Ninjutsu Defense Arts Center
Niji No Hashi Dojo training develops the spirit through a philosophy's of life called Ninpo. This method emphasizes developing the strength of spirit that enables one to see through the fears and illusions of life and understand the natural workings of the universe so that natural wisdom results and leads to peace of mind and genuine joy.

Training students in Traditional self-defense, tactics, weaponry, proportional response, the Niji No Hashi offers Ninpo a program unlike any other in the martial arts world. Over the years my students have told me their success stories. Stories of increased confidence that led to promotions at work, taking actions that helped them achieve their goals and having people listen to them and take them seriously.
Services
The traditional schools are proven time tested self defense guided by a compassionate heart. During the courses students will gain mental & physical conditioning, with enhanced awareness of their surroundings. Ninpo & Jujutsu as taught under Grandmaster Shoto Tanemura are very traditional & disciplined schools.
Sensei Rodriguez founded the Niji Dojo in New York and the Niji No Hashi Dojo in North Carolina with the goal of training all those who came to him with the sincere desire to master both their own personal challenges and the challenges inherent in learning Jujutsu and Ninpo Bugei.

It is Sensei Rodriguez' fervent hope that any success achieved by his businesses will allow him to open a larger dojo, which will also double as a shelter for battered women and a place to teach self-defense to at-risk children for free.Fostering a sense of self-worth, developing an instinct for danger, and practicing precise self-control are only a few of the lessons Sensei Rodriguez wishes to impart to his students.
The traditional schools are proven, time-tested self-defense techniques-guided by a compassionate heart. Sensei Rodriguez and Sempai Young-Rodriguez had travel to Japan annually. Please visit our testimonials section and consider scheduling a visit to learn more about the spirit of the Niji no Hashi Dojo.
To possess good health, fitness, well-being in the Martial arts, You must strengthen your Courage focus on your discipline to bring true happiness to one's family, to bring peace to the world, you must first discipline and control your own mind body and spirit. If a man or a woman can control one's own mind body and spirit then he or she can find the way to Enlightenment, and then wisdom and virtue will naturally go to them.
Review the instructor's credentials such as; who is their instructor, years of experience, passion, and rank in conjunction with years of consistent training. A skilled martial artist may not be a skilled instructor. Evaluate integrity, effectiveness of the style, can you become proficient in the techniques, and will it improve or worsen the quality of your life.

Sensei Rodriguez is a wise man and also a proficient trainer. He has taught me some life lessons and self-defense techniques that will pay dividends in the future! While I don't enjoy physical activity at this point (hip rehab and being out of shape-that's on me), Sensei Rodriguez has helped me realize the importance of the journey and how the work we do today pays off in the long run. I set out to learn discipline and my journey is just beginning. This is the place to nurture the skills one needs to be physically strong as well as mentally strong. There is emphasis on technique, tradition, and

If you live in the Raleigh, Cary area, count your lucky stars. This by far the most true to form, useful, and enjoyable dojos I have been a part of. Sensei truly cares about his students and their training, unlike most dojos whose only concern is their students' wallets. Since moving to Charlotte I have had no luck whatsoever finding a dojo half this good to join!

When people ask me where they should go to begin their martial arts training, the Niji no Hashi Dojo is the school that I recommend. The dojo offers traditional Japanese martial arts training and instruction that provides students with real, effective, technique for protecting one's self. This school is for those who are interested in learning true budo.

This dojo is one of the few where practical martial arts are taught. Within the first 6 months of training here I felt more self-confident both in terms of self defense in a fight and as a person. One of the philosophies taught here is that the best way to win a fight is to avoid it. The techniques range from subduing (for use on your drunk cousin whom you do not wish to injure) to causing serious injury or death (for use on violent aggressors in an inescapable situation), so the confidence to walk away from or diffuse a hostile situation without needless injury is extremely important. My son and I trained over 4 years with Sensei and enjoyed every session. When my son started college, we dropped out of the dojo and I greatly missed it.
I have since started back with a friend that is a police officer and we train on advanced techniques that are focused on the needs of a police officer. Sensei teaches by demonstrating a technique and then guides us through each part of a technique. We are encouraged to work the technique slowly and many times. Sensei is careful to train us at the level that we are fit and skilled enough to manage safely and encourages our growth.

I have been training here for three years now, and have greatly enjoyed it. Genbukan Ninjutsu is a practical, highly effective martial art and Sensei likes to focus on street application of everything that we learn. This in not a 'black belt factory' dojo...high ranking students are very skilled practitioners of the martial arts.
The dojo is a very collaborative learning environment, where senior students take it upon themselves to assist Sensei in teaching the more junior students. I enjoy this environment both for the extra teaching eyes on me while I practice, and for the opportunity to impart

I have 2 daughters training in this center for 2 years with SanSei Rodriguez. I have noticed them grow physically stronger and more confident over this period of time. Not only they are learning the art of self defense, they have also learned tons of other life skills which will help them to prepare for highly competitive world. I am very pleased with Ninjustu Art Center and plan to have my kids stay here for a long time.
