It's the worst place to live!! Very old apartments, everything ruined. I've lived here for 3 years and for 3 years I have a waterfall of water that comes out of the air conditioning, leaving the hallway that leads to the bedroom, soaked, I haven't moved in these 3 years because they, the administration keeps rolling us, with promises that they're going to fix it, they don't keep what they promise, not even to wash the carpet when the contract is renewed and they do. It's absolutely terrible to live here! I don't recommend it at all, you'll regret it!!!

Update: See the response below and know that the apartment residents have gotten the same answer for over a year, and NOW we're in a SEVERE DROUGHT, a more than 100 years SEVERE DROUGHT. Does that ExCuSe cover it for you?
My advice?
NEVER live here!!!
The egregious waste of water that this place continuously commits can be seen from Redwood Road. They water everyday and sometimes twice a day. The sidewalks get so wet, that the city sidewalk on the north side of the property is becoming damaged.

I Thought Id be giving thornhil a 5 star rating. However right before my lease was ending I was served a lease violation weeks before my move about a painting in my window not being allowed which was in my window for several months. This world is compressed enough without my apartment trying to burn out my expressions. I thought this apartment is very tiny and over priced and now I'm paying all this money and i can't have a painting in my window, not worth it. It really set me off. Location is near all the stores but the stores are on the lower end spectrum. So you will probably have to drive down

Thornhill is a very nice property, it is very well located off of Redwood road close to a freeway entrance, shopping and dining options! I went on a tour with Chase and he was very attentive and explained everything clearly as well as answered all the questions I had! Would highly recommend renting from this property the units are clean, the property is well groomed and the management is amazing!

I rented a 400 sq foot apartment and was charged on average 1080.00 a month not including the electric bill. I was charged $400.00 for a pet deposit and $45.00 pet rent per month. This apartment complex then has the audacity to send me a bill for $200.28 after I move out for cleaning fees and utilities! What do they use the pet rent and pet deposit for if not to clean when the tenant moves out? I feel cleaned the unit before I moved turned in the keys and I left the apartment in better condition than they gave it to me in. I was a model tenant and they are a greedy, low class establishment.

The property manager Chase, is amazing!
I just moved in, and he made the whole experience so easy. I’ve lived in quite a few communities, and this was by far the fastest and most simple experience I’ve had. Chase is quick to respond, and answers any questions you may have. He’s very friendly, yet professional and overall a joy to work with.
Thank you Chase!! ❤️

I lived there for 4.5years. My electrical bill was $80-$140 every month with 1bedroom. I complained to power company and apartment management office, but both said nothing wrong with mater. I moved from Las Vegas, so I thought it is very expensive in UT.
I recently moved to other apartment/ 2bedroom with loft, my electric bill is $26.
I don't like to use heater and/or air conditioner, so I don't use much. Thornhill changed refrigerator while we lived there, but didn't make any difference in electric bills. I paid electric bill more than 3-4 times, could be over $100 each month

We moved to Thornhill last year. At first it was fine and management was great. However, they got new management and things went downhill. We had neighbors move in that were always loud. The cops had been to their apartment at least three times. One of those times a battering ram was used (as shown in one of the pictures). These neighbors were allowed to stay even though safety should have been taken into account. We had out final straw when a bullet came through our wall from their apartment. We moved out January 4th. Our contract with Thornhill was up January 31st. We were required to pay for

Moving to Salt Lake from New York City, I had little knowledge about the areas of SLC and how the rental process works, which is extremely different. I have had multiple issues since living hear, including re-signing leases multiple times due to issues with signatures, being given a smoking apartment when my lease was actually signed for a non-smoking apartment, etc. When washers and dryers were "installed" I signed a lease 2 months before they actually were installed and had a closet removed the entire 2 months, and was initially expected to pay the increased rent without having the

These are the worst apartments I have stayed in!! Don't move here and make a mistake I did save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. Only thing I liked was the gym and it's not well looked after because they never fix anything. We had a leaking faucet and mold and they took almost a month after repeated reminders to fix it.
The one thing there good at besides being rude is charging you outrageous fees for anything you could name of. They lure you in saying it's going to be $770 ~ and add every fee they can and before you know it your paying almost a $1000. I was close to suing

Live here if you want to be ripped off by RUDE people.
First, they run monthly specials rewarding residents for their positive reviews...
I lived here for just over a year.
The apartment had 3 different shades of paint. You could tell where they painted over patches and didn't match the color. The windows are thin and you can feel wind around the edges. I had icicles between my window and my shutters. My carpet had spots they wouldn't fix when I moved in.
The hours and amenities changed every 2 months. All of the reasons I moved in were gone by month 6.
The staff are rude. I

My wife stayed here for the month of June due to school and wanted me to give it no stars. Since I dropped her off I saw it, stayed here, and I agree with her. The first apartment they gave us was very dirty, smelly and dark. I went to the office to see if there was a different apartment she could stay in and when the manager and I got back we found my wife crying because this place was so bad. To their credit they gave her a better apartment next door but even that one smelled like smoke and the chairs, couch and carpet were all thoroughly stained. If you are inside the clubhouse or nmt 10

Don't stay here, this place sucks. Their cancellation policy is so lame that it makes you regret every single day you spent here.
I was out of town for over a month, and when I came back at the end of May I had a notice to vacate within 3 days dated back on May 6th. I called the rental office and it is because they stopped my automated payment on the day I submitted my intention to vacate notice, back in middle of April. Apparently I have to start using personal check once I give them 60 day notice. I looked through the lease and found a tiny print indicating this stupid lame policy

The pictures of this place look NOTHING like the actual place- added to that false advertising, the heater was so loud that we didn't get any sleep- the headboard banged against the wall whenever you moved, the fridge was loud as well as the toilet. Also- we had only five minutes of warm water in the morning. In short- we got NO sleep and were uncomfortable during our stay. To top it off, when I complained to the front desk all they said was thanks for letting us know your problems- not a word was said to compensate us for our troubles. DO NOT EVER STAY HERE!!!
