Worst experiences of my life, have diagnosed PTSD from living here, not a friendly place for disabled people. The random roommate selection put me in an arrangement in which my other 3 roommates knew each other, leaving me outcasted. I felt constantly harassed by my roommates with them waiting outside my door, ambushing me when I needed to use common areas (even after repeated requests we communicate in text for important matters as I struggle with auditory processing), continuously reporting me for the same violation using old/repeated evidence. I felt hostage in my own apartment and scared to

Spent a lot of time looking for an apartment and I was happy I found Signature. They were patient and answered all my questions. A lot of the bad reviews for Signature are just upset residents who didn't get a "good deal" or a "big discount". All in all, I'm living here for the rest of my time at the University of Texas.

Do yourself a favor - run from this place. My daughter has a misfortune to rent a room with these people. Total disaster! The contract is concocted the way that you owe everything to Signature 1909, and they have no obligations towards you (devised for contract inexperienced kids). They will bombard you with additional charges and will threaten to ruin your credit if you do not pay. My daughter woke up one night to see a man in her room - turned out to be their security guy. Signature 1909's response - not their fault. Money hungry people who do not care about anything else, leave alone tenants

Truly the worst place to live in West Campus. If I could put 0 stars, I would. I got in by appeal to UT as a transfer so needless to say, I was desperate to find an apartment since my decision arrived so late. Therefore, my parents and I toured countless apartments in the pursuit of finding one that was available. We finally found a room that seemed ideal at Signature 1909. The leasing agent made us look at the model unit and told us that my apartment was going to be almost identical and that the only thing that would change was the kitchen island. We immediately applied and signed the lease, paying

I lived here for the past year! I have to say I love it. The complex is very safe, close to campus, and Laura one of the managers there is always helpful! Maintenance is always quick when something is broken too. Many of the reviews say something about wifi never working. My roommates and I personally haven't had many issues with the wifi. Maybe once or twice but it wasn't a recurring issue. Definitely recommend one of the 4x4 units! It was the biggest living area I've seen in west campus and great for entertaining. I would live here again if I wasn't called to live in my sorority house! I will

Signature was okay. Great location, clean building, amenities, and staff. I also luckily never had a bad experience with maintenance. But, there are cons to living here. First, the wifi is terrible. I would always have to connect and reconnect, turn off and turn on the wifi on my laptop, tv, and I was never be able to connect it to other devices because they needed a stronger connection. I never had my phone connected to the wifi because my cellular data was 3 times faster then it. Accessing Zoom was a nightmare for me too. Secondly, one of the elevators would brake at least every month. This means

Lived here for a year, tried somewhere new, and then came back for another year. The place is beautiful, some of the best views in wampus, and their staff truly goes ABOVE and BEYOND! Due to a series of unfortunate events I ended up being late for my move out; maintenance and cleaning staff came together to help me, even going so far as to help me load up my car!! It was the kindest thing someone has done for me in a while. Special recognition to Dwitt for always having a smile on his face and being so kind! LIVE HERE! You won’t regret.
Note: I see a lot of people complaining about maintenance

I just graduated but lived here with my sister for the past 2 years and it’s the best apartment complex i’ve lived at!! The girl named Sierra at the front desk is so friendly and always helps my sister and I whenever we have an issue!! Great interpersonal skills and great staff overall! Everyone is very nice there! :)

Signature is adequate; however, I have never had this many maintenance issues anywhere. Out of many other things, our air conditioning/heating has NOT worked all semester and as you know, the winter storm here in Texas has made it extremely cold. I have made service requests, called the front desk, called the emergency line, and over the course of 4 days (the weekend) we were never helped and our apartment has stayed at a whopping 50 degrees all weekend! So warm!!! I made another call today, so hopefully they will actually follow through with what they say they’re gonna do this time. Another

Lived here for a couple months and honestly enjoyed it. Compared to a lot of the other places in West Campus, it's not too bad. Yeah the management and help can leave more to be desired, but they get it done. The amenities are nice too. Great gym and fun pool area. It's a bit on the pricey end, but all in all I don't really have any big complaints.

