Sunset Animal Hospital
Camp Sunset has a unique history in the Fairfield-Vacaville-Suisun community. It blossomed under the direction of Sunset Animal Hospital, the area's trusted veterinary hospital and family veterinarian. For almost 30 years, Sunset Animal Hospital has offered comfortable and secure pet lodging through its veterinary facility.

In 2011, we built a new facility to take the boarding to a new level of care. We take pride in our abilities to provide Solano County with a high level of service for boarding and doggy daycare. As our relationship with our animal companions has strengthened, so has our desired level of care. Building Relations: Our counselors strive to build bonds with clients and each other.
Services
You work hard to ensure that your furry family member has the best possible life. That's why partnering with a veterinary provider who genuinely cares for you both is so important. At Sunset Animal Clinic, we are proud to offer a comprehensive range of services to address your pet's specific veterinary needs.
Prior to her job at Sunset, she worked as a manager and buyer in the paper industry for 8 years. She graduated with an AAS in 1986 and a BA in General Business in 1988. Laura is an integral part of our management team! In her me-time, Laura loves to bake, read, assemble puzzles. She also enjoys photography.
He started out working as a Camp Counselor at Camp Sunset and moved over to the hospital side as a veterinary assistant and is now one of our main Registered Veterinary Technicians! Rob is a retired Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force for 21 years. Rob's hobbies are traveling and photography, which, since he's been to 50 countries, should make for a spectacular collection of pictures!
She left for some time to do some traveling with her husband and daughter. She came back to Sunset this year in February and we are so happy that she is back with the team! Prior to working at Sunset, she worked for Wonderbread for 12 years. Vickie became a Massage Practitioner through the Integrative Therapy School of Massage.
She has been in the veterinary industry for 15 years! She started out as a kennel attendant in a large veterinary practice in Sacramento and worked her way up to a veterinary assistant for a veterinary dental specialist, Dr. Kornfeld. Jamie has attended a veterinary technology program and has gained experience in patient care, client education, and emergency medicine.

Very friendly and professional with reasonable prices. I don't know why it's getting negative reviews.

I can’t believe the negative reviews. The front desk employees are always pleasant and helpful. The Dr’s are thorough and understanding. I have never had a bad experience in 5 years . I also don’t understand why people say they are overpriced and rip people off. As far as my experience they are comparable to the vets I used in Burlingame and Menlo Park.

Very unhappy with the treatment my dog received here. I explained the severity of the problem and I feel they didn't acknowledge this. So I basically spent $700 for them to give me some meds and put a bandaid on my dog. Three days later I'm taking her somewhere else to spend 1k for surgery that they should have either scheduled to begin with or performed initially. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I just feel the treatment plan and how they handled the whole thing was wrong.

The way this place does business is criminal. quoted me 1200+ dollars for a single tooth extraction that wasn't and still isnt necessary. My buddy's dog had 5 teeth pulled for 800 locally. shady business taking advantage of people's love for their animals. On top of that they overdosed my 8 lb dog when it was booster time, it's always been a 2 session ordeal because it's to much medicine for her body weight. Cracker Jack box vets.
