This place sucks. 1) The utilities break all the time. Ive had to have my A/C repaired 4 or 5 times. When you turn the hot water on in the shower, there is often a violent pulsing in the shower pipes that makes a lot of noise. Sometimes i hear it in my apartment coming from nearby units, too. The water also squirts in every direction except where its pointing. (At least mine does). I've also had water leak onto my bed from the ceiling. 2) The amenities are closed half the time, but you still pay for them. The pool and gym I couldnt use for many months. 3) Elevators routinely break and youre

This is the worst place ever. Nothing works. I had to drive out just wash and dry my clothes. The air conditioning would never work properly (randomly going hot and cold). I could hear everything from every where. Of you're looking for a nice place, I'd never recommend here. Literally anywhere is would be better than this garbage. Find a place that is worth your time.

DO NOT LIVE HERE. I got super sick for months from mold exposure. There were mushrooms growing in my house because the window was leaking water in. It took over a month to fix. Thats just the start of the issues I have had here. I cant WAIT to move. Im stuck here for another 8 months.

This isn't the place to live, here is a list of reoccurring issues
(1) hot water doesn't work properly you have to turn on on the sink, the tub just for the shower to work
(2) the fridge leaked for 5 days before replacing it , it also had rust and mold inside
(3) there was someone's clothes in my washer and dryer on move in date
(4) the AC continues to break and it was 94 in my appointment Management refused to pay for a hotel
(5) they contracted a tow company to tow care but they tow residents cars and the leasing office does not care if they tow your car
(6) managers do not

Worst apartment in my 30+ years. Purchase parking and continual violations by others. Refuse to tow violators because they know the drivers. Pictures attached.
Balcony doors are broken and won’t lock. Refuse to fix due to discontinued parts. Door remains open with AC bill $250+ due to heating outside. Requested 3 months of maintenance with no response.
Over 3 weeks of no hot water. Realized systems were reversed.

DO NOT LIVE WITH THESE LIARS. I came here with the highest regard of this complex, it was to my disbelief, the biggest regret of my college experience. I have made a maintenance call that gets ignored EVERY WEEK. My Ac never works, and I recently couldn’t shower or have water for 2 days straight. In the contract you sign, they specify that they reserve the right to raise your rent at anytime or parking cost at any time. Which they did too me. All amenities have been closed for practically my entire lease. You're lucky if more than one elevator in Tower 2 is working sometimes takes up to 30 minutes just to get to and from my apartment. If the elevators are working don't be shocked to smell awful odors. My friend had a verbal commitment for a new lease (Don't know why he'd want to live here again) and waiting for them to email it to him, they told him multiple times they would email it to him they never did. STAY AWAY! Their lease agreement was unacceptable, with dodgy language regarding a lease concession to match their advertised rate. They advertised a studio unit at $1,277/month based on a 12 month lease. When we received the lease, the detailed monthly charges did NOT include the concession discount, and instead listed the full lease amount greater than the advertised rate. NO WHERE IN THE LEASE DID IT LIST THE CORRECT MONTHLY RENT AND FEES DUE. Instead, they buried the concession discount in an addendum, WITH CONDITIONS BEYOND A 12 MONTH LEASE. I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to all the staff that were helping find a room this last weekend.
I unfortunately did not move forward with the room. But I just wanted to let everyone know that their staff is not as horrid as the reviews make it out to be! I think this behavior might be due to the fact that the majority of their tenants are young college students. Some of which might not be mature enough to even have a proper conversation.
With that being said. I have signed up for their notification list for when the floor plan I want is available and am looking forward to it. Thank you

I like this place and they have done some major enhancement inside the building. But I have been here for almost a year and I see that gym has been in renovation for months and whenever I ask about when it will open, they just gives a random dates and again they say the same thing on the given date . It's been months since I have been hearing this. It would have been better if they have told me that it will take months rather than just saying that it will open in 2 weeks. I could have joined any other gym but then you think why do I pay some other place when the community gym will be ready in 2

Avoid this place if you guys are looking to move to Tempe. They consider this place “luxury living” lol it’s fair from that. Red flags since we moved in.
The place was a completely dirty and we had multiple signs of water damage in our unit that they neglected to fix before we moved in. We rented a 2 bed 2 bath unit which they charged us $2,100 a month. They now consider that unit a 1 bed room 2 bath with a den and are charging $1700 a month for that unit now. Completely unethically and illegal as well. Would consider suing for fake advertising but the small guy never really wins in this

If I could give it a 0 star, I would. this place is terrible. management is the absolute worst: they never answer their phones and they are worst at communicating. everyone I ever spoke to about the complex who live there all are trying or have tried to get out of their lease. it's built cheap, nothing in the facinity hardly works, things easily break, management doesn't know anything and they are extremely rude for thé amount of money you pay. I'm sorry but do not waste your time living here or trying to, it's not worth it. I promise it's not worth it.

