I want to start by saying that my experience living here has been great. Maintenance is extremely timely and courteous, the grounds are well kept, and my neighbors are friendly and respectful. I lived here solo and always felt safe in my first floor apartment. I truly felt like my neighbors looked out for me. I really, really, really want to highlight the excellence of the maintenance staff. Most of my work orders I placed were small (clogged drain, loose drawer in fridge, needed a new lightbulb, etc.) but they typically showed up the day of or the next morning. When they showed up they were courteous

I can’t believe I didn’t left a review for these apartments. When my family moved to Georgia from the usvi July of 2018, we checked a few before someone recommended Walden at Oakwood. The moment we drove up to this place we instantly fell in love with it.
I won’t even bother to mention the immaculate condition of apartment and the amenities. These pictures don’t lie like others. The maintenance team was always on the ball! They seem to take pride in their work.
Tina, Brittany and the rest of office were great.
We eventually bought a house at the end of 2018 and I was very sad to leave

My son is a student living here.
In spite of having an email confirming my auto-pay was set up it didn’t work. I became aware of it when they left a delinquent notice on his door. Multiple phone calls to their office went unanswered. I was out of town and could have easily paid the rent online or with a credit card but they had shutdown their computer systems and website for upgrade and could not accept the payment. I sent email after email assuring them I would get the rent paid in a few days when I was back in town.
In spite of the fact that it was their shutting down of their computer system

They want a 60 day notice to move out and that’s fine.
Now I did mess up and gave a 43 day notice and that is on me.
I figured on a fee due to that. I figured I’d lose my deposit, but that was $200. I didn’t know if I would be staying there or not after my 6 month contract expired, looking back I should have sent a notice regardless.
My move out date was 5/7/20
I sent my letter on 3/24/20. The letter needed to be on 3/7/20 to be a full 60 days.
So I got hit for over $700 for 17 day difference on a letter saying I was going to move.
They applied the deposit to the balance and i still

I'd like to make it clear that you are paying for the convenience and amenities. If you are a workaholic like me, and don't mind driving out yonder, this is the place for you. It's a lovely community - they have a children's playground, a pool, a gym, a car port to wash your vehicles, a pet station to wash your dogs, garages to rent out, a dog park, and friendly landlords. The office is willing to help out, and they have 1-3 BD options for everyone. We originally lived in a one bedroom apartment within the complex, but decided to upgrade to a 2 bedroom - the process was quite easy.