DO NOT LIVE HERE. The staff is so rude and unhelpful. When I moved in, my kitchen sink water did not drain properly and took hours to drain it was disgusting. We filed a maintenance request ASAP and they took weeks to fulfill it. My water pressure was low and again I filed a request that took weeks to get fulfilled. A few weeks ago, I got a new roommate assignment and staff just barged into my apartment and let us know less than a week in advance. Also my water charges are around $60 every month because the metering through Simplebills is improper. Not worth it, definitely would not recommend this

Please don't live here. The expensive nature of this apartment is not worth the poor management and the building's inferior design.
To begin, the apartment has a "secure" bike room that is accessible from the outside. The "secure" door was faulty, and I notified the front desk of this twice. Given that my bedroom was 80 sqft, I was forced to leave my bike in the bike room anyways. Fast forward a few weeks, someone breaks into the bike room (because of the faulty door I notified the front desk about twice) and manages to steal over a dozen bikes (including mine)

I would never recommend anyone to move in here , helped my daughter move in aug. 16th , when we walked into the apartment, I noticed how filthy the place was , there was hair all over the " sanitized " bathroom floor , the kitchen had food splatter stains all over the wall , stove and dish washer , the refrigerator was also dirty. Some of the cabinets are damaged . Parking sucks . It's just outrageous how you'd expect a nice move in environment for almost $1900 a month . Spoke to another tenant who also moved inn and said their unit was also dirty. DO NOTOVE IN HERE !

Do not live here. They require simple bills for your utilities which is a trap that charges more for the service fee than the actual utilities. The units are standard and unremarkable. Every new complex in west campus is the same, signature 1909 is no different. It is ridiculously overpriced to live in a windowless, shoe box. The SMART housing costs have extra additional fees so you might as well not have SMART housing at all. The monthly cost for parking is $160, but be prepared to have your car broken into and even towed from a "gated garage" that is always broken. The management company takes

Not sure why everyone likes to hate on this spot. There's actually a lot going well for the place. Apartments are modern and look trendy. The building has its own pool and gym which is pretty convenient. The parking situation is definitely not as bad as I've heard it is. My only complaint is that security seems essentially non-existent. Anyone can walk in the lobby (I have seen a homeless man chilling in there once) and the garage is open sometimes. Other than that though, I have no complaints. Rent is a bit high, but it is starting to get higher everywhere regardless.

If you have a daughter...DO NOT LET HER LIVE HERE. The security door on the parking garage has not worked for the past 3 months, and my daughter was chased by a homeless man in this garage upon returning home from class this week. When I took this up with management I was told by one person that they cannot use the door because people run into it, and her superior told me that the door was operable (this is just not true). The AC in my daughters unit has not been working for 3-4 weeks despite several maintenance requests, and promises that it had been fixed. The excuse for this was that it is

I am only leaving one star because I do not have the choice to leave 0. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOR AND NEVER EVER EVER LIVE IN THIS HORRIBLE BUILDING. The worst management I have ever experienced in my entire collegiate career. The security guard that was hired by this building broke into my apartment (4x4) which was filled with young college girls. Management of course did nothing about this and increased our rent instead of providing any kind of compensation for the emotional damage we endured as a huge man broke into our home while we were all sleeping. Please save yourself the emotional

For being one of the most expensive apartments in west campus, you would expect to have responsive staff and constant upkeep of common areas (the pool table is a piece of trash at this point with only 1 working stick) but you couldn't be further from the truth. Our maintenance requests would routinely take weeks to complete and management staff would conveniently be "out of the office" any time I wanted to contest a fee (of which there were numerous and of large sums). Most importantly however, there was a fire incident this past semester during which almost 5 fire trucks were called

Don't live here! This place uses flashy giveaways and Instagram posts to try to reel you in but once you're here, they treat you like trash! We have gone through so many changes and they just expect us to deal with all of their problems. The manager of this complex, a middle aged woman I believe named Candace, is extremely stand-off-ish and I have never seen a smile on her face. I'm pretty sure everyone who works here hates this place as much as we do. This is not a good place to live. Find a better location for a better rate with better management elsewhere.

My daughter has lived here for the last year. She is moving for next year. For being one of the most expensive apartments in Austin, one would expect a working shower with hot water - but, alas, only a few minutes of hot water are available. When the door locks were damaged by a water leak, maintenance was an hour away to let her in her apartment. Not impressive.

Originally, when this place was Aspen Heights, it was a disaster. My unit, in particular, had so many problems: a broken dishwasher, a nonfunctional dryer, no cable, and no hot water. We complained several times through the portal and at the front desk. Whenever I complained about the hot water at the desk, I was told that basically no one in Austin had hot water, which didn't really seem right. With that being said the maintenance guy was sent a few times to "turn on our water heater" which only provided lukewarm water for a mere few hours. It would then turn off and we were unable