If your a college student or anyone under the age of 25 this place is perfect for you! It's very beautiful, nice layouts. I love the separate tub/shower combo they offer & all window apartments. Only small things we didn't like, someone kept parking in our spot & even wrote a note to tell us to stop parking there but that was our paid spot.
Even with the blinds down you can see directly into everyone's apartment. So if your getting dressed or even just sitting on your couch, you will have an audience.
Loud music at the pool (if it ever stays open) from 9am to 9pm. Parking

Overpriced, bad management, old and overused units, false advertising.
5 years living here and had no issues but with the new managers in office, i got my car towed from my parking spot that i pay for, and I've been waiting for months now to get a problem that the staff created in my lease to be fixed, they add and remove parking spots and storage units with out me knowing ( after i signed) and they keep lying to me everyday about the lease issue being fixed.

I have never had the problems with an apartment then I did here. between the office never answering or being helpful unless they are HOUNDING you about renewing. They will take packages into the office and never notify you of it unless you go looking for it. They have even lost 2 of my packages now that i can't get money back for. Maintenance is never helpful, have been waiting on a new part for my window to work for months now with no update. The pool and gym have been closed my entire lease even though it's something that's paid for in the rent

West 6th has been terrible since the day I moved in. Two weeks prior to move-in, they had a pipe burst which flooded almost the entirety of Tower #1. It has been 6 months since move-in, and there hasn't been a single day where the complex hasn't been inundated with some sort of construction crews, protective covering in the elevators, open holes in the walls of various hallways, and just general messiness caused by constant and continuous construction.

This place has the best service and property in Tempe. I have lived here for two years and recently lost my phone in the apartment building and thought it was gone. But a member of the west 6th team found my phone and went thru the trouble of calling my mom and getting the info for my apartment and getting my phone back to me. Exceptional service!!!

The apartment complex itself is very nice but the management here sucks. After signing the lease and submitting all the required financial documents, I and my roommates were planning on moving in on 12th Dec. But, West 6th, called me up on the 11th saying we cannot move in because they weren’t able to verify my immigration documents which they hadn’t asked for till Dec 10th (and I turned them in the same day). Staff has been kind, but it takes forever to get repairs done on the apartment. We moved in and were surprised to see SO many problems with the apartment, from holes in the wall to water damage. Also, it costs $1000 a year, yes a thousand, to park here even though the parking garage kinda sucks to have to go down. Parking should never cost that much. The elevators are always breaking down (my bf got stuck in one for two hours), and there's always trash everywhere. If you're looking to move somewhere with an amazing view look no further. Leanne at the leasing office is by far the best property manager I have ever met, I've lived here for over 4 years and multiple units. Any time I've ever had an issue she's been there fix it and do everything in her power to make me happy. Love the management staff here.

I lived at W6 for 4 years. To give you an idea of the dysfunction in the leasing office: when I moved out, there was one employee that had been working there for 3 years. That includes maintenance staff, security, admin etc. I had lived there longer than any one person had worked there!

We signed a lease on a 27th floor "luxury" penthouse at $3,600/month. On 6/4, the day we picked up the keys to move-in, Leanne (the general manager) informed me as we were walking out that after we moved in, contact her and she would send a cleaning crew to do a "touch-up" cleaning since they were touring investors and did not clean apartment prior to our move-in (they had 2 weeks to clean apartment after we signed lease). I have lived here for almost 3 years and it is with my deepest regret, that I am moving. This was the best place ever. The amenities, staff, maintenance, crew, and management made it an overall great experience. The view is enchanting and the upgrades are state of the art. I am writing this review because the staff Danyelle, Dom, and Preon have been so amazing to me.
