Village Woods Apartments

I give the staff here 5 stars because they truly try and go out of their way to make everyone feel at home even during this pandemic we are all facing together. I moved into my apartment 4 months ago, right before state shut down, I am still waiting on my furniture to be delivered, so you can imagine my frustration; nevertheless, the staff here has taken precautionary measures to still help their residents and keep the staff safe. I had a couple of maintenance concerns come up that I could not live with and they were very kind and professional about getting them resolved quickly. Mar' shell and

The response time for any inquiries and/or issues has always been quick. Last week I emailed Mar'Shell around 20:00 and she replied within 10 minutes. In my opinion, that's going above and beyond. With a property manager who maintains professionalism and takes care of problems as they arise, I have no reason to give under a 5-star review. Thank you.

Great location. The office staff and maintenance crew are wonderful and great to talk with. They are very helpful and truly want their residents to be happy and enjoy living here. I enjoy living here and have made my apartment home. The only complaint I have is the apartment that is shown has nicer carpet and flooring than the actual apartments. I loved the wooden floors in the pics on the website and the staged apartment, but the rest of the apartments have a darker cheaper looking floor and carpet. I’ve lived here for about two years and have had an amazing experience ever since move-in! Mar’Shell and the entire staff go out of their way to make sure residents feel comfortable living here. I would highly recommend this apartment complex if you’re looking to live in the QCA. It has nice amenities. Pest control sprays your apartment every other month, so there are hardly any bug problems. It’s safe and worth the 5-10 minute drive to the Illinois side of the QC, and at least 20 minutes to the Iowa side. The apartment complex is also next to a bar/bowling alley, so you can have some fun

The service here is great. The staff is very friendly and always inviting. Whenever we have a maintenance request, they are always so fast with responding and get the job done. I would highly recommend this property to anyone of my friends.

My parents have lived here for almost a year and its been the best experience. The front office and the maintenance department go above and beyond to make sure they are well taken care of. I feel comfortable with them living there because I know that they are going to be taken care of when I'm not around. Thanks!

I'll give village woods two stars simply because Emily was amazing from start to finish! From July last year till now has not been the best experience.when my fiance and I sat down with the office to see of this would be a good fit for us we told them that we have 4 cars between the two of us and was documented on the lease. Since they have threatened to tow our vehicles that are parked in one spot for too long?? My fiance is a trucker and isn't home very often and this was also known at date of lease signing. They might brag about "newly renovated" units and while yes, it might look nice on the surface, there are so many issues with this place and any repairs that they do to "fix" or "update" things is done so cheap!! There was mold and water damage in one of the bedrooms and literally so many issues with the place when I first moved in- after they supposedly "inspected" it and deemed it good to go. It has literally been nothing but issue after issue here. My neighbor has leaking windows and their solution

My wife and I have lived here for close to a year and we absolutely love it here! Mar'Shell, Emily, Carry and the rest of the staff are always eager to help. The grounds are always kept clean and beautifully landscaped. At night the parking lots and courtyards are very well lit. Overall its a beautiful space & safe community with good neighbors, great staff and very clean & comfortable apartments.
