I ordered delivery catering over a month ago for 25 people (added on chafing dishes and churros too) for $405. On the day of the party, absolutely no one showed up or contacted me - I'm assuming they just completely forgot. We paid in-full on July 25 for our party on August 3.
I was in a panic when I realized no one was showing up with our food. I would strongly discourage anyone from using Famoso Catering for any event...ever. Angel at Fomoso Catering "hired a professional videographer" to video the food at my wedding (without ever asking and later telling me "we send it to the couples so they have a video of the food" - WHO WOULD WANT THIS? I've already hired a videographer? Angel did this purely for Famoso's promotional marketing - I have yet to see the video). We had Famoso at our wedding on 3/18/2017 and it was freaking AWESOME. I cannot convey well into words how good the food was but I will make an attempt here. They make the tortillas on site which is extremely next level in my opinion. The sauces were delicious and actually one of them was really hot which we were stoked about, instead of trying to wash it down for the masses. I was able to try this food truck when it came to our office building to serve lunch. I was craving tacos and thought I'd give it a shot. The menu online was not the same as what they were offering that day, so I was a little disappointed that what I wanted was not on the menu, but oh well. I ordered the 2 Gourmet Taco Combo for $10 and got 1 Cali Taco and 1 Grilled Fish Taco (even though I received a battered fish taco), I ate it anyway since I did not notice til I was already back at my desk on the 3rd floor and didn't want to go back out into the rain. I was luckily able to try Famoso's taco catering at a friend's softball game last Sunday and it was great. They offered Carne Asada, Pollo and Pork tacos on the grill (3 at a time), pinto beans and spanish rice as sides, spicy carrots, limons, queso and your choice of salsas. My plate was full and I enjoyed every bite. They provide the napkins, plates, and utensils. They played music while they served too.
I would definitely hire them on for a catering gig sometime!

Hubby and I were able to taste their tacos because they were part of today's San Diego Taco Festival and we bought tacos from them, 3 for $6 and 2 for $8 combinations.. They were good, I liked the pork tacos with the cheese/queso, however, 4 stars only because they slightly burnt the cheese on Hubby's taco.. But overall, it tasted good.

My friend had this taco cart in his backyard for his birthday bash last night. They were only supposed to be there for 2 hours, but stayed longer, so I was able to try the fish tacos and a queso taco. I was disappointed that those were the only options, but at least they were good!
They grill the fish and make the tortillas fresh! It was easy to help myself to the salsas and extra condiments too. There were even red tortillas chips! Service was friendly and fast- I recommend them for parties and special events since they have everything you need for a taco party!

Food was decent**, though we had an issue with their food labeling and service. They didn't indicate that they served food with Ranch dressing, for which my wife has an allergy. Most places, after letting them know this once food is served, will provide another plate without the offending ingredient. To us, instead, they said they wouldn't. So, while the food was decent (for those of us who could eat it) the service was lacking. CHECK THE INGREDIENTS CAREFULLY. They don't appear to be in the habit of fixing orders, even when their menu is less than clear. We won't be eating
