friday in Montrose while I can hear them drunk as hell outside at 1 or 2 am. RUN, don't walk away if you are a prospective tenant thinking of renting a property through this company. I've been renting a unit through their shady company for 2.5 years. Over the last summer, I received an email from them at midnight on a Saturday demanding that I pay them $700+ in various late fees. As I'd never paid late, I asked them to send me documentation. What I received weeks later was a strange, non-detailed list of charges totaling $410. I assumed they had me confused with another tenant since, again, I had never paid after the third of the month, per my rental agreement

This company is very poorly managed. We were without AC for SEVEN days in the HOUSTON heat. They sent the same company out twice to provide coolant for the system, which did not work either time. This was not a priority for them in the slightest. When calling the emergency hotline, as advised, I was told that a house temperature of 85 degrees in July, was in fact, not an emergency, and I was hung up on. The entire situation was absolutely ridiculous and very unprofessional.
Would not recommend and will be voicing this to our landlord in hopes that she takes her business elsewhere.

I am updating my review, not for the good. This business is completely unethical in how they operate. I have ABSOLUTELY no idea how they are still in business. But do your research prior to renting or obtaining them to manage your property. They had a lawyer email me in order to strong arm me into taking down this review by threatening to keep my deposit which has already been almost 45 days since they were supposed to return it to me. After renting for 6 years from my landlord he decided to let mange rent houses take over. I paid on time time for a whole year and was blessed and was approved for a house and now I am a home owner. Well it has been 30 days on Monday and since I was not with the company when I signed 6 years ago I haven't received my 1000.00 security deposit. I feel that the owner should have left that deposit upon getting them to manage his property.
