Welcome to Monterey Gardens Apartments, conveniently located in a great central Tucson location that is minutes from everything Tucson has to offer. Enjoy the convenience of great shopping and dining at any of the many great nearby midtown restaurants. We offer THREE great apartment floor plans that are all very spacious, and all feature superior sound insulation due to our solid block wall and concrete floor construction.

The system will notify you that there is a "processing delay" of up to a few days which is normal. Rent is due on the 1st of each month per your rental agreement. As long as you submit your payment before the opening of business hours on the 4th day of the month you will NOT incur a late fee. The system will time stamp your transaction and the office will credit your payment according to the exact date & time you hit the "submit" button.

Scott the manager is super unprofessional. Hopefully everyone reads these reviews before moving in. Any of them with a 4 star review and up is probably the office making fake accounts so they can try and look better. You can't, you guys are awful. Very poor management and upkeep. Very dangerous apartment complex. Loud, drugs everywhere, creepy people around at night and the dogs howling all night. Stay far away from here. The office management does not care.

It has drastically decreased in quality .
9 out of 10 are junkies and the cops are there every other day or night.
They have a crazy amount of car break ins.
They let basically anyone move in.
They say they have cameras but really only on the office.
I lived there for 4 years and the new management basically turned it in to the Carter crack apartments.
Dont ever try and save a few bucks by living here cause you'll drastically regret it

Constant fights, car break ins, dogs barking, and multiple shootings in 2018. This place is very dangerous to live in. Not to mention the absentee management, or lack of any on site staff aside from the maintenance guy.
That response you left is a blatant lie. Specifically, about the shootings and car break ins. There was a murder earlier this year, 2 guys got into over it over politics and a guy named Wade was shot and killed. No more than 2 weeks ago an apartment was broken into, and there were shots. For some reason there weren't any charges filed, so I dont have more information

Don't come here office is incredibly rude, along with the jobless drunk on the 2nd floor who is constantly wandering around making false reports on neighbors she doesn't like. And the office has the nerve to try to write you up off her word alone with 0 investigations. She actually barged in on me rambling about my girlfriend and I forced her out, a week later she does the same to a friend of mine in the complex. Both instances were reported to the office and the lady tells me she will handle it but literally did nothing as she's still there and stumbling about to this day. Needless to say I did

Worst complex I've ever lived in. They won't allow me to move or transfer to another NorthStar property, even though there was a murder here, even though 3 days after the murder my car was broken into, even though I have made it clear I don't feel safe. Also, don't bother putting in a work order ever, matainence is a joke. I have been asking for a new air filter for almost 2 years, maybe I'll get one this week, but I'm not holding my breath. Less then 6 months and my lease is up, and I'm out. If you are smart and you are looking to rent, you will look elsewhere. Read reviews, actually read them

I have lived here over 8 years and I LOVE it here! Yes, there have been times when management wasn't available, but if I needed to discuss something with the manager I would just call the number listed on the office door and someone would contact me the same day without fail. It is mostly quiet here with the exception of summer breaks and people using the pool, which I live next to. The noise has not been an issue for me though. The rent has gone up over the years, which reflects the normal cost of living increases that happen to everyone. I think it is a great value for the location and size of

I honestly can't stand this complex for a number of reasons. They raised rent prices with no warning, They turned off our heat and turned on the AC while it was still freezing outside, there's currently TWO out of the four dryers out of order, the pool that is suppose to be free to use during day light hours is pad locked, and on top of all of that I haven't seen our manager or a maintenance worker in weeks! Trash has blown out of the community trash can into the parking lot, once again our dryers aren't working, our pool is closed, there is no manager, cars sit parked with flat tires for months

NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY! Save your time and avoid this place. Management is unfriendly, rude and overall highly unpleasant. I regret ever living there. It's practically going vacant and living there showed me why. I read other reviews and the management practically attacks any bad review and I wouldn't be surprised if she write fake reviews to get positive ratings! It takes practically forever to get anything fixed, when you complain about something on the property needing to be fixed, i.e. soda machine or dryer, she gives you a number to call. That was BY FAR the rudest thing an apartment manager
