Services
These directives help your loved ones and providers respect your wishes even if you are not in a position to tell them what you would like them to do. For example, if you are unconscious or severely injured, these directives give you a voice in your care. You may wish to discuss your choices with your provider or to ask questions about the terms and meaning of some of the specific questions in these forms.
Free help signing up for Medicaid, Child Health Plus or Family Health Plus, if you are eligible. St. Mary's has set an estimated cost for every service and product we provide. Although many things can contribute to the total cost of care, we are working to ensure that you can see estimates of these costs.
You may mail or fax forms to request records or send a hand-written letter signed and dated stating the records you need and where to send the records with a number to reach you. You may also call the office to request your records or results by secure e-mail, sign-up for the patient portal, arrange for pick-up or to be mailed to your home.
We began as a simple facility dedicated to providing the finest care and the deepest compassion to every member of our community. Since then, we've grown and evolved from a single hospital into a leading-edge healthcare system providing a wide breadth of lifetime services to residents in and around Montgomery and Fulton counties.
St. Mary's leaders are passionate, mission-driven professionals who are committed to carrying our healthcare system forward, while retaining the excellence in patient care our community has relied upon for more than a century.

In addition to our leadership team, an interdisciplinary committee of physicians, nurses, and other hospital staff and community representatives meets regularly to study and address ethical issues in today's healthcare setting. This committee's ethical consult group is available to weigh in on specific patient care issues at the request of patients, families, and clinical staff.

This hospital seems cold and uncomfortable to me, especially when put in a room waiting for diagnosis. They give you a cold blanket. Seems like you wait forever to see anyone

This is where you go if you want zero help. If i had 10 minutes to live id risk the 15 to 20 minutes to go to another hospital. Runny nose broken bone great. Allt of pain and confusion. Well tbats when a supposedly doctor maybe comes in. They are more worried about covid then there patiences. This is a hospital Joe Biden can get behind. Go with low expectations.

If we are only talking about the rehab facility located on the 3rd floor, then I can't say enough in praising the unit and staff. Counselors cared and they made time to listen to you. It has a small number of patients. While I was there, I don't think the number ever exceeded 10. I believe 15 is max. Groups were good. Lots of give and take. Enough down time during the day as well. Hospital food is typical so expect anything exciting there! If you're serious about getting clean, and you live in or around upstate NY, this is the place for you!

Absolute worst hospital I've ever been to. Every Staff person Ive talked to has been rude. If everyone reads several reviews, the owner only responds to the good reviews. Hmmmm....interesting.

Went here for back surgery with Dr Popper. I will say from the front door to the recovery room I was very happy with the service and the people. Nurses were professional and caring and nice. Anesthesia doctor was friendly, professional and helped me through, I have high anxiety. Dr popper was informative, professional and did a great job. I would recommend this hospital in a heart beat. Thank you for taking care of me.

This place is an absolute joke. Last time I bring any loved one here. The staff could’ve cared less. The lack of empathy and compassion was actually scary. These people picked a career like this and this how they treat people. Brought my 1 1/2 year old in. Poor kid waited 3 plus hours. Had to get him snacks n drinks cause we were in there past dinner n his bedtime. My heart is shattered not only was I concerned enough to bring him to an emergency room. You would think they wouldn’t take what I brought him in for lightly. Somebody that came after got in an out faster. If you have to choose between

They say for each time anger is expressed there are thousands of times that gratitude is not. We become complacent and that it is equal for all.
Obviously an incorrect assumption.
I have had 8 major surgeries in 5 major hospitals in the greater upstate area.
I have had 2 here by Dr. Shen a renowned surgeon in minimal invasive procedure. Frasier was my anesthesiologist. I have never experienced a quality of great attitude and ability to perform together from the time I walked in the entrance doors with the greeter to the Ambulatory Surgery Dept. Grouchy me who NEVER received a response that was

I had the best care while at St. Mary’s maternity unit. I gave birth in January 2020 one week before my 55th birthday. The nurses and doctors where great to my son and I,they didn’t judge me due to my age. I was treated with kindness and respect. Every department was great right down to housekeeping and food service. The food also was very delicious. I didn’t expect that! Complement to the chef...
