I noticed that Vertex didn’t have very great reviews so I figured I would share my positive experience here. I’ve lived at Vertex for 3 years now and honestly don’t have any complaints. The staff is great and the maintenance men are so friendly. Ami and Art are great! Whenever we have an issue, they are more than happy to fix it. Definitely the cheapest rent for comparable apartments nearby. The only downside is the minimal guest parking but my boyfriend is usually able to find a spot if he waits for 10-15 minutes! Overall, I’d definitely recommend living here for students.

This apartment is subpar, but not terrible. You get what you pay for, it's one of the cheaper complexes around here. A lot of things could use improvement: maintenance is unresponsive (they've marked smaller maintenance requests before as "complete" without actually coming to fix them), the front desk staff isn't always helpful and don't pick up the leasing office phone sometimes, sometimes our key fobs stop working and all the doors in the complex basically just have to get propped open (building doors, not those to individual units), etc. The apartments are in a little bit of a noisy area and

Really thought things were looking up for me at vertex but tonight I had a potential BREAK IN. I was home alone and I heard someone try to open my door. Luckily it was locked. I was literally terrified so I looked on the website for our security's phone number. No where to be found and not in any of our emails. Waited for some time and I went down to the office where a guard was sitting. I tried calling the office and of course he did not pick up the phone. I’ve had an overall great experience at Vertex so far. I like the property, the parking garage always has space and the amenities are great. You get what you pay for and I mean that in the literal sense of the word. Our dishwasher in our apartment is almost melted so it doesn’t hold many dishes. My fan was dangling out of my room ceiling at one point, but matinence made sure to fix it right away. Everyone is super friendly within the staff. Honestly, I would suggest you to not choose vertex. It’s quite noisy outside that often make you hard to sleep. Also lots of facilities in the room that were offered to you break so fast when you moved in. Although the workers here are all pretty friendly but the quality living here is really low.
Plus, it did not ask you which floor you preferred more when you signed for the lease, so we got randomly assigned to first floor, which is horrible because our guests upstairs make really loud footsteps.
We complained several times to the office but nothing seems to change:(

First of I just want to say I've only lived here about a year and a half and it has been the absolute worst decision I've ever had to live here. the whole "luxury done right" is the biggest joke I've ever heard. Nothing about this place is luxurious at all actually. First of all we pay rent every month and with that should come access to the pool and other amenities in this facility. But no. VERTEX REFUNDED/CANCELED MY DAMAGE CHARGES: Thankfully they understood my problem which was there management team. Here is my review on them.
I moved out this summer on July 31st. They charged me thirty dollars in damages (wall paint and toilet).
When I first moved into the apartment the screen door to my balcony was unhinged and partially lying on the ground. The couch was tattered and I could see the foam coming out of the couch. The chair was also the same. The screen door, couch, and sofa were fixed.
Later my washer broke and water seeped through the floors into my neighbors apartment below

This place presents this facade of “luxury done right” but it is anything but. Sure, I enjoyed the apartment at first but the longer my lease went on, the more problems started occurring. Everything seems to be breaking and it’s not as if I am super hard on anything. What’s even more annoying is after I submit maintenance requests, they are unable to fix the problems. I’ve had my AC “fixed” four (about to be 5) times and they have yet to actually fix it so perhaps the reason I’m motivated enough to write this review is due to the fact that I’m sitting in a 85 degree room all day

Do not lock into a one year lease with this place! Twice now it's been so bad we've tried to get out of our lease. This last one was only to release us of the last 2 months due to complete cockroach infestation. Literally in the refrigerator and everywhere and boys aren't filthy tenants. The management absolutely doesn't care and to get out of here would take a lawyer. We are moving my son out and having to pay rent in two locations because he can't live there snd they will not let him out of lease even though it's affecting his asthma condition.

