If I could give this place zero stars I would. My apartment was infested with crickets and bugs. The management team in incapable of doing their job. If you want to reach anyone at the office you will have to call at least 4 times. The shower pressure is absolutely horrible. The walls are paper thin. There are hidden fees everywhere. Your rent will be $50-$100 more than advertised due to their excessive fees. I would not recommend East Lake Flats to anyone!

When I first moved in it was great! But it is now awful and I don't recommend living here! I have complained 3 times now (once in person and twice through the app) about bugs in my personal apartment as well as bugs in the hall. The first time I complained they said they would put my unit on a list to be exterminated at a date that was 2 weeks later! I don't want to pay a lot of money on an apartment on a good side of town to live with hundreds of bugs! AND i didn't even get any confirmation that they had sprayed my apartment of the date the exterminator was supposed to come. When I went to complain

Our place was infested with bugs. Every day we would have to vacuum up 5-10 enormous crickets (2-3 inches in size). One time we were away for a weekend and came back to 30 crickets all around our apartment. They would chirp in our apartment all throughout the night and occasionally come into our room and wake us up. The one star is because they sprayed the apartment within 2 days and the problem got better, but still wasn't perfect. Also Google won't let me post less than one star.
The management at East Lake Flats is also incompetent. For example, when we moved in we were told we would get 2

This place is a joke, the management team entered our apartment on numerous occasions unannounced and never gave a reason why other than “Sorry, that happens sometimes.” The property manager lived in the unit above us and constantly played loud music, purposely stomped, screamed, yelled, and beyond at all hours. Numerous times our patio was covered in vomit, alcohol, and other liquids from the residents above. Upon attempt to file complaints against the property manager the noise became worse and nothing was ever done. The company also attempted to charge us for damages to the unit and still

Was okay in the beginning but after we put notice in that we were leaving they kept screwing us over saying we owed money. Just left and got a letter saying we were charged $1200 to replace the carpet! In a <800 sqft apartment! What! It also was so insanely loud and a constant party in the surround buildings. Young college kids everywhere.

The office is efficient. There are hidden fees and you can no longer pay rent using any other method other than the website. Essentially, your rent will be $5 higher than advertised. All offers are non-negotiable. My rent was advertised as $775, but it will actually end up being about $15 dollars higher. When there is a rent increase the office is instructed to take a hard stance on the price. Be cautious when you're lease is coming up. There is no canceling your 60 day move notice so make sure you have another home ready they don't care. The apartment itself is 7/10, mostly because it

I'm now in my second year of living in my two bedroom Carver floor plan apartment at East Lake Flats and would only be happier if I could sign a longer term lease! It's a beautiful complex that's well-managed and maintained. My dealings with all the staff members, especially Abby and Karli, has been excellent in all respects, and responses to maintenance requests have prompt--often same day--as well as courteous and professional--Allen and Shane, especially so. Paul, another member of the maintenance team is also a great guy.
