Exceptionally rude and we couldn't leave fast enough.
Came in with my fiancé to ask about wedding bands and was talked down to and made to feel like an idiot for asking if he could work with tungsten or titanium. Instead of simply saying, "No, I'm afraid those are difficult materials to work with and I do not have the correct equipment", he implied they were unnatural materials and told us, several times in an aggressive tone, how it would break his equipment and how impossible it is and so on.
Instead he tried to sell us gems and metals well outside our stated budget, like a used car salesman

I worked with Cal to design a solitaire engagement ring that was completely our own using a computer program. The program allowed us to customize every feature of the ring, from the shape of the band to the type and width of the prongs. Cal provided excellent guidance based on his years of experience to maximize comfort and function. It took about 3 weeks for the ring to be received by Cal who then mounted the diamond for us and did some additional work to the ring. Cal charged a fair price for his work. Needed a minor repair on a silver plain band that split open. I was worried that the repair would be more then the cost of this (sentimental) ring, but the cost to fix was MUCH lower then expected and very affordable. The job was done very quickly (told 3 days, took 2 days, so 1 day early), and when I got the ring back, the work was FLAWLESS... I could not see the seam from the soldering work. It looked so nice that I (jokingly) accused the shop of just replacing the ring with a new one! The items in the shop are also lovely. If I ever need anything repaired (especially if I want the job done

Cal is fantastic. When I needed my engagement ring repaired he did a fantastic job, the price was fair, and the repairs were timely. He is incredibly knowledgeable and provides excellent customer service. Not only does Cal know his stuff, but he is also local-no chain stores for me! I highly recommend this is your first stop for jewelry repair or a new purchase!

I first heard about Goldmark from a friend who had an opal wedding ring designed here. Cal just finished an unusual project for me: I brought in an antique Victorian locket. He replaced the stone with a natural ruby, replaced the photos, and matched it with a beautifully patinated antique gold chain.

I took a shot in the dark and brought my engagement ring to be re-sized here (based on other Yelp reviews) and I couldn't be happier. I first called earlier in the week and the owner answered and was very friendly. My fiance and I showed up later in the week with the ring and to my surprise he was actually able to fit it in that day and it was done an hour later (I was fully expecting to be without it for a week)! Very nice guy. If I ever need any jewelry worked on again, this is certainly where I will go.
