I moved out of this apartment in December 2020 after signing a roommate addendum absolving me of liability to transfer my lease that would end on April 2021. Since that time, I've received several threatening phone calls from the complex. They threaten my credit and legal action. This has been ongoing since I moved out. The current tenant re-signed in April when the previous lease expired. I am not on that re-signed lease anywhere in name or in signature. They continue to call and threaten me and my mom for lapses in various things at the complex I haven't lived at for over a year. They

If I could rate this place a zero I would. I lived here from March 2017 until October 2021. In that time I had numerous issues with my space, some of which I was gaslit or just plain refused help for.
The smaller issues I had over those 4 years were:
- no light for my stairwell area for a year. If I came home after a certain time of night, the stairwell was pitch black.
- several months with no working air conditioner in summer. The fan would run, but there was no cooling. They finally replaced a part that fixed it, but only after I reported the same issue from June to August.
- a roach infestation
The smaller issues I had over those 4 years were:

Well….You the cockroaches and water bugs will be eating together, sleeping together you might find some in your sink! You’ll definitely find some in your cabinets, and appliances…yes including the unsealed refrigerators! The neighbors will drop a paper clip and walk lightly with socks and you’ll hear everything! Need someone to talk to? Great! You’ll be greeted with disgruntled and overworked staff who are done handling random nonsense. Perhaps since everyone has the same problems like pest control and things, make that a regular check? Naa no logical thinking here! Just pay them!

Love my new Apartment. The property Manger Rosemary took care of my apartment so well. Tasha was very helpful as well she is very sweet and easy to work with. The team is great! I'm so glad to call this place my home. Pool is well kept up. The office space is very neat. And I cant express how grateful I am with this place.

Westdale creek is a nice, quiet community. The apartments are outdated, but it truly seems like the maintenance + repair team has been really diligent in making sure apartments are clean and “renovated” for move in. Yes, there are some bugs. But I’ve never lived anywhere in Austin where there isn’t bugs—and the location is woodsy and secluded (that’s good!). Definitely outweighs the occasional bug. After being told to "stop by the leasing office at my earliest convenience" in response to a google review, I went to the office to discuss one way in which my lease contract was violated and was met with hostility by Rosemary and Grace who refused to accept responsibility for their wrongdoing. After being told their office was closed for covid precautions, I took a phone call outside with legal counsel. Rosemary actually CALLED THE COPS ON ME and said I was a "screaming woman" to try to intimidate me and get me to leave since they clearly didn't want to deal with the issue

I was looking for an apartment close to work, and I searched all around. This one is definitely the best complex that I found and they’ve stepped up their game since those old reviews. That Victor guy isn’t around anymore. Tasha and Rosemary helped me out A TON. Tasha was great with handling my file, and she let me know where everything was at every single step of the way. Once I moved in, there were a couple of small issues, and all of those issues were solved within a week. I’m definitely happy with my decision to move here, and this place was the best place for the price in the neighborhood

If i could rate this complex zero stars i would. The first interaction we had with the staff in the office should’ve alerted me to their level of unprofessionalism. Not only did the apartment smell of cat urine we were called “crazy” and “stupid”. The leasing agent then proceeded to walk away from us and leave. after returning to the office on our own the door was found to be locked. when we knocked the manager opened the door only to be rude. when asked to repair mold and carpets throughout the apartment.

Poor management. The AC in the gym has been turned off since ages. Not a single gym equipments function. You will get half filled or empty diet coke bottles from the vending machine. Swimming pool is poorly maintained. Staircase lights are broken in many buildings. Moreover, the entire premises is supposed to be smoking free, although, neighbors don't bother complying with the rules.

Beware of this apartment rental place. management will not communicate with tenants in any way. Watch out for associate named Lisa and the FAT White Female manager, they are conniving evil and will make money off of people any chance they get. Do your research and make sure to not consider this apartment rental company or anything affiliated with them.

Great apartments to be in. Victor one of the managers is friendly and easy to work with. These are in a great location close to downtown and also close to the domain easy to get everywhere and also in a discreet area where you feel private. The upgraded units are very nice and I would highly recommend not too much to complain about this place very satisfied.

