Nice place. Friendly. Comfortable rooms. But when paying over 320 a night, there needs to be some better amenities. The free breakfast is terrible. Its practically vending machine food. No fresh fruit and no one cleaning in the breakfast area. And the coffee is awful. I don't like be taking advantage of. You all need to step up to your price tag

Every single time I stay here it is 5 star service. George and Laura Beth specifically up at the front counter are the bomb! Though I'm sure all the staff is just as friendly but they are the ones I've dealt with the most. I ask so many questions and ask for a lot of things but they always help me with a smile. The hotel is great and clean but I keep coming back because of the friendly service. I hope they get a huge raise!

Great experience, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff! George is the best! Only negatives were no laundry facility on the property, but they did offer for us to take our laundry to their other property and the breakfast was nothing special, definitely could improve there. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay and we will stay again in the future!

It wasn’t near what I expected. Very pricey. I was informed upon check in that the free breakfast included. Eggs sausage bacon biscuits and gravy. What we received was a gas station breakfast sandwich. That we ended up warming up in our room because there was a gentleman in his last night pajamas coughing his head off the whole time.in the 5x7 breakfast room He also looked quite sick. Parking was limited because several people took 2 spots to park their car Very disappointed to say the least. I’ll look somewhere else next time

This was our second time staying here, perfect location! Easy check in and out. Staff is always amazing! We checked in with George and I have to say he is warm, welcoming, and very attentive to your needs. Makes you very sad to leave. One morning I saw him feed the birds with bird food that looked as if he brought it from home.. Rooms are always clean and the views are great! You can walk to anything on the main strip and when you are ready to visit Cades Cove you are basically right at the park entrance… Already ready to go back!! George if you read this. Keep being AMAZING!! It makes a difference

There is not a lobby here? No place with tables to sit at and work or visit or play games? How can a hotel not have a main lobby? The pictures of the pool are ridiculously deceiving. Its teeny tiny alonf with their lazy river. The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything that's going on in the next room. The location is great....the price is not. 350.00 a night I expected way more...seriously no lobby area?????

Overall trip was Awesome!...In the future we'll NOT pay $340 per week) night to stay @ Bearskin Lodge on the River. Staff super nice, but no amenities to justify the price. Too many cheaper/better options within walking distance of attractions. Definitely NOT worth the Price. No repeat customers here

Air conditioner didn’t cool room at all. Paid $320 a night, that was the most I’ve ever paid for a room and the hotel that I liked the least. Good location but there are so many more hotels on Parkway. Front desk, young girl answered phone another hotel on accident, was no help, clueless, didn’t even say hello. Name? Here’s your room key. It’s a tourist city, hospitality is important.
