Scott's path to property management was anything but planned. In 1994, while working as an agent at Huntington Realty, the Northeastern University grad received a surprise offer to buy Greater Boston Properties, the small management company whose apartments Huntington Realty rented out. Scott went for it.
Our HQ is in the heart of Boston, and we have offices in Arlington, Beverly and Holliston. We manage apartments, condominiums and HOAs in Boston, throughout Massachusetts and all around New England. Are you a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and the Rental Housing Association?.

If you've got Bill Anastasia as your property manager, you've got the best! As an owner of a property in a complex he's managed for over eight, he has been knowledgeable, professional and responsive.
And as a Realtor with 30+ years of experience, I've seen it all. Count yourself lucky if Bill is managing your complex!

Terrible management company. We have a condo in Cambridge, MA. The manager for our building has terrible attitude, is very slow in responding emails. We tried to contact her supervisor, and her supervisor immediately tried to kick the ball around and fool us. Any recommendation for a better management company will be really appreciated.

Worst management company out there. They could care less about the buildings they are in charge of and the tenants or condo owners that live in them. The owner Scott is so pompous and nice to your face and then does an about face through emails etc. One of the managers of the condos that works for Brigs is Chris who has no clue what he is doing.

I live in a big condo community, approximately 2000 residents. Every day, there are landscapers, plow companies, men shoveling sidewalks, pool maintenance staff, painters, roof and gutter people maintaining, repairing and upgrading the premise. If there is an occasional problem with trash pick up, I call Brigs and the problem is solved. We have a very responsive and professional capital maintenance company, Dube Contracting, brought on by Brigs. This is all ongoing, thanks to our board, Brigs, and Bill Anastasia.
Last year, Bill, Brigs and the board undertook 3 massive projects for the community

I'm shocked by the positive reviews on here. I have owned a condo in a Brigs owned building for over 10 years and I have never had an interaction that was not a complete nightmare. They are not responsive, never take any accountability even for items that are clearly their responsibility and flat out skirt even the most basic responsibilities of a management company. I have no clue how they are still in business. If you are looking for a management, look elsewhere.

These people should go out of business. They run condo associations without contract, take advantage of condominium owners all the time, they setup bank accounts out of state and conduct shady financial practices. Most of their employees are not capable of running any basic function. Their charge their shady services way higher that the market average and keep charging additional "services" monthly without clear reason or proof. Of course, they do not post all backup documentation in the condo portals, so any owner is unable to verify anything.

Not surprised by all the negative reviews here for Brigs. Biggest current complaint: one of their condo bldg maintenance workers regularly does not have a mask on. This morning, he didn't have one on in one of the bldg elevators. When I said something, he muttered "stupid" and then said "sorry" and took his mask out of his pocket. Does Brigs care about human lives? A neighbor from this bldg recently told me her main reason for moving out was concern for her health, due to people refusing to wear masks in this bldg, and her needing to use the elevators. My interactions

We fired Brigs. The service got really bad after the merger . Barrington used to be good, but after the merger we got the worst services. Account manager said she applied for garage permit, our new company found out the permit was never filled with city hall. We wasted 5k in a leak in our garage that was never repaired, our new management company had the leak fixed for few hundred dollars. There are other examples of bad services. Do not hire this company.

This property management company is atrocious. They should be ashamed of themselves and their staff. Look at their reviews on other sites. Their reputation is terrible. Tim Clark, the property manager of my building is completely incompetent. Brigs is unresponsive as is Tim, unreliable, dismissive and should not be trusted. If they manage your building be advised, this is a property management company that will not honor your interests as a tenant or unit owner. Tim Clark is not a property manager who will honor his commitment to you as a unit owner or tenant. He will ignore, deny, dismiss any

BRIGS is a newer property mgmt company, coming from the merger of Barrington Mgmt in Arlington, MA, and Greater Boston Properties in Boston, MA. In late 2017 we were told that this 'merger' was going to result in better service, better communication, and faster delivery. None of this has happened; in fact, all of the above are markedly worse 18 months in to this. (We own a condo where BRIGS is the property mgmt company, in Waltham, MA - Stoneridge Estates - near Pizzi Farms.
The property manager is likely at the core of all the issues, as she is inconsistent, a poor communicator, unresponsive

I thought that management companies were there to facilitate property's functions. I was definitely wrong regarding this one! It seems that they exist only to make things way more difficult. Getting stuck in technicalities that they use to avoid doing actual work instead of actually helping get things done. I can only hope that the trustees of my building will realize how fake and useless they are and will find another management company soon.

This is THE WORST COMPANY EVER!
No one ever picks up the phone here and even if they do they are completely useless. Our building needed some electrical repairs and they had to find a contractor to do the repairs. Meanwhile they ripped up the front entrance and now its been closed for more than 6 months!
On top of it i found out from the insurance company that they never renewed our HOA insurance policy on the building. When i called for more than a week i still didnt get any clear response from anyone. The useless customer reps just asked me the building and account name 15 times and said they