Poor communication with residents. Horrible and/or poorly managed water system (water still not on at a consistent basis as we near 3 weeks without consistent water). Virtually 0 updates on the status of the water, 0 assistance was provided by Westdale Creek to the residents. They will pretend like they helped, but everything they provided was donated by someone else and given to us. They have offered 0 types of reimbursement despite their own poor management being the reason we are in this situation.
I would never recommend this apartment complex to anyone.

The new owners are rude. Management is lackluster. Last night I was unable to sleep in my apartment because of paint and construction fumes from an apartment below me. I went back the next morning after leaving the windows open all night and it still smelled. I did not receive a notice at all. I called. They said it's policy. Avoid this place at all costs. The managers don't like investing in their property. I have a broken toilet and a tub that is falling apart. They painted over it and it started to crack. I'm moving out as soon as I can.

This place deserves zero stars. Don't let the trees fool you, these apartments are OLD and they have not done much to upgrade it. In the first month that I lived here, they had to shut the water off 4x to fix the laundry area and building water. So far the list of repairs keep going: leak under the sink, clogged toilet, broken garbage disposal, dishwasher doesn't drain. To makes matters worst, the walls are so thin that I can hear my neighbors upstairs with their dog all day playing ball, yelling, and their every move.

Only giving one star because I couldn't give less. I toured this apartment with my daughter a year ago. They showed us a unit that was 2 br 1 bath and vaulted ceiling. Newer appliances and clean. We filled out the application online as soon as we left. The next morning when we called to ask if it was received, they said yes but that unit had been rented out. We had driven 7 hours to Austin and were on a time crunch. School was about to start and we were running out of time. They offered my daughter a 1 br/ 1 bath...for the same price as the 2br. One word: Roaches. I literally had to kill another one just now while I was writing another review.
Every time I'd put in a maintenance request, their pest control guy would come in, but he'd only put a few dots of insecticide in all the generic places; under the sink, the stove, etc. But the thing is, that's not even where the roaches would come from.
As I mentioned in another review, there was a time last month where I was up all night killing roaches that kept crawling from every part of my kitchen. It got to the point where I called a friend at 2 am asking if I could stay

I'd like you to scroll down through to my previous comment. Notice that Sue responded because it's probably her job to make it look a certain way on yelp... I did JUST that and contacted all of the staff there and even went above that and called Corporate. Not one of them did anything for me and they made my experience terrible in the way they treated me in that process. Good luck to anyone moving in there... you'll need it! I am so happy I didn't choose to move there! :-)

I really enjoy living here. I love this area of Austin because it's close enough to central Austin to not feel too far away from everything, but it's just far enough to miss the craziness of the city and traffic. It's a pretty safe area and beautiful environment with lots of hills, trees and even deer.
The staff is extremely nice and understanding (ask for Ola!). And the rent prices are considerably cheaper than a lot of places in Austin - the apartments are a bit older so that's probably why, but I haven't had any major issues that would steer me away.

Garbage apartment.
I lived in the studio apartment for a year and a half and could not be happier to be gone. The actual apartment is in such a need of a makeover.... they are SLOWLY upgrading from garbage laminate to meh laminate floors. My walls and carpet were the same color of brown paper bag it absorbed what little light made it into the apartment. There were no ceilings lights/fans. The only lights were in the kitchen and bathroom. During one maintenance call fixing a wall electric socket that went out, the repair man found TWO others that were not working as well. I still don't know

I've been living here for the past year. Generally, the reviews here are mostly correct. I haven't experienced mold, but wouldn't be surprised if there was some I'm not seeing. The apartments in this area are mostly older complexes which have been around since the 70s, so these places have seen a fair share of tenants and weathering.
If you don't get an updated unit, then prepare for older appliances, pretty awful cabinetry, and that terrible popcorn celings. On top of this all, the windows are single paned and doors can be drafty (so prepare for higher than average cooling

Management is AWFUL.
I've had multiple incidents involving rent payments and I have only been here for 6 months. Management does not understand how ledgers and online payments work. While living here, management has changed 3 times and with no improvement whatsoever.
After attempting to pay rent for December, I got a notification that my check had been reversed. As soon as possible (dec 3) I called management in order to resolve the issue. Upon explaining my situation, the manager (Lisa at the time) told me that she was presently looking at the ledger and it showed that the issue had been
