DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH COTTONWOOD APARTMENTS.
I moved in to my apartment in Mid January and all was well at first but everything started falling apart around July/August. Around that time my hot water stopped working for my shower and water damage started showing above my bathtub from the apartment above. So i did what i was supposed to do and submitted a Maintenance request as i was supposed to but after a few weeks of not hearing anything i was stuck. Come August/September my hot water issue was still not fixed and i submitted a 2nd Maintenance Request about the water damage above

I lived there for a year and when I didn’t renew my lease they took it upon themselves to screw me over as much as possible like saying “they didn’t know I was moving out” even after they sent me multiple emails saying they are sad to see me go and calling to see if they can talk me into staying. They then charged me a full 2 months rent if I wanted to move out and after that they charged me a $350 “move out fee” after keeping my deposit. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! They just take your money and threaten to sue you.

Very quiet place, friendly neighbors, in general everything fine, only that the hot water has failed me, I currently have an open work order, it is the 4th time that it fails, today I report it and I beg you to give me a solution tomorrow Sunday, since bathing with ice water does not sound pleasant, otherwise very satisfied, friendly and helpful staff.

Very negative experience. First and foremost, our AC broke beginning of May, and was not fixed until late June. No reimbursement whatsoever due to their lease saying a broken AC unit is not considered an emergency. Even though in May and June the heat can get up in the high 90's, but us roasting was not considered an emergency. During this time we thought the next best thing was the pool, only to find there's another fee to use the pool. Then a week later we couldn't even use the pool, because the lock on the gate was broken, not the pool itself. Even after the AC was repaired, it began leaking

I have never lived in any apartment community SO poorly managed in my entire life. Let me give you an idea of what it's like living there. They try to evict you on the 5th of the month. Even after you make payment arrangements, they will still proceed with their eviction. They overcharged us for GAS, which we sent PROOF 4 times and each time they claim they never received it. This went on for months and when we call and ask them when are they going reimburse us they said "they will call us back." No body calls back. When we call them about this, they don't answer or no body knows anything. They

We lived at Cottonwood for five years, and never had a real problem with the maintenance or management until this last year. We saw many staff turnovers, but this last one was very disappointing. We finally moved out because we couldn't take the poor management any longer.
We had a neighbor's pipe burst in January, and when we moved out in August the ceiling still wasn't fixed from this. The pipe burst right above the light and fan fixture, they cut a giant hole in the ceiling to remove it and left it this way for weeks. Due to this, we didn’t have a living room light or fan during this time

I lived in Cottonwood Apartments for four years. When I first moved to Utah I didn't have a job or a lot of money and at the time the apartment complex was beautiful and had two bedrooms for the least amount of money that I could find.
Pros:
-The staff are friendly and try to help and accommodate you whenever possible.
-The pool is amazing, probably the best part of this complex by far.
-Living right next to a Walmart means you'll never be without anything you need.
-They try to keep the grounds nice looking with flowers and upkeep.
-The Maintenance can almost always figure out what

My boyfriend and I moved in here to save money before applying to graduate school. Coming from the quaint and historic Sugarhouse, Murray wasn't our first choice but we liked the vaulted ceilings and the pet policy so we picked something and made it work.
The girls working in the front office were great. Paperwork went quickly and smoothly and we were lucky enough to land an apartment in one of the front buildings. I'd heard of car break-ins, but we haven't had a problem. No it's not the nicest area. There are definitely some sketchy characters roaming around the Walmart parking

DO NOT trust these people. I'm in the process of moving out and came home to find the boxes I had packed up had been opened and gone through by the employees of the apartment complex. I haven't discovered anything stolen yet but have a strong feeling I will. Find somewhere else to live these people are shady.

Where do I begin..... DO NOT LIVE HERE. I was under pressure to find a place quickly moving here from out of state and this place was relatively cheap so I bit the bullet because it looked nice online. Should have read the reviews beforehand.
Landlord is super cheap and doesn't update/fix anything until they are broken. Outdated, cheap appliances. Several Gas leaks now. Our water heater is placed on CINDER BLOCKS which is extremely dangerous and they have yet to fix it. Mail routinely delivered to wrong address-this has happened to me 5 or 6 times. No way to sublet once you sign lease, forcing

DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!!!
Cottonwood apartments is the worst place we have ever lived. We have had nothing but problems from the first day we moved in. To start, the apartment was very dirty and smelled gross the day we moved in. There was no water pressure in the shower and three months later it still hasn't been fixed. We moved in in August and had no air conditioning. After we called to let them know this it took them a week to come look at it. We were told to open our window at night but couldn't because the sprinkler shot directly into our window and soaked our stuff. When they finally

You can't use the pool/gym/business center without paying $50 for an additional key. I was told this was to cover maintenance of the facilities. The pool was not taken care of when I looked. Also, the website advertises a "gated complex" the gate does not work. Even in the lease it talks about the gate code and how long it takes to open/shut. This gate has NEVER been shut in the 6 months I've been here. My customer service experience with the leasing office has been terrible. Do not expect a kind interaction. They want your money or you to leave. That's it. The tenants of this complex are also

Lasted here for about a year. Definitely extremely noisy, no where for kids to play and hang out, so you definitely have to be extremely careful driving in. If you like to play tennis forget it, the tennis court seems to be the all purpose play ground along with the gym and business center. The parking lot floods every time it rains. Seems like every neighbor around me was a chain smoker, so the smell constantly stunk up my apartment. Hot tub was open for a few months when I moved in, but seemed like it was always closed for one reason or another, it was either extremely too hot or not hot
