I asked representative from Avery Priperty Management, that I need to change a lock in my post box. I could not do it by myself. This job was quickly sceduled in convinient for me time. Mytenants person was very professional. He did this job very well. I had very good experience in this specific case.

I enjoyed renting through Avery Property Management. Very professional staff and responds to requests within 24-hours. I had no issues while living there and it was an easy transition when I moved out. I also received my security deposit within an appropriate amount of time. I am overall very satisfied with my time at their property and would recommend them to others in the future.

I had an issue with my A/C. It was really hard to find a company that was available to come look at it due to high demand as maintenance crews were just coming back online in first phase of COVID reopening. Avery was very good about keeping me in the loop and did the work to find a maintenance crew who fixed the issue in no time.

Since 2005, Avery has rented by downtown condo and they have managed to rent it for every single month -- even when re-painting between renters, making repairs for a new renter -- Avery hasn't missed a single month of rent for me.

It's been so great living in the apartment in Cambridge. Very responsive management and always on time with any help we needed. Definitely would recommend and very sad to be leaving this modern apartment in such a great location!

We've had a terrible experience with Avery Property Management. I would give minus zero star if it were an option on yelp. They've repeatedly mismanaged our funds, not paid bill's, never respond to emails or calls. Andrea herself wont respond. Steer far away from this property management company.

I lived on Tremont in a third story apartment for five years. We had two property management companies oversee this apartment. Avery Property Management was way better. I am from New York so I appreciated Andrea's "keepin' it real" style. No BS. I trust people who are direct and don't sugar coat stuff.

I thought that Avery Property Management was a good property manager. I was a property manager in Florida, so I know what a pain people can be. They are never happy. I think I was a good tenant too. Maybe that is why they treated me so well and were so responsive--even when I lost my keys in a snowbank and they had to come let me in at 3am.

Not sure iif other Avery properties are clean but the particular one 100 Florida Street when you walk into the building you can see and decide for yourself ,other property that they manage / own very sad. I truly thought I had an apartment was desperate to take it mention me replacing an air conditioner at my cost IdkI guess I scared him away he returned my security deposit without calling me in letting me know mr. Avery overnighted it in the mail.. I put in a 30 day notice at my office and he also told me to put in the notice, my office was ready to put my apartment on the market I would have

I have lived in apartments managed by Avery Property Management twice. Once on Upton and once by the Buttery. Both times it has been a joy. Maybe I am just a great tenant (LOL), but Andrea has given me a little gift at Christmas almost every year that I rented at those two places. It is the little things that make a difference in life.

I have had nothing but a positive experience dealing with Avery and our property manager Leslie. A few weeks ago I went on a trip and my dog sitter couldn't get into the my apartment with the keys which resulted in my panic. Even though the situation got taken care of before Leslie got back to me she was concerned and very helpful in next steps. She has also has been very responsive and understanding. I really enjoy working with her and I am very thankful.

I have lived in an apartment managed by APM for almost four years and have had a consistently positive experience working with them. Leslie Campbell has been my point of contact and has been super responsive, flexible, and helpful. From managing roommate switches to helping us get our bathtub redone, Leslie has always been friendly, understanding, and communicative. She has taken our requests seriously and follows through to ensure that everything is taken care of. I have really appreciated living in a building with that kind of support for the past few years!

The company is terrible at returning phone calls, emails and text messages. To get timely answers I usually have to go their office in person. Unhappy with their service...or lack of service... managing the building I live in. Looking forward to selling my unit and to move out ASAP. Meanwhile I enjoy watching the trash overflow from the inadequate trash bins outside my window.

This is one of the WORST companies for property management. They do not respond to messages or phone calls in a timely manner. In fact they do not even respond.

They charge you for things that you were not notified of and do nothing to rectify it. They are a nightmare do not use them.

After my last review I've had a completely different experience with Avery. They gave my account to a new property manager Leslie who has been great - super responsive and helpful. She's prompt with replying to emails and addressing our concerns which is great. She's been working with the landlord to upgrade some of the super old appliances too- so that things work properly! So glad they switched up property managers as our interactions have been much more pleasant.

Easy move in. Clean apartment. Epay is super convenient. Never had issues as a tenant. They have responded to me whenever I have sent a question via email. Our building just got new carpets and paint in the common areas which is exciting.

Simply put, I recommend that you do everything in your power not to rent from this company. From (literally) the beginning of our two year relationship, they were not forthcoming with us, refused to respond to questions and requests, and were wildly unprofessional. When we first signed our lease in their office, they told us that they would not provide a counter-signed copy of the lease until months later when we actually moved in. When I told them I was not comfortable with that, I was told that I could call the next day and get a counter-signed copy. To make a long story short, it took literally

Been working with Jessica and she has been great. We signed a lease break and on the day of the lease signing had to push it back half hour at the last minute and they were very accommodating. When we got there it was all printed out and pretty quick to sign. We were trying to move in ASAP since we were renting out an AirBnb and the previous tenant moved out a day prior to the lease signing. They were able to get the maintenance crew in before we signed the lease and we were able to start moving that night.

We have lived in an Avery managed building for 2 years. Our tenant liaison, Jessica, was great and very responsive to our requests. One day our older oven stopped working. She had it replaced in a few short days. After a string of none responsive property managers in other buildings, it was great to have someone so dedicated to helping tenants.

These people don't deserve to be in business - HOLD YOUR STAFF ACCOUNTABLE!!! This would be 0 stars if Yelp knew about them.

The problems started before I moved in - THEY ABIDE BY THE LAW (NOT) - they refused to provide a countersigned lease for months (Hi, the law is 30 days) - after reading other reviews addressing Avery deciding to revoke a lease and rent to someone else, I was getting VERY nervous as 4 months passed ... it also made it very difficult to plan for time to go to city hall to arrange a parking decal and moving permit prior to moving in (I signed in May for a 9/1 move in

After 5 years with Avery Associates as a landlord I can say I had the most brutally awful apartment experience with them out of the 16 years I have lived in Boston.

While the apartment I lived in was in a location that worked for me for a number of years, they did nothing to maintain the property. Not once in 5 years was anything fixed, broken oven, paint peeling off walls, water stains on ceilings, etc.

Add us to the list of dissatisfied customers, and we're not even in our apartment yet. I would give them zero stars if I could.

We signed a lease on 7/14 for a 9/1 move-in. We explained to them through the process that we had a condo fire, have been transient since May, got scammed online out of $2600 trying to rent an apartment, and just want some stability in our lives. We requested to get the countersigned lease as soon as possible, since we don't have anything in writing in case they decided to rent the apt to someone else. Just give us peace of mind and a copy of the countersigned

On the other side of things, as an out-of-state property owner, I would absolutely not recommend them to anyone but my worst enemy. They do not respond to emails. They do not answer phone calls. They deduct money from our income without an explanation and do not respond when you ask why. Two months in a row there have been deductions for appliance repairs with no detail as to which appliance(s) required repair and why.
In order to get an answer from them one time, I actually had to take time to stop into their office during a short trip to Boston to confront them. I had one day in the city and
