Kautz Property Management managed my father's rental property for the last five years, finding an excellent tenant who stayed in the home that whole time and maintaining the house well and at a reasonable cost, which helped produce a nice retirement income for my dad.

I'm so grateful for this company. I went from dealing with the worst apartment management company I've ever experienced to this amazing property management company and its night and day. There were only a couple issues with the house when we moved in and its all already taken care of within like 2 days way faster than I was expecting and it wasnt a big emergency or anything. I was in the market for a rental home. I came across a nice property with this management company. I was able to get in touch with Brooklyn over the weekend so that she could show me the property. She was very pleasant and assured me that the property hasn't been toured yet, so since I liked what I saw, I paid my deposit and submitted all of my information the exact same day.

Dealing with the company: Upon calling Monday morning, I spoke with Hanz and Michael. Michael initially answered the phone in a professional manner, but when he had to put me on hold to check on the update of my application

I rented for close to four years, a very dependable tenant, and when I requested some much needed upgrades I was given excuses why the owner couldn't. Within one month I was given an eviction notice letter stating the owner has decided to "go in another direction". Kautz currrent owner is a hot tempered man, who "INHERITED" the company from his grandfather. The transition could have been handled with integrity instead he was vicious and down right mean. DON'T RENT FROM THIS COMPANY.

I just hate that the house I am renting need major repair esp the foundation but the owner of the property is to keep to fix it. *****Update they are con artist and will find every way to keep your deposit

I've been working with Kautz Property Management for 3 years while my family was on military orders in Germany. They were OUTSTANDING. I knew my property would be well taken care of. I met with Hans a few months before putting my house on the rental market and he gave me great advise on on what I should do so that it will rent better. The property was rented out the first month after I left and continued to have a tenant. Unfortunately I had to sell the house last month and again, thanks to the team at Kautz Property Management, it sold within a month and at a great price. I couldn't recommend

Kautz Property Management did a wonderful job managing our property, we never had any worries because they handled everything professionally. When it came time to sell the property Hans did a superb job as a realtor. Highly recommend.

It has been a frustrating experience with them. The landlord of the home has been great, but we've had a lot to deal with during our time leasing from them. We have had an infestation of mosquitoes and sewage flies due to cracks in their house they are leasing us. Hundreds to thousands of them. All they did is send pest control which doesn’t work. It is a foundation issue. We have had 45 maintenance request in 56 weeks. Many of those are repeated because they were not fixed properly to begin with. As a property manager, unless your house is in tip-top shape, I wouldn't trust them to handle maintenance

As a rental property owner, I have been very pleased with Kautz Property Management. I have used this company since the owner's father ran it in the 1980s. My houses were rented quickly and renters usually renewed their leases. I avoided all the landlord headaches while they did all the work. I made the mistake of using another company in Arlington once-it was awful. I would recommend Kautz to anyone-and I have!

We have rented from Kautz for over 5 years and have had an exemplary experience. Understanding this was an older home with the possibility of frequent upkeep, we have been pleased to note that all issues have been addressed in a timely and satisfactory fashion. From HVAC, faucets, garage doors, to even tree removal and fence repair, Kautz Property has partnered with us in maintaining the integrity and safety of this home. I heartily recommend them.

We stayed at one of their properties for 2 years. They are a small company, however, whenever there is an issue they send someone out immediately. I wish we could've stayed longer, but we had to relocate. They made every process as smooth as possible. They answer their phones and respond to emails promptly. I would definitely recommend renting through them.

Horrible management. DO NOT USE KAUTZ!! The house we rented was NOT taken care of. When we expressed concern over anything, Hans, the owner, just dismissed it and wouldn't listen to our case at all. They don't care about their properties and they don't care about their tenants. When we moved out, they charged us for things that were there before we moved in and didn't have anything to do with. They took a huge chunk out of our deposit and refused to respond to our email requesting them to reconsider. I think they're dishonest. Keep looking - it's not worth renting
