I think it's interesting to find out not from the apartment, but from my son, that a person got mugged in the elevator at this apartment complex and the apartment didn't think to notify anyone or send out an email at least. Poor communication, management is rude... Will not have my son stay here ever again.

Maintenance was horrible. Lazy, took forever. AC kept freezing up having issues, never was fully fixed. Took forever for them to finish fixing the washer and dryer as well. Both “fixes” parts were left scattered and in the way. Very messy and lazy. Constantly waited on getting packages from the front office people. Several times I was told my package wasn’t there, or some excuse about they don’t always come. Always ended up being there. Just another example of the laziness at the Luxx. There are issues with property management, mulitple billing errors, and at least one maintenance worker that is rude and makes young women residents uncomfortable. It is next to impossible to get the manager on the phone to resolve any issues. They simply don't answer the phone. The maintenance worker has been reported multiple times and the management says they will not do anything about this serious problem. You do not want to live here.

This place is an absolute joke. I was on a year lease but didn't stay there for half of it because it was disgusting. Now they're trying to charge me and my roommates for "broken mattresses"? When we try to contact them, nobody wants to respond but they won't allow us to call them to talk about it. The day we moved in, the apartment was absolutely DISGUSTING. It stunk terribly and everything was super dirty. The air didn't work to my room Specifically and when I asked them to check it, they said I was wrong. As if I didn't live in my own room. It takes forever

LITERALLY THE WORST PLACE EVER. Please save yourself the awful experience of wasting your money living here. This place is trash. Roaches in the kitchen, roaches in the bedrooms, walls are thin as paper. Parking lot sucks!! There’s no room at all times of the day. Maintenance doesn’t know how to fix anything, you’re better off fixing things yourself! Not to mention the CONSTANT parties nearly everyday of the week! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who enjoys their own peace of mind. Do whatever it takes to avoid this place. They make it seem so nice online but just read the reviews

Horrible place to live ignores you when contacting does not return emails broken furniture that they never replace then try to get you to pay for. During snow storm was put out for 7 months and charged. Given temp that was not ready. No parking at night. All the things they promised to provide all lies. Do not move here tell your friends save your money and get a better place

If I were to rate this place 0 stars I totally would. Where to begin, upon move in, our apartment was super dirty, & rooms were filthy. Not to mention my restroom sink cabinet looked like someone yanked hair out of their scalp and glued it to the cabinets. Also took me and my roommates about an hour and a half to fully clean our restrooms due to how dirty they were. It is going to be 4 weeks since we moved in and not a single maintenance request has been completed. Our sink, which is clogged, has yet to be fixed. My son lives here. He attends UTSA. I was originally impressed with the complex. It's very beautiful and the facilities and amenities are great. However the other issues make me take pause. Since he's resided here he's had plumbing, mechanical and A/C issues and it's only been a year. Many work orders submitted by him and his roommate. The repair personnel have been rude to my son and it takes a bit for issues to be addressed. I must say there is a young lady that works the office that has been very attentive but it doesn't make up for the lack of reliable and consistent

First of all, the office staff is irritatingly unorganized. One person will tell you one thing, then the next person will tell you something completely contradicting. Second of all this place is flithy, when I first moved in, the unit and room I was placed in were disgusting. They kept telling me that people were going to come and clean it, after a few days of waiting on them I ended up cleaning the last residents mess my self. I've been trying to transfer units and the last thing I needed was to pay. The due date to pay is today and they still haven't posted my charges. You go in the

I'm updating my review because it's only gotten worse since the last one. FIRST: they say there's a hot tub but the hot tub doesn't work and hasn't worked since i moved in. ALSO my ac has broken or stopped working about 7 times since i moved in and every fix is temporary. our dryer broke and i asked them to fix it which they barely did because now it works but it doesn't dry the clothes all of the way so we have to run our clothes more than one cycle to dry them and i've asked 3 times to have it fixed and every time the maintenance man says it's running fine

I have lived at the Luxx for one year and the amount of problems I have had is insane. First, when I moved in the floors were not even leveled. The island was too heavy it dipped the floor resulting in the dishwasher not being able to open all of the way. If I have a problem, maintenance will take a long time to respond and once they respond the problem isn't even fixed. We have had maintenance come in to look at our dryer 4 times and they say its fine. I wouldn't say my wet clothes are fine after running the cycle 3 times. They put a random room mate in with my daughter and the room used all my daughters stuff , dishes left food on them all dirty in the sink bugs now flying around . Asked this roommates not use stuff says "I'm not as we see it all dirty in sink" then she gets a DOG a BOXER a dog that grows to be 75 lbs if not more. Let's it pee and poo all over common area and does not clean it up. The smell is so bad it's coming into my daughters room. We complain to Sylvia and now Alexis they say oh we will ask her to clean well she never does. She puts a paper towel on it and leaves it

Advertised as the best, "luxury living" but hardly even mediocre. Moved into the place it was not clean at all, ac would constantly break leaving me sweating in the middle of the night or freezing in the winter time, fire alarms in the entire building would go off in the middle of the night or early morning randomly when there was no fire, they would say it's a test but no prior email or warning would be given and would wake up everyone. Half these reviews are fake because they give gift cards to people who leave good reviews. Many months after move out I was charged with false claims

I just moved in and I'm not as satisfied as I thought I would be. Move in day, my apartment had pizza boxes on the floor. I tried getting my keys in the office and was ignored for a good 10 minutes until I just left. The pool looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years and the no one has picked up our trash for the past 3 days.

I have lived at The Luxx for 2 years. Take your money and live somewhere else. The Luxx loves to charge their residents unnecessary fees, maintenance takes months to fix your issues, and management does not communicate with us very well. All other student housing is better than this place.
