Please don’t rent here. It seems like a nice place but they will charge you so much money when your lease is up. They also take a $600 non refundable security deposit but then charge you hundreds of dollars more after you move out for petty things. Plus, there is a LOT of crime here. I came home from work to find an entire swat team with dogs (no joke) bust through our neighbors door looking for someone. When I called the front office about it, they had no idea anything was happening. I’ve never had such a terrible experience as I did at Prairie Hills.

Absolute worst place to live ever. If I could give a negative rating I would. Staff was awful about communication and just overall not responsible. One time an employee didn’t lock the door to the leasing office and my packages got stolen. The apartment was outrageously over priced. The grounds keepers did a terrible job with up keep of facilities and landscape. They are the worst place to live in Spokane, I’d rather sleep outside.

I am very disappointed in my time at prairie hills, and everything that came after moving out. You get charged a $600 non refundable deposit when you first move in and then when you move out they send you an itemized bill of all “damages” we were charged an additional $642 for damages… So basically they are saying we did over $1200 worth. They charged us for a broken keyless entry card that sat in a drawer the entire time we lived there considering it was for access to the pool and gym that we were not allowed to use because of Covid-19 restrictions. We were charged for a damaged bathroom

Critical: Value
Seriously, don’t bother living here. They were going to up our rent payment by almost 600 dollars a month, so we bought a house instead. We pay less for our mortgage than we did for rent there. Also, not only do they take a non refundable deposit, they will send you a bill with extra charges after you move out.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! I was a tenant for over a year, when I gave birth I had complications and could not take care of myself and my baby so I had to move to where family was. I called to let them know, and I cleaned the apartment and left it nice, but wa unable to do the through with them. They took advantage of this and claimed there were “damages” to all the blinds when they were fine, not even dented. I made sure it was nice and clean and not damaged before I left. I moved out on the 4th of September and paid full months rent, and they did not move someone in before October so they are charging

My daughter lived her and was overcharged for damage that was there (and noted) in the original walk through. She fought it and won, but what a hassle.

DO NOT RENT HERE! They charge $600 to everyone for cleaning and then have the same BS charges for everyone after they move out. We lived in apartment temporarily waiting on our house and they Charged for blind, drip pan, light bulbs, garage sweep, carpet cleaning. My wife was pregnant and we did DoorDash the whole time didn't even cook, never used blinds, and all light bulbs worked. We called front desk because neighbors warned us about their nickel and dimming after move out. One neighbor was charged $75 to replace a working fridge lightbulb so I called the front desk in advance and they said

They're just slumlords with nice looking apartments.
Be careful, they might also receive your notice to move out yet continue to send you a bill for 2500 claiming that they never recieved a notice to move. DO NOT MOVE HERE! The office is incompetent and they like to strong arm residents with their obsurb policies. This place is a garbage pit.

Beautiful place to live and very quiet from my experience. loved living here! spent the last year here and plan to move out soon for college. friendly and helpful staff! I have had a few issues with broken things but they are always fast to fix it. and give plenty of notice before entry.
protect and close your garage though! someone stole my summer tires in there! :(
although this part of Spokane isn't the prettiest or safest they created a space where I feel comfortable and love to walk around!
10/10 if you are willing to pay a few extra dollars for a nice place!

After the initial battle getting the apartment and move in date we were promised, it's been a good experience. The apartment is huge. Lots of storage. The grounds are clean. Neighbors are quiet. Zero road noise. So far it's been good.

Recently my washer stoped working, it filled up and washed but would not drain. I thought the unit needed replacing. Sumbitted a work order and staff came by a couple of hours latter. Turns out the latch that triggers the drain and move to next cycle when the lid is closed needed replacing. That was a terrific news did not fancy having the staff bail out the washer. Thanks for the quick repair!!