The parking situation here is ridiculous. I have lived here for the past year pay 80 dollars a month for parking and have gotten my car towed twice. The parking garage here is so poorly constructed to the point where many people I know have gotten into accidents and even totaled their cars. If you're planning on bringing your car here your better off parking somewhere else because even if there's an issue that's caused by vertex they will not resolve it. They need to do better to insure the safety of their residents. At the end of the day the hassle of living here is more than it

Vertex staff is so unprofessional especially Kasey Poole a so called "manager". The staff will treat you like a child, very money hungry and inconsistent. Kasey will first call from a blocked number before she calls from the actual office number. My car has been towed TWICE on "ACCIDENT" it's so disorganized you can't live comfortably at a place like this. Do not move here. Furniture and appliances are cheap too.

The trash room has cockroaches and the walls are paper thin. This place is not worth the money or the headaches that come with living here. 0/10 recommend, stay away

Extremely disappointed with the service at vertex. The internet sucks and will leave you needing your own router, the rent portal system has switched and has been even worse than the first, don't even think you'll actually be receiving the packages you order, the swimming pool has been broken for most of the year, and you will barely be rewarded for staying and renewing your lease, look elsewhere, the website isn't even up to date with contact information. Recently a friend moved here. The Apartments are in good shape and great interior and exterior. The pool in the middle with trees around forms a great imagery. The lift is also fast and opens both side. The club is awesome to hang out and party. It's hard to shift things from parking to the house as vehicle entry is not possible. The security with card access is good as well. The rooftop is also a great spot to chill.

I lived here my sophomore year of college. If you're in college and you're considering moving here please don't. They make you pay to park which is stupid because you shouldn't have to do that where you live like there's no excuse. Also $1000 per room??? Just get a two bedroom apartment to yourself for cheaper that is insane. It's just another company taking advantage of college students. Please find a nice apartment somewhere else for cheaper you already have to pay for tuition and books and parking on campus at stupid high prices don't add housing to the list

Moved in fall 2015 when the building was brand new - apartment was beautiful and clean. First thing I realize is that I can hear absolutely all of my neighbors through the wall as and ceilings. Not great, but manageable. Though the apartment was pretty, everything was really cheap. Table leg was broken probably before I moved in. I started having issues with my dishwasher breaking. All the surfaces in the kitchen were weirdly hard to clean and stains wouldn't come off despite my scrubbing. Walls chipped/scratched SUPER easily

It's just that simple. The whole building is a mess and nothing will get taken care of timely. Management is very incompetent and will not get your basic needs taken care of. Living here will mostly consist of headaches. The front desk people are nice but they're just students so they can't do much. Maintenance just does not care and the apartments appliances stop working as well. Trash room is disgusting and the machines in the gym are always broken. Just not a professionally run complex and with so many new apartments getting built just find another one.

Always give you a call and emails even you tell them not to call back since they have no appropriate unit for you. I think the building was nicely built originally and the lady that took me over the tour was nice. I know this apartment by a Chinese forum web but it is a bit out of my expected when I visit there. The front office was small and.. Em.. The room are also a bit small compare to the price. Only thing is they provide good TV(I think from what I been told) and new furniture. There was a SHOOTING in my sister's building on her floor early in the morning (bullet holes in the wall that separated her room from the hallway and blood on that same wall).
Despite the Vertex's obvious lack of security both before and after the shooting, they would not let her end her lease after she suffered from severe PTSD after hearing the shots and the shot victim try to escape down the hall, from just inside her bedroom.
She lost all of her personal belongings (photos, clothing, shoes, blankets, school textbooks and notes/supplies, etc.) and furniture because

DO NOT rent at Vertex - that's my advise to parents! My daughter rented last year with 2 roommates. $2400 for a 3 bedroom apt??? (that's extortion). Especially when the buildings are unsafe, noisy and filthy! The complex was brand new when my daughter moved in and within 2 months, the elevators smelled and looked like the kids had thrown up in them. There was ALWAYS trash left outside the trash bins in the halls. Take my advise....look elsewhere, you'll be much safer and happier.
