I’m sorry to say but does management ever check on the section 8 people ? I’ve seen people coming in and out of an apartment (I’m not going to say which), I do know that they are on section 8 and it just really concerns me about all these people coming in and out, long and short periods breaking the rules they should be following ? I know one of the many rules that applies is, not allowing guests to stay longer then the the Conservative days... which is 2 weeks !

I’ve lived here for two winters now, and both times, my building’s stairs have become an icy safety hazard. The gutter on the roof is clogged just above the stairs, causing rain water and snow runoff to spill right over the side of the rain gutter and onto the top step of our staircase. It becomes a death trap. They’ve never salt our stairs in two years, I’ve witnessed my neighbors having to take care of the problem themselves. I have lived here for over 3 years now and with the winters and nothing ever being done with the icy stairs or the snow in the parking lot being unable to leave for work. My daughter has slipped down the stairs. And 2 years ago I slipped down the stairs while pregnant with her. I filed a complaint with management at the time and they said there wasn't anything they could do. I was told recently then my daughter slipped that we are responsible for cleaning off the stairs and cleaning around our cars to get out of our spots. Covered and uncovered.

I am so incredibly impressed with the staff at Stillwater apartments. This is my second time living in this complex because of the stellar customer service I have received. I needed a place to move to move to and a quick turn around time, and the team went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were taken care of. I also love the maintenance staff who is prompt in taking care of all my maintenance requests. If you are thinking of living here, don't. While it's true that the maintenance team is nice, the only real positive thing about this place is the cute ducks. I lived here for 4 years until several men with criminal backgrounds were allowed to move in and sell drugs from their apartment. One of these men then burned down my apartment building. The office staff has been extremely inconsiderate, unhelpful, has hindered my attempts to retrieve my things and get my rent for July refunded, never answers the phone or returns calls, and is downright rude. Moving is always so draining, but change of scenery is good. Although we weren't able to see the apartment before we moved in-they were still working on it. We were told we were getting an updated unit but all they did was paint over, cleaned everything, does have some really cool blinds. Also the 2nd bedroom was a lot smaller than we thought. There's no storage. But it is a much better place than where we used to live. The major downfall is that rent is so high so it's going to be a big struggle.

UPDATE: After calling multiple times, I was contacted via email. I never left my email on the voicemail message, so I'm assuming they used the email I had on file when I was a resident. In this email I was informed that a final bill had been sent to me via the same email, back in 2020, but the email "bounced back". I don't see how this could be possible as there was clearly no issue contacting me via email instead of calling me back as I had asked. I tried to get a tour of 2bdr units at this apartment complex, so I showed up within business hours. They told me I had to have an appointment. So, I scheduled an appointment for an apartment tour, for 2wks later and worked it into my schedule (which is difficult for me). Alright! Having had an intense conversation (that was full of tears and warm apologies) with Hong, I have decided to revise my review. Hong is one of the wonderful employees for Stillwater apartments. She gave me a stern rebuke which I may have deserved! She mentioned something about a sandwich method of constructive criticism. I'm very disappointed with these apartments as a whole. I'm not one to write reviews, but this felt necessary. The customer service should be much better. I can never get a hold of anyone when I call, and if they do answer, they are very unhelpful. I've been told I will get an email from them for over a week and have not received one. They are not friendly and seem very annoyed when I speak with anyone. I wouldn't recommend dealing with these apartments, it's a big hassle.

This is a long one. I have only been here about a month but I have been very disappointed in the customer service I've received. I rented a washer and dryer from the complex but they had not been delivered by the time I moved in (August 10th). When I called the office to find out why and when they would be delivered I was told Appliance Warehouse had trouble with the keys but they would be delivered that following Monday (August 13th). I didn't even live here, but after my experience with the girls in the office, I will never go back! My boyfriend and I walked in, no greetings, 2 girls sitting at their desks, after sitting for a minute, Jordan greeted us and was so cold! We wanted to just walk through an apartment to see if we would like it, she told us we couldn't because we only had one ID....she was extremely rude and unprofessional.

Read the reviews. I have spent $800 mo and was treaded every month so badly. I wish I remembers the employeess names especially the manager. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU avoid this place if you can. If your not LDS abd have a family I think your Chances are poor at least to not feel hounded.

It's true what another person said about the air conditioning going out and no one fixing it. The maintenance takes a long time to respond. If you been a renter here for a long time, they don't treat you as good as a new renter. The fridges here are very old looking - back in the 1950's.

Now that I have finally given my notice, I can write this review without any fear of retribution from the Management. This place is awful, I can't say it enough times so I am only going to say it twice, STAY FAR AWAY.
I have lived here for two years, and when I came in, it wasn't all that bad. Yeah, the stairs were a little broken and the landscaping wasn't the cleanest, but I was younger and thought it was just part of living in a bigger community like this. This apartment will do nothing to address issues that the law does not force them to do. Want your car towed because it is leaking oil or has a flat tire, Then rent here.
Is your air conditioner broke and your sweating well too bad that not an emergency at all to them.
Trust me I personally got my car towed. I personally had my air conditioner go out and after 7days nothing done to fix it. Sure rent here and pay outrageous prices and get told your not worth our help.

Terrible! Do not rent here.. they are going to give you a price at move in but I guarantee you will not ever be billed the price you were told it would be again! You will always find yourself fined, charged fees for the most ridiculous things and then just run around when you try to resolve the issues. Even if you provide paperwork and proof showing the reason for disputing charges, they will ignore it and just bully you with their constant legal threats. DONT RENT HERE! Don't let the nice complex make you overlook the red flags or warning signs!! If you want an accurate review of these apartments
