Location Location Location! Can't beat a 2 minute walk from the heart of the strip!
Front desk and maids were was always amazing!
Room was great other then the toilet that takes 30 seconds to flush.
No issues with parking, and driving a truck I was limited to the 1st floor.
Great little breakfast bar with a waffle maker!
Now some negative.. the elevators are horrible!!! Slow in general and the maids and maintenance are always using them. I know they have a job to do, which I am not mad about, but be prepared to wait.
Geese that attack hang out on the bridge. You have been warned 🤣🤣

The location of this hotel is everything!! Its on River Rd which is right behind the main strip of downtown Gatlinburg. Walking to everything is great!! The staff at this hotel were great & I had plenty of towels for my 2 night stay. I had a balcony view of the mountains, a hot tub in my room & a fireplace. It was a great stay!

We had a room with a gas fire place. How is this place not a 5 star? We had a great time. Our room was clean, quiet and the maid service was spot on. Located in the heart of Downtown Gatlinburg it's a place where you can walk to almost everywhere you need to go. Free parking too. The complimentary breakfast is decent. We love it here. Beds are good. Our room was recently renovated. People, make sure you leave tips of $3-5 per night you stay. These workers have to clean up after you children. Don't be cheap.

We missed the River Rd fork on our way in and ended up the mountain where we ran into our 1st bear. We found the place eventually. This place is cozy but could use some major cosmetic updates especially the carpet in common areas, elevator garage area. The breakfast was very basic and a repeat to the previous days.. no waffles or anything like that.. The workers were very friendly and worked really hard keeping everything clean. Everything from this hotel is in walking distance of downtown. Just park and leave your vehicle for the entire stay.. trolleys past right in front.. Lots of seniors were

There are only two good things about this place. The staff and location. Everything else is horrible. Our shower literally had mold growing everywhere. The walls in the shower were cracked and caulked shut. Our toilet hardly worked. The room was hot and humid and the AC did not work. The staff tried to fix what issues they could, but I only asked them to look at the toilet and AC. Breakfast was not worth paying for, and it was free. I ended up exclusively using the stairs because the elevator is so slow it is unusable. These issues are due to poor ownership. This place needs a heavy makeover or

My room was newly renovated and clean. I did not have a view as I looked over the parking garage. spent 2 nights and the continental breakfast was adequate. I do not eat biscuits and gravy but they did have fruit ,yogurt and scrambled eggs and sausage patties. Beware the 2 elevators are extremely slow.

It's a neat place to stay. The location is wonderful, since you can walk to everything. The Mysterious Manor (haunted house) is literally a step next door. The music plays loudly at night, and it was kinda creepy. lol The little river that runs in front of the hotel is so pretty and peaceful. We went to the pool once. It was so cold! We sat in the hot tub for a little while, instead. The pool does have such a cute theme with a "waterfall" and bears. The breakfast was pretty good. It was just typical continental breakfast minus a few things. It was aggravating fighting the mass of

No parking. many people take 2 parking spots and staff won't call car owners also the night front desk manager didn't care and said no one ever gets towed and guaranteed we won't get towed due to tight spaces meaning even if you get a spot you're going to get scratches on your vehicle. Saw 6 cars have hit and runs. No cameras. Tow trucks don't fit to tow a car. See photo where a truck is taking 3 spots. Staff will insist it's doable to park in a small spot and claim there's plenty of spaces (not big enough for a car). There's no gender or ethnic diversity

A mostly pleasant stay in a very conveniently located Gatlinburg location! Would recommend and use again in the future. Details listed below.
Parking. This is one of the highlights of this hotel. The covered parking garage is free and makes life in Gatlinburg less of a hassle as there is no free street parking. Given the hotels location smack in the middle of all the action, you can pretty much walk to all Parkway attractions.
Check in. Very easy and pleasant! All front desk workers were kind and polite.
The room. It could be better but it could also be a lot worse! Yeah the room was a bit

Basically Edgewater is a basic hotel with everything you need. However, the breakfast you don't need! It was pitiful! Only offered sausage, biscuits, super gross plastic looking eggs, cereal and cereal bars. They definitely need a good update on the breakfast items.
The jacuzzi room was fine. Nothing fancy. We stayed on the 8th floor with a sad "mountain view" that had a parking lot and small tin buildings at the bottom. If you get a choice, choose the river/city view. It would be a lot better. Also, I assumed since it only had one bed that it would be a king. Especially for the

The good parts: Great location. Less than 5 minutes to the National Park entrance and right in the heart of Gatlinburg strip for walking at night etc. Next door to the Mysterious Mansion which is an added bonus. Breakfast was decent. Beds were comfortable and pillows were fantastic. Check in and out process was very quick.
The bad parts: The parking is a nightmare. The spots are unrealistically tiny even for a standard sedan. Saw multiple accidents in the week we were there where cars were hitting each other/knocking off mirrors etc due to the impossibility of parking. Elevators were the slowest

Beautiful hotel, fantastic location, free parking, and friendly staff. They have a gorgeous indoor/outdoor pool. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because we had repeated issues (6 times in 3 days) with our toilet that required maintenance to intervene. I will say the hotel was attentive and maintenance came up rather quickly. Prices were great and with the phenomenal location we were able to walk to all the dining and attractions. This hotel will definitely be our go to whenever we visit Gatlinburg.

Very old hotel. Minimal parking space. If you drive a bigger vehicle, it's like being in a horror movie. Small space to park too.
Only ONE set of elevators and it's soooooooooooooooooooooooo slow. We took the stairs and it takes you outside too before coming to your floor.
We stayed on the 7th floor and had a view of the river and city. The room is clean but you can tell it was just recently upgraded. The rail handles were peeling off too.
The only plus is there is a fridge AND microwave. The room is small but I've had a small room, probably the same size staying at the Hyatt

I booked this hotel through booking.com, the reason I chose it was that the rating was the same as the Hampton I normally stay at but was sold out (9.3). Unfortunately the breakfast was terrible, watered down waffle batter (you could see the water), out of sausage and milk. Plus couldn't find anyone to let them know. So I informed the front desk. Rooms were just ok. Bathroom needs updating, toilet rocked, shower head, when I tried to adjust it could pull through wall. Bed not made very good. Booking.com sent me a survey, which I filled out and received a email stating it was posted, however

Stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed my time at this hotel.
The hotel is located in the heart of Gatlinburg, all the attractions, stores and restaurants are a convenient short walk from the hotel.
No need to use your car once you are there and if you are not able to walk a lot, there is a trolley that stops in front of the hotel that will make various stops around Gatlinburg.
The hotel staff were all very friendly and accommodating and responded quickly to various requests.
The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, clean and welcoming.
The rooms have a fridge, microwave, coffee maker

Cons: Needs a bit of updating. Carpets and drapes were very dirty. Although half their rooms are on, "the stream", those rooms are also on the side of the road that face the strip. Even being a block over, the noise is so loud that you can only hear the steam if you are standing beside it. Parking is provided but because it's underneath the hotel and lighting is poor, it is difficult to maneuver. The elevator was terribly slow and always had long waits. When taking the stairs be aware that they only go up 3 flights then you have to go through a maze of hallways and even go outside
